Unfortunately we were quite disappointed with the quality of the work, communication, and follow through. Some specific areas of disappointment: More than six months passed between accepting the bid and actually starting the project. It required several phone calls to get on the schedule. Then, they did not start work when scheduled and left to go hunting in the middle of the project. They told us to expect a two day job, it took a week to complete the bulk of the work and it is still not done. We were forced to rearrange our own work schedules several times to accommodate repeated delays. Once we cut the check, they seem to have abandoned the job completely despite committing to return and finish up. They have said "tomorrow" a few times, but don't show up or call. Gutters they'd removed for the demo of the old roof were not reaffixed. They also threw away entire portions of the gutters and damaged other portions. Nails, staples, shingles and other debris are all over the yard and driveway and left clogging the gutters. The swamp cooler was removed when demoing the old roof, but was not reattached when they finished (it was left just sitting on the roof with no warning). They also cut the water line to the cooler. When demoing the old roof, they tossed the shingles off without protecting the sides of the house or sidewalks. They used wd40 to try and clean off some the tar that is now marking up the house, but that didn't do much other than add grease spots. Everyone involved in the project was nice enough throughout the process and they seem to be knowledgeable about their trade. But it feels like they have more work than they can accomplish in a professional manner and don't care about inconvenience to the customer or making the effort to get things done properly.

( I didn't know who to call and someone suggested a fireplace company.) the lady I spoke with, was not sure she could help me. But after putting me on hold, she came back and said she believed they could. I sent them requested pictures of the front of the fireplace to confirm they could do it. They called me the next day to set up an appointment on March 20 ( almost 30 days!) and it would be $200. I thought it was a fair since they were also going to clean the inside fire box. The lady I spoke with said they would only be cleaning the black soot below the mantle, down to the fire box and into the fire box. I agreed. On March 19, I called to confirm next day's appointment and to see if they could possibly clean the whole fireplace from the ceiling down. She said she didn't know since the guy didn't have a ladder. After questioning about no ladder and offering my husbands she finally confirmed the appointment the following morning between 7:30-8;00 am and the guy would have a ladder. Great! 30 minutes later I received a phone call (from the same lady that I have always talked to) advising me that cleaning soot from a rock fireplace is not a service they provide. WTH!!!! why didn't they tell me this 30 days ago when I sent pictures and they made the appointment? Why did they wait until the day before to tell me this when we are planning a huge party on Saturday !! the only thing she could say was "well we can clean your flu and the inside fire box" are you flipping kidding me??! absolutely not!!!! I am not sure who is running this company, but I can't tell you they definitely do not have their shit together.!!! and very unprofessional!! ******update***** to owner of business; Thank you for your response, it was never ever explained to me that you would only clean the sit around the outside opening of the fire box which the soot extended up about 3 feet. The lady I spoke with I think her name was either Heidi or Hillary originally told me it would be no problem. When I called to confirm the appointment and ask if they could clean the whole rock front of fireplace from the ceiling down, if she would have explained to me that they only cleaned the soot that was generated from the fire box, I would've been understanding to that. But the only thing she told me was, we do not provide that service. That was the original service that I was supposed to receive today.!!! and very sadly it was not communicated to me in that fashion!! And why did she tell me that he would now come with a ladder? Well, I'm sure you have a lot of customers and one unhappy one is not going to matter to you! But once again, if she would've explained to me that they will only clean the soot generated from the fire box. He spent less than 40 minutes on the job and when I asked him for an invoice, he refused to provide one claiming he didn't do those and didn't like to have things in writing (keep in mind this is a licensed, bonded, and insured HVAC guy). When I texted him later stating he needed to provide me an invoice, he again stated he did not do those and that our agreement was verbal. When I stated that I had it in writing (text message) that he was refusing to provide me with an invoice for services rendered and I told him I was going to put a stop payment on the transaction he finally replied back a few hours later texting me a picture of a hastily written out invoice (on company letterhead.... ironic from a guy who doesn't ever do things in writing) that 1. I am having trouble reading and 2. was written after the fact and so I don't trust it anyways (not to mention that fact I don't think he took the job seriously to begin with (he has of yet not mailed it to me either). After that, he then responded by cussing me out in text message. This is the type of professionalism and customer service you are getting from this guy. Save your money, like I should have (as of yet he has not refunded anything)
