Received a coupon in the mail for $69 Maintenance. Made appointment and technician came as…read morescheduled. However he checked a couple of things on the outside AC unit in about 20 Min and reported everything looks great and I quote" you should have no problems for for the summer season" This was 6/20/2026. I asked if he cleaned the coils and he told me this was not included in the service I requested. I was surprised the coils were not included so I went outside later and started cleaning the coils. I noticed shinny screws on the ground and realized the Tech had not put back on the screws removed to check the Electric on my AC unit. I spoke to owner who said he would come next day to replace screws, but never saw or heard from him again. JUST 30 DAYS LATER my AC unit stopped working on a Saturday evening so we were without AC for two days at 112Degree days. Had another company come out and he found Burnt wires which burnt out the compressor. New tec said the wires were burnt for quite some time and previous company should have seen them? SO MUCH FOR YOU ARE GOOD FOR ALL SUMMER NO PROBLEMS ?? Gave Tri-State A/C Hero a chance, but they are no Hero just a Zero!!

Sorry to say I now believe that the negative reviews for Alpha Air are most probably true. Five…read moreyears ago, this company used to be very good with communication because of Terry, their front office lady. After she left them for whatever reasons, getting somebody to pick up the phone or respond back to leaving a voice message can be hit or miss, especially during the busier summer months. Don't waste your money to buy their extended warranty because Alpha Air won't be there for you when you really need them for that expensive covered repair job. My AC died during a 100+ degree day, and I called Alpha Air several times and left a message but no answer. I finally decided to just call another AC company that came the same day to fix the problem, but of course, I had to pay out of pocket instead of being able to use the pre-paid warranty. I also had a sick, elderly parent suffering in a sweltering house so I wasn't going to wait for an unreliable company that didn't pick up their phone and will likely just say that they never got my phone call or voice message or that there was a glitch in their system. Alpha Air can do the job well if/when they want to show up so I give them one star for that and one star for Terry who no longer works for them. Based on my recent experience, however, I won't be using Alpha Air anymore and wish we had never paid for their useless extended warranty. They got their extra profit back then, but lost a long-term customer as of now. Businesses that truly deserve all their positive reviews have consistently excellent communication/customer service so they don't have to give after the fact excuses or apologetic explanations.
