5 stars all the way around to Kitty Wong for taking our theme to perfection! I shared that the grandson is a dragon and our baby bao who we will be celebrating with a traditional Red Egg and Ginger party lunch. As she has made cakes for this celebration, she was able to hit it out of the park. Delivery was seamless and the cake arrived in perfect condition. The cakes were very tasty, especially the chocolate cake. Looking forward to ordering more cakes from Kitty as the grandkids come along! It's always nice to support a local business. read more

I'm going to keep it simple: Kitty Wong is amazing. She made my very niche design come to life in the form of a very detailed candy pinǎta and cake pops. Do not hesitate. Reach out to her IMMEDIATELY if you want something different from the traditional cake route (but I'm sure the normal cakes are great too). I'm looking for any possible excuse to order more desserts. Simply amazing. Everything was delicious & not "too sweet" by our asian standards! Huge selection of desserts to choose from. Kitty was professional & communication was smooth & easy. She asked me about my party's theme, I sent some photo inspo & she matched the vibe. On the day of, she showed up early to help me set up our dessert table. She has dessert stands but I opted to use my own so she didn't have to wait around & clean up. She worked with what I had & created a beautiful display! Just look at the amazing photos. I'm obsessed with the cake I received! I reached out about a 100 day celebration cake for my daughter about a month in advance after researching a couple of bakers on yelp. Was definitely impressed by all the photos I saw on both yelp and Kitty's IG. I had drawn up a little figurine that was the mascot of the party which I had asked to also be on the cake. Kitty did not disappoint at all with the decorations. For the flavors I chose vanilla chiffon and oreo fill. There were so many flavors to choose from, it was a little overwhelming. While I liked the oreo, I kinda wish I had chosen strawberry or something fruitier. Nevertheless, the cake was light and very tasty! You definitely get what you pay for with Kitty. I would love to order from her again for future parties! read more

Kitty made THE MOST AMAZING CAKE for my three-year old, who's obsessed with pirates! She was an absolute delight to work with - friendly, quick to respond, accommodating, creative. And she even offered to deliver (and in fact delivered) the cake to my home at no extra cost. The cake's exterior speaks for itself. The attention to detail and creativity made my kiddo (and me, if I'm being honest) giddy. The interior was also beautiful and very tasty. We got the almond citrus cake with strawberry lemon filling. I can't say enough good things about Kitty! Kitty was so understanding and accommodating when COVID forced us to cancel our 2020 wedding. She made herself immediately available (on short notice) for our 2021 wedding. She was amazing throughout the entire process - from providing me with a variety of tasting samples, choosing a design, selecting cake flavors (she added fresh fruit dices for us!), customizing our cookies, all the way to delivery. Ultimately, Kitty's beautiful and delicious cake and cute kitty cookies were one of the major highlights of our tiny wedding. The flower-painted cake was just exquisite and the cookies were adorable. Both were fresh and tasty too. We chose passionfruit cake and guava buttercream mixed with fresh mango and strawberry dices. Soooooo yummy and not too sweet! We wanted more! Kitty is wonderful to work with and makes beautiful cakes and cupcakes. We worked with her on a geode cake for my daughter's sweet 16th and it turned out so beautiful. I Ordered a cake from Kitty back in November but I kept forgetting to post a review. Kitty's very friendly, accommodating, and was able to make a gorgeous cake exactly like I wanted. My daughter loved it. The reason I bumped off a star though is the cake itself really wasn't all that exciting. I ordered decadent because I like rich chocolately flavor (not as far as flourless cake, but still rich). The cake we got was very light, and the frosting was so ridiculously wafer thin it almost wasn't there. I wish I had known was going to be so crazy thin because I would have asked for more. My friend who really hates frosting and loves lighter cakes thought this was excellent. So the cake is by no means bad, but her style is more for people who want very light cakes. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE Kitty's work!! She really took my ideas and brought them to life and sooo much more. Kitty was so professional to work with- When I had to adjust the size of the cake she was very accommodating. Kitty Wong made a unicorn rainbow cake for our daughter's birthday and she did a wonderful job! Kitty was responsive and communicative throughout the entire process. She was also very professional and friendly. Kitty offered a couple of suggestions to make the cake look and taste better, which she was spot on with! Our guests were amazed by the cake (by the look AND taste of it) including our guest of honor - the birthday girl - who absolutely LOVED the cake. We also ordered a dozen mini donuts which were made by Y.So.Sweet and decorated by Kitty. They turned out to be so amazing and were such a cute touch to the party! We cannot recommend Kitty and Y.So.Sweet enough and we definitely plan to use them again for our other daughter's birthday. read more

Kitty is insanely talented, not only in cake design but also in pastry. We're a big cake family and after trying out bake shops all across SF and the bay area, I'm excited to have found my new go-to in Kitty! AKA, she is the BEST! It's clear Kitty has a command of technique. Both her buttercream and fondant work are so clean and meticulous. Details matter to me and when I annoyingly specified shades of colors, in addition to confirming she "got" me, she responded that she appreciated the level of detail! ::heart emoji:: And boy, did she deliver! The cake inside was certainly not an afterthought. Her rich chocolate was moist and the flavor was balanced and not overly sweet. It's challenging to do taller cakes that are not overly dense but Kitty knew how to reinforce the cake perfectly so that it withstood 80 degree weather. Her buttercream is so good. It's clear she uses quality ingredients. Besides her mad skills, she was warm, receptive and was an absolute delight to work with. It was wonderful how open she was to collaborating on the design work but based on her previous work, I also felt confident giving her carte blanche. She really came through with wonderful, artful suggestions and the result was beyond my expectations. read more

We chose Kitty Wong to make our wedding cake! Kitty is busy and tries to get to her emails when she can; be patient - it's worth it! Kitty is very accommodating and met us at a parking lot so we can get a tasting box. The tasting box had a variety of cake and frosting flavors; we ended up choosing a 2-layered banana cake with strawberry lemon frosting. The cake was moist and the frosting was not too sweet. The cake was so good that we ended up ordering some flourless chocolate cake shooters/verrines as well. Kitty added fresh flowers to the cake and saved a place for our wedding toppers. Recently a friend of us got us some cakes from this place . Well fist I was impressed with the design very realistic ( for a unicorn) hahah well we also had the whiskey barrel cake . Then we taste the cakes . In my personal opinion and to my taste they were right on point . Not too rich but just the right Flavor . Chocolate and coffee flavor. I give then 5 starts not much in service because I was not the one who bought them but base on presentation and taste .and since I did not pay for it I cannot judge in price to value ratio. read more

Kitty made my wedding cake and it was absolute perfection!!! I found Kitty through Yelp and after seeing the pictures of her masterpieces online, I knew that I couldn't go wrong. Since I live out of town and my reception was in Walnut Creek, the majority of my conversations with Kitty was done through email. I simply gave Kitty our wedding colors (navy & fuchsia) and explained how I wanted to incorporate the houndstooth pattern into our wedding cake. Kitty quickly emailed me back her vision of the cake. My (now) husband and I met up with Kitty a few weeks before our wedding and she gave us several cake samples. We decided to go with a chocolate cake with a coffee caramel filling. The thing I loved the most about Kitty was she listened exactly to how I wanted the cake to look. I told her that we're not big fans of fondant, so she used a buttercream frosting instead. Kitty was an absolute joy to work with. She was always prompt to respond. All of our guests were amazed with how beautiful our cake looked and how delicious it was!!! Better yet, Kitty captured exactly how I envisioned our cake would look, with a navy houndstooth pattern and a fuchsia cake topper. She was so easy to deal with via email - I live in New York and was ordering a cake for my mom's birthday party where I was going to fly in the day before. She immediately sketched the cake based off the invitations I designed and when it arrived, it was even more wonderful in person. Everything is completely custom, so you are not forced to make any compromises. She has so many flavors to choose from - I ordered chocolate cake with chocolate hazelnut frosting and it was delicious - moist, flavorful, and not too sweet. I'm so happy to have worked with Kitty! My friend had her birthday coming up and plans changed last minute, I wanted to get her a really cute cake as part of her birthday present, she had been eyeing a Chanel bag for a while and I saw a few ideas for Chanel handbag cakes. It was a bit short notice, I needed the cake by June 8th and started my search on the 1st (I know, way to procrastinate). I e-mailed six different bakeries/cake decorators in the area with my time frame, what I was looking for, etc. Out of the six e-mails, I only received 2 replies. One saying there was no way, they were completely booked, and a call from Kitty the same day. She was super accommodating, offered suggestions for the cake design, and responded back to my e-mails and questions almost immediately. Needless to say the Chanel cake turned out BEAUTIFUL, everyone loved it and the birthday girl was very very happy. The detail was perfect and I definitely couldn't have asked for anything more. I look forward to working with Kitty again very soon. I wish I could give more then 5 stars! Kitty made the perfect birthday cake for my grandson's 1st birthday: a plump little dragon riding the waves on his surfboard. Around the bottom of the cake were the whimsical fishes, seashells, coral, octopus, and seaweeds found on the ocean floor. The cake not only looked like a set from a movie, but it was soooooo yummy. My grandson especially liked the strawberry filling because the berries were diced just the right size for him to eat! Well, Kitty's creation was the hit of the birthday celebration. Receiving a texted coupon for 15% off my order, I was excited to use it since I needed a birthday cake. Though there was an online code, I could not use the discount online. I called the shop several times, but there was no answer, and I even left a voice message but never heard a call back. Finally I noticed there was number on the website to text so I did, and got a response. The response was that it was too late to order the cake, and the coupon couldn't be used online ordering system because the online ordering system was different from what was used in the store. BUT I was told I can still call my order in and pay in advance over the phone to get the 15% discount if I still wanted cupcakes, and if the store didn't answer, the person sending the text said he/she would contact the store. I appreciated that kind gesture. The next morning, I settled for cupcakes and decided to call the order in and pick up the cupcakes in the afternoon since I had no time that morning to go to the store. But lo and behold, I called and again no one answered. I texted the same number from the day before and a response came back that they would contact the store to give me a call. I checked in by calling the store two more times and still no answer. And no one called back that afternoon either. Sadly, I had to give up, but was glad to give business to a way more responsive bakery with delicious cakes.

I assumed that the cookies would be bundled in a simple cellophane bag, but these were individually wrapped and THEN carefully packaged in these adorable boxes. Just above and beyond. I saw that Ms. Kitty has great reviews and went for it.. the cake wasn't just beautiful it was DELICIOUS... so this year I contacted Kitty for my Nieces birthday cake...my niece picked out an image of a cake that she wanted for her themed Birthday Party "Pirates Of The Caribbean" so I sent the image to Kitty and asked if it was doable but with a girlie look...
