I did not want to have to write this review, as I know that negative feedback can harm small businesses. Unfortunately, I was left no choice after Conrad refused to take ownership of the UTTERLY HORRENDOUS paint job performed in our new home. I would preface this by saying that I have never been compelled to write a review online. I would also highlight that in obtaining estimates for our paint job, Conrad came in the highest but we ultimately went with him under the impression that we would be getting a properly done, professional end-product. Our experience could not have been more different. Firstly, Conrad completely RUINED our one-week-old freshly stained hardwood floors by tracking baby blue paint (from our front door) through every single room in our house. Baseboards weren't taped, resulting in white paint being splattered around the base of many stairs, floor trim, and floor corners. Interior doors were sanded and left unpainted. Trim was left completely untouched in many places. In rushing through the job, he got paint on our curtain rods, door hinges, bathroom vanities, and kitchen cabinets that we have since been picking off by hand for weeks. He left lumpy drywall patches throughout. Built-ins were painted in the laziest fashion possible. In summary - SLOPPY, SUB-PAR work which the attached photos support. After multiple attempts to discuss this with Conrad and come to a resolution, we continue to be ignored. We were not at the house when he finished, and I paid him in full, in good faith assuming a job well done. I now have to hire another painter at my expense to finish / redo the botched job. The floor refinishers also need to return to sand and re-stain in many areas, again on my dime. Disappointed, disrespected, and unspeakably upset at the complete lack of care that Conrad and his apprentice showed to our new home. Can't quite understand the many positives reviews, as our experience was nothing short of a disaster. Hands down worst contractor experience I have had throughout my renovation. read more

I'm writing this review about Conrad Painting. I've had the pleasure of Conrad painting working on both the exterior and interior of my home this year. Painting began inside during the colder months and then moved outside as the weather improved. The interior work featured the dining room, the kitchen and the living room. Drop clothes were properly placed, furniture was cautiously and respectfully moved and the paint jobs for each room were great. Conrad Painting then proceeded to my exterior, including the entire house (4000 square feet), the garage and the shed. Again, drop clothes went down first and were properly positioned so paint removed during a thorough power washing end up on the cloth and not on the lawn. Work was done methodically and meticulously, including hand painting up to and including the 3rd floor as well as the use of a power painter. The outside of my house looks phenomenal! Conrad is an active listener; intelligent, polite, humorous and respectful. He has expertise and intellectual capital about painting that shows just how well he has learned his craft over the decades. He was on-site each and every day and did work as well.
