So I had the June beer (their special month). It wasn't that bad. Then I had Chip abd Dip. I couldn't stop eating because it was delicious. Then I had Morning Glory Burger, i didnt except to be that big and messy. But it was good. The service wasn't too bad. The ambiance was okay, just a little loud. Parking was easy.

Sadly, our server (I believe it was Emma - hard to see because she was so quick to bolt by), was very inattentive. When we placed our drink orders she asked orders for each of the other three in our party - even asked my husband twice - and was about to leave our table before I had to stop her to ask her for a drink. My BLT salad with salmon was rather flat - the chopped veggie situation was nice but dressing was bland even after asking for lemon when no balsamic was available. Salmon was cooked nicely. But what made me write my review is that first, I had to get up to ask a manager for something for the salad after trying four times to catch our server's attention. Then she came to our table mid-meal - genuinely while my daughter in law and I were only halfway through our entrees - to ask us to check out. My husband was in the restroom and I had to ask her to wait until he returned! After many years in service, this was very off-putting and should be a no-brainer. She did ask a couple if times on-the-go if we needed anything, but these issues made that feel like an after-thought. Hubby loves Drake's so I'm sure we will return, but honestly would probably ask for a different server.

The decor is minimalist but nice and the seating is comfortable. Service was a little slow, but pleasant. But the food itself was unexpectedly good! Their French Dip burger was excellent. It's rare to find French Dip sandwiches using traditional roast beef these days, as roast beef has been replaced by barbequed beef or pulled pork. Here they applied the French Dip concept to a well-prepared beef burger. The au jus was excellent and when the burger was dipped into it -- it was soooo good. As a side, the fire-roasted corn was out of this world, too. Whatever spices they put on the roasted corn really take it to the next level. Also amazing was their Cajun pasta with broccoli and chicken (added on). The sauce was stated as being alfredo with Cajun spices, but it tasted to me almost like a combination of pesto and alfredo. I've had Cajun style pasta sauce in many restaurants and it usually has what you'd expect in terms of Cajun seasoning. Here I'm not even sure I'd describe it as Cajun really, but whatever seasoning they put in the sauce, they should patent it. The chicken was well-grilled, tender and tasty and the broccoli pieces were also wonderful. On top were two pieces of perfectly baked Italian style bread that I used to soak up every bit of that incredible pasta sauce. Even though this place it basically 3 hours from where I live, if I'm ever anywhere near here again, I'd go back in a heartbeat!

They start you off with fresh bread and a delicious flavored butter, which was a great touch. Also had the escargot. We ordered the filet mignon and the chicken, both served with a house mixed greens salad. Everything was well prepared and enjoyable, though the food didn't quite wow us for the price. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're looking for good food, friendly service, and a charming historic setting.

I've taken business associates and family with the highest confidence that they would experience the finest meal they've ever had. Sadly, my last two visits, My guests and I were disappointed. They no longer offer a full-size filet mignon, which in itself is very disappointing, the thin "4oz"(not) filet medalions were under cooked . And no baked potatoes! What?! We finished our "Non-Tavern-like" meal looking forward to the excellent cheesecake we've enjoyed dozens of times. Not tonight, my friend! We were told they now offer a homemade flavored cheese cake. Only i opted to try it. What i was served was a small square that tasted little like the excellent NY-style one they served for years. Our server, who the bartender said was now one of the owners, told us that the cheesecake we had bragged about for years, "that old cheesecake was from Cisco!" Hmmm. Very sad! What happened? New chef? New owners? I don't know but the Bottom line is we'll likely find another restaurant that hasn't put profits ahead of quality.

They have an extensive drink menu, with cocktails, local and imported beer, and wine. The Tapas Experience, $30 for 3 tapas, is such a good deal! Service was good! They did a good job of spacing out serving us the tapas. For drinks, I tried the Bourbon Peach Smash, Blackberry Gin, and Godiva Chocolate Martini. All cocktails were $12. They were all good! However, I didn't see any fresh muddled peaches in the Bourbon Peach Smash. Here's the food I tried: - Adult Fries ($12): Amaaaazing. Not spicy to me! - 3 Cheese Arancini ($12, unless part of Tapas Experience): Fine, but 3 balls just isn't worth it to me. - Lemon Ricotta and Roasted Red Pepper Crostini ($12, unless Tapas Experience): Super good!! - Bruschetta ($12, unless T.E.): Delicious! - Duck Confit Egg Rolls ($16, unless T.E.): Such a large portion! Very good! - Buffalo Chicken Sliders: They were out of short rib, so they recommended these to us instead. I wasn't a huge fan and wouldn't get these again. - Tapas Tacos (3 for $15, but you get 2 when doing T.E.): We tried the Jamaican Jerk Chicken and the Black Bean. Neither were that great. Next time, I would do the Tapas Experience and get the Lemon Ricotta and Roasted Red Pepper Crostini, Bruschetta, and Duck Confit Egg Rolls. That was enough between 2 people. If we were still hungry, I would get the Adult Fries. I would go back!

(And I can eat) The atmosphere was relaxing and could totally be a date night environment, to birthday, to suite and tie cocktails after work! Totally multi situation friendly! Love the couch and chair set up! But if you just want to sit at a table or bar, they have that option as well! Now speaking of bar, they have a solid selection of drinks, (Bourbon being my favorite) the upper shelve selection was not large, but I'm normally okay with that because it keeps this Whiskey and Bourbon snobs that just want to talk about how expensive the bourbon they drink is. As long as they have a solid selection of mid rang, and a good mixer/bartender then I'm a happy camper! NOW speaking of mixer/bartender. Chelsey was great. Makes a solid cocktail and handles the back of the bar like a true professional, you can definitely tell she is there to help this establishment keep there customers and make new locals and visitors want to come back! Yes! On that note, I will be back, main reasons, the whole staff was friendly, they get to you in a quick and professional manor to explain the menu. Constantly checking on you to see if you needed anything(drink was never empty)! And last but not least, the environment! @hikinginbrooks Thank you very much!
