It could be that John and Lisa treat you warmly, and professionally as if they were your personal coaches and friends... and that the whole team (regardless of class or level they choose to focus) is friendly and supportive without exception (and every one of them showing results!)... or that there are tons of classes all at realistic times to choose from. Additionally, there is TONS OF SPACE and equipment. Every day is a brand new workout...some old moves some new, but an AWESOME variety with booming sound system to keep it popping! Best yet, you start with a personalized assessment, and are encouraged to have correct posture in every level up to CrossFit, which you can progress to quickly, slowly or just stay in a class you are comfortable with. SO important. My knees have always been an issue in other gyms-- not here! Johns' eagle eye notices when there's a problem and he corrects the move to be pain free! No pressure! Late or skipped a class? No pressure (except from yourself to not miss a moment). This is an experience and John and Lisa, and their fellow coaches, are working every day to up it. The younger female employee with brown hair was sarcastic and rude instead of calmly and respectfully explaining the rule. The business is extremely rigid with its rules, yet the rules are not clearly posted or explained. There should be clear signage, and customers should be given the benefit of the doubt in a family-friendly setting. The owner has stated on previous reviews that there is "no polite way" to confront someone breaking the rules, which I strongly disagree with. In a family-friendly business, staff should be trained to address issues clearly, respectfully, and without sarcasm or hostility. Unless you want people to start boycotting your business. Even after paying, the attitude continued from their female staff member who was working in the Pro Shop and then we were not allowed to speak with the owner. Mini golf should be fun and welcoming, but this experience was not.

You have to have at least two people because someone has to operate the pitching machine. The machine was a bit iffy for slow pitch, it was hard to get the proper arc that is required. Eventually we ended up pitching to each other and standing behind the protective screen which was fine. We went on a weekday and it was a bit slow so they let us go a few minutes over since there was no reservation behind us. Shawn the owner was super nice and helpful and the facility looks great. They offer all kinds of options for teams and youth groups so if you have kids interested in sports you should definitely check them out. The only drawback is the lack of parking. There is street parking but be careful of parking in someone else's lot because they will have you towed. Other than that, this is a great addition to downtown Olympia since there are almost no batting cages in the area.

This facility is now run by EL1 and the facility was bright, well equipped and well lit. The facilty is a great place for baseball and softball players to train and hone their skills. The cages have high ceilings to give a more realistic trajectory and exit velocity. The facilty is warm and a great place for parents to wait and watch their kids become the next pro player or improve skills for high school or college. It helps that my son's team, Boys of Summer train here weekly. The area where the parents can wait for their kids have a counter and free wifi to get work done or entertain yourself for hours. There are also many great restaurants or restaurants places nearby to grab a cold one. If your child has ambitions of becoming the next all star or just wanting to be better than last season in little league or hi oh school, this is the place for you. Il

This was in line of sight of staff who did nothing to stop this. Older kid took off to play. I find out later he was doing this all night to my child and it apparently started because he had punched ANOTHER child. Staff said nothing to me about the incident that occurred in front of all of us. Door was wide open, anyone could have walked in. Typically things involving kids are more secure. Ratio seemed acceptable, there were like 3 or 4 when we arrived and 2 when we picked up and there were less than 10 kids. You would think they could handle it or help redirect the aggression - especially between bigger and littler kids. I'm disgusted because the coaches are pretty great for soccer so we trusted Arena Sports. I would NEVER recommend this to any parent. We contacted Arena but have heard nothing...which honestly I kind of expected.
