This is a really cool place - the staff is so amazing and friendly and invested in customer service. The food was fantastic! Even picked up some cool souvenirs. Tried their English muffin with ham, the chocolate chocolate chip cookie, a side of sliced ham, the matcha latte, and a yogurt. Very clean and loved the building and view!! Would highly recommend! Came here with Mountain Based Tours!

Great place and highly recommend a stop here for your morning coffee and breakfast and or lunch. Both a great cafe and amazing destination full of heart, nature and inspiration.

Most beautiful coffee shop in in the US? I had to see it for myself. I drove an hour out of my way on a Bryce Canyon trip. Yep. Gorgeous! Good coffee.. great vege sandwich with a view to die for. I loved visiting with my waitress. She told me there was two cottages to stay in as well. And suggested that I do the Escalante river hike, which I did. The leaves were changing, and the water was rushing because they had had a couple of rainy days. Just do it. Be aware that they open in March, and close the first week of November depending on the weather. They don't have heat and their water is from a spring so they have to turn it off before it starts to freeze. They are closed Monday and Tuesday and are open from 8 AM to 4 PM. Such a treat.

What a great find on our drive to Bryce Canyon - gorgeous view, delicious coffee and pastries!

I love stopping at this place as we drive through the area. It's a cozy little oasis in the desert. I look forward to their lemonades & hard boiled eggs. I will say things have gotten a bit pricey there recently, so consider your budget when going. Definitely consider your budget if you're thinking about picking up a souvenir mug. All the pottery is artisan crafted & spendy. If anything, it's a nice place to have a glass of water & take in the views.

First timers after a taxing hike to the Upper Calf Creek Falls. The smoothies were great, the chicken salad sandwich and quinoa bowl were delicious! The service was super nice and ambiance was peaceful and the views amazing. Highly recommended if in the area.

This place both inconspicuous and breathtaking. You won't truly understand until you go. (Careful, you might completely miss it on your drive through Hwy 12 as it's nestled into the All-American scenery.) I could try to describe how cool this little coffee shop is, but I know it won't do it justice. All I can say is it's absolutely worth a visit! The coffee and food were great, but the views and vibe are the real heroes.

Kiva Koffeehouse is such a unique and cool spot, perched on the side of a hill with parking above it. The atmosphere is incredible--a mix of hippie and Native American influences that gives it a really special vibe. We tried a couple of iced lattes, a blackberry muffin, and a slice of coffee cake, and everything was excellent. The coffee was smooth and flavorful, and the baked goods were fresh and delicious. This place is definitely worth a stop if you're traveling through. Between the amazing views, unique setting, and great coffee, it's an experience you won't forget.

Kiva Koffeehouse; what a location, this coffee house it's all about location, location. Beautiful views of the mountains and the creek in Escalante, Utah. Perhaps one of the most beautiful places to be drinking coffee and eating a pastry. The coffee special was very well acceptable, black coffee with creamer and sugar. The tiramisu was excellent, almost tasted homemade, which I asked, but no, not homemade, yet, it was delicious. The entire family enjoyed the coffee and pastry's. Customer service was great from the minute we walked in, small conversation, and a history talk of the coffee house itself. Provided information about why the coffee house was constructed in this way. Once you order, find a table and then bring your order to your table. Amazing help!! It's clear that coming here is worth the drive, even if it's 14 hours away from home, to experience Kiva Koffeeshouse firsthand. The experience was great, but only the memories from this moment and time can determine if the journey was worth the effort. So far it has!

You're in the middle of nowhere, and this place was very very good. Enjoy the view, try the breakfast burrito, and my wife really wants you to know that the specialty coffees were very very good. This is a popular location and while we were there they were erasing entrée offerings from a chalkboard daily. Get there early if you really want to enjoy one of the breakfast burritos and muffins.

What a fun place to take a break on a long day driving. My wife has Chai, and I had a Latte. both were very good.
