It rained the day before and my feet were an inch deep into the grass and mud, which were filled with geese poop. There is a bathroom and a big field to walk around in. There is also a nice baseball field to play. There is a community room to host events and etc. And a lot of parking space.

It's really fun to go and hang out there, but that's also where the drug addict is. There's also a swing set that lost its swings. it makes me sad whenever I see it, because I love swings. It's also super liminal. If you head to a road that leads to the road net to the school building, there is a pot hole that's shaped like a heart. I think it's really aesthetic. Right next the park there's a giant patch of barren land. on the edge, there is a wall covered in graffiti. I went there with my little sister once and splattered old paint all over it. The owner Johnny is outstanding at what he does, which includes controlling chaos for multiple parties at once. Unfortunately we happened to visit at the same time as a birthday part full of uncontrolled kiddos that made is frustrating for us to have the time to play as well. Not the owners fault one bit - this is not a babysitting service, this is a business of fun. Watching the parents sit idly by on the 'sidelines' while our party played actively with their kiddos was frustrating as well. This is the perfect place to come and get some exercise and have a literal blast! Johnny does his absolute best to help corral the kids and make it competitive and fun for all. Hey this little train ride is pretty fun! After seeing this on TV, it was added to our list of…read more"cheaper things to do on the weekends" and it's totally worth it! First thing I suggest is to make sure they are running the trains, their schedule is only on select days so it's worth it to check it out before heading over. Second, get there early! We got here right at opening and the line was already getting long. Though it moved pretty quickly once the trains started running. And finally bring the kids lol, our two year old did just fine and he had a blast! The trains are easy to sit on and once it gets going there's plenty for the little ones to see. They operate via donations so keep that in mind and support this awesome service!

My daughter is a gentle sensitive soul, who is a rule follower. We don't need volunteers hovering over us. We couldn't even stay in the touch tank room because they kept saying hurtful things. The staff/volunteers need training in child development. They kept stating rules to us, assuming that she was going to do wrong and make the wrong choices. We were simply there trying to explore and enjoy our time as a family on spring break. The volunteers ruined our visit. We would never go back!

One of the hidden treasures of Kitsap County, an extensively gardened park near Tracyton has many…read morechildren's activities and gardens in a nearly wild setting. It's maintained by a non-profit. Highlights include a natural "Native Plants" trail, a butterfly house, beach access, picnic areas, Master Gardeners demonstration garden sponsored b Washington State University Extension. And there's great charm in visiting each little plotted area that children care for, growing veggies for a local food bank. It's easy to fall in love with the place and end up volunteering on sundry projects and events and care of the park.
