As for Conrad's painting, He did my entire first floor and it was soot damaged and in very bad shape. There were a few details that I was not happy with. Conrad was more than happy to come back with pleasure and take care of more than a few minor details until I was completely satisfied. He came back twice. Once on a Sunday. I felt like I was being a stickler about details but all he wanted was for me to be happy. He remained a professional gentleman. Here is the final results. The next day he brought another worker. Let's just say they ruined my floors because the workers were totally incompetent. They applied a stain when none was warranted and the many sanding to remove it resulted in gouges and nail pops. They failed to use high quality plastic to cover doorways. My Chihuly type chandelier has to be professionally cleaned at an $1,100 estimate. They left a hand crafted dining table out side causing it to strip the finish and bubble the patina. Estimated cost to repair $5,500 The floors now need to be replaced completely because there is nothing left to sand. Cost $15,000 The owner Jonathan never returned a single phone call or text after many many attempts. When asked for the name of his insurance company he refused to give it. DO NOT hire this company! Accommodated us earlier as we had unusually great weather. Team of at least 6 arrived 7am daily, most days still at it with the same gusto at 530pm. Meticulous cleanup daily. Careful with mature plantings surrounding property. Unexpectedly had to work around a large team of roofers, which they did seamlessly. Personable, professional and incredible attention to detail. Owner Jonathan(like most painters this time of year)is very busy, most communication is with client coordinator Carla, whose response time to early am or late evening questions was remarkable. One glitch in the project, Jonathan was at the door to address it in less than an hour. A great team and a beautiful finished project. Priced on the high end of quotes but well worth for the result. We don't know who they subbed the job to but we had paint on our furniture, window treatments, woodwork. Two coats of quality paint were not used. It appeared that one coat of cheaper paint was splashed on. The company was all talk but we had to eat this loss.
