Beautiful meat counter with the most amazing looking meats! The butchers were even cutting to order if you needed something not already in the counter. We left with two thick bone-in pork chops and 2 thick bone-in Ribeyes. We grilled the chops last night using the Sweet Heat Barnyard Blend the butcher recommended. Since we are at a VRBO, we don't have access to all the spices I have at home that I would normally use so it was nice to get a recommendation from the man cutting the meat! The chops were delicious and were really juicy and tender. The ribeyes are marinating for dinner with great friends tomorrow. I anticipate we will be thrilled with the quality of those steaks as well. Wonderfully friendly people, beautiful meats, a small produce and baked foods section plus they have prepared food you can take as well! Highly recommend! You will not regret stopping in!

I and a friend only purchased one item since we were only visiting to check the place out. It is smaller but carries all the essential items you would purchase from other grocery stores. A bunch of brands that I had never seen before and not as much variety in the same category of items. One thing that stood out to me was only being one option for purchasing eggs. That was amazing! No regular size, jumbo, or whatever variation of eggs. Only one option which is kind of a trend throughout the store. I love the simplicity of it. I did see that you bag you're own groceries and you had to use a quarter to take a grocery cart which you get back when you place it back in the stall. That's a great way to save on staffing extra employees and keeping the costs down for customers. I really enjoyed my first ever trip to Aldis and will for sure head back sometime in the near future.

I understand Littleton Spirits has Boars head meats and deli if that is what you are seeking. However the employees at the Food Lion meat and deli area are very attentive. I would avoid going on the weekend or go early to avoid the weekend shoppers. The parking lot is jammed on holiday weekends. This Food Lion has a bigger selection because they will honor special request orders when able. It is very clean. The employees are all very helpful and welcoming. The Gold Pan meals I tried were tasty but they were pricy. I love their Hi-Pro milk! The store is spacious and I never felt crowded by other shoppers. Overall, I think their groceries are a bit overpriced compared to competitors. Wegman's keeps mailing me 10% coupons, so that helps! Also, shopping the Hot Zones and using their app for coupons can help reduce cost further.
