I like that, i don't feel like a dollar sign, but a valued client. I get two to three teeth cleanings a year (my insurance pays for 3), and my hygenist feels like family (the good family, not the . . . lol). i schedule them before i leave my last cleaning, and offten up to a year out. They use text message reminders a week out, which i like, and i have gotten in on short notice when someone cancelled the week before their appointment.

I reminded them that I have an infection, so if they would consider seeing me sooner, or cancellations, please call me. I waited and checked in with them two days later. no openings. I remind them that I'm in pain. no change in appointment. then on the morning of my appointment, as I drag myself to an 8:00am appointment, they call to tell me the doctor is not feeling very well today so he won't be in and they refused to give me antibiotics. needless to say, I found another dentist that actually cared I was in pain. We have been seeing Dr. Miller for 2+ years now and couldn't be happier. I have had to have a good bit of work done because I am 74 and things are wearing out teeth wise. Dr. Miller has always been very good at explaining what is needed, the alternatives, the appropriate time schedule for the work, the cost, and how to maximize utilization of my dental insurance. He is quick at his work so you don't end up with fingers in your mouth any longer than necessary. His staff is always pleasant to deal with and thorough in their work. Cleanings are a breeze. He seems to have the latest scanners and other technology so you don't have to make so many of those gooey impressions.
