*Update* Kitty's called my best friend thinking she was me and said my reviews were unacceptable. She then called me and left a message. She was much friendlier than she was to my friend(maybe because it was a recording). She told me she is going to review video and call me back. She refunded the money she charged us over the initial estimate. It's a start, I guess. She never offered an apology for any of it though, basically just said she wasn't responsible because she didn't talk to either of us and she doesn't know why the estimates were so wrong. read more

Took my dogs Jack and Jill to kittys dog spa for a bath and nail trimming. They both smell and look fantastic except for a raw spot on jacks back leg. Also both dogs had two nails cut way to short. Some nails look like they were not even trimmed or rushed and not square. You would think for $160 they would care for my pets a little more. Will not be returning! read more

We took our goldendoodle there today. Not only did it look like a blind person with a butter knife shaved her, she has been a nervous wreck sense. She was always calm and happy after our old groomers and now she is hiding under the table like she is about to be beat. These pathetic wastes of oxygen at this location should not even be allowed to touch a stuffed animal. Plan accordingly, and by that, I mean look for any other groomer anywhere. These people are a sad fucking joke. read more

I brought my dog in today for the first time(small goldendoodle) to get a full groom and trim and everything, and she came back to me with her tail not even touched, bad knots still on the base of her tail, and awful knots behind her ears. they also shaved underneath her arms to her skin for some reason ?? and her cut was sooooo choppy, it's looks awful. don't take your dogs here if they need a good grooming! i'm aware maybe it was a new employee or something, but you always want to be able to trust a new groomer! read more

Judging by previous reviews I can see I'm not the only one that they choose to extort! Made an appointment for my dog, upon arriving I was told that I would be charged for a no show appointment?? What? I don't recall ever making an appointment but if I did I'm sure these days the last minute call list is very robust. I paid the no show fee but will never, ever return and encourage others to not frequent a business that has such a rigid policy. Tough times to put out $145 for a 1 hour grooming. My 2 dogs were there on July 22nd, 2021 for a grooming & they both got kennel cough from them allowing other dogs to roam free in the office. She said she was going to take care of my vet bill that I gave her today (July 30th, 2021) after seeing the vet & then I got a call back from the Mountainwood Pet Hospital that she will not take care of the bill after all. I am beyond unhappy with Kitty Gallegos... Please be careful if you do go there. I don't want your pets to get sick like mine are now. I have to give them meds 2x daily now. I've been taking our 7 year old Bichon to Kitty for approximately 3 years. We had a bad experience at our last groomer, who yelled at him and dropped him once. He is a very shy dog and Kitty has been wonderful for him. She is professional and yet very attentive to the dogs needs. Her facility is always clean and she is friendly, often offering tips or advice with issues. I think she is the best groomer in Windsor and the local area. I have been taking my big-haired labradoodle to Kitty for about 6 years now. When we first moved to Windsor, I tried several other places and felt frustrated with the grooms he was receiving. Cooper has a thick coat and needs attention to the details (ears, paws, matting, etc.). I was complaining to his vet about it, and he told me to take him to Kitty, that she was the best he's seen. The rest is history! She does a fabulous job every time, and I feel confident about him being in her care. I refer everyone I know with dogs to Kitty's Dog Spa. She is sweet, caring, and I trust her with my dog. As for her grooming skills, she is the best! read more
