I came here for a pedicure and manicure, and during my pedicure they cut my nail so deeply that it started bleeding. Instead of properly cleaning and treating it, they simply put gauze over it to hide the bleeding. When I later removed my pedicure, there was still dried blood left from the incident. I also had acrylic applied to my toes. For the $70 they charge, you would think they would know how to do it professionally..but nope. When I had the acrylic removed, I discovered they had applied acrylic onto my skin, and it ripped my skin off during removal. On another note, if you care about your cuticles, do NOT come here. I'm missing part of the cuticle bed on my big toe because they were so aggressive while trimming. They cut into the living skin surrounding my nail, and now I have inflammation because of it. I was curious why this place is never busy and wondered if it was one of those hidden gem salons. It is not. I will definitely not be coming back for the sake of my skin, nails, and cuticles!! read more

I wanted to try this place out based on the reviews. The only thing I didn't like was I had to move from lady to lady for a little just for my shellac to get polished on & the lady who did it didn't understand what I wanted & didn't know how to do what I requested so that's how I ended up with Thuy. Visited this shop because it was walking distance from my job. I got a full acrylic set and eyebrow wax, and I am happy to say that this was one of the best salon experiences i've ever had! The lady was super nice and patient with me and my sensitive nails. I panicked a little bit when the eyebrow wax was being placed a bit too close to my eyelid, but the results were impeccable. Just went here for my first time to get a gel manicure. I never even noticed it was right beside the Ross I frequently visit until I found it on Google Maps. I brought in a picture example of the way I wanted my manicure to look, and the technician snapped a picture on her own phone as a reference. I told her I'm not really picky and it did not have to be exact. She did an awesome job and really took care to make it look beautiful. She kept complimenting how beautiful the color was too. This salon is good when it comes to doing your nails. They do your nails with time and try to do them the best they can. I'm only giving it 4 stars bc of customer service. They can be nice but at the same time if you're explaining or asking them something about their nail services they WILL cut you off and ignore what you're saying. After seeing the good reviews i finally decided to try them out, my first experience was ok. I was a walk in, had to wait some 25 min. Understandable. I wanted a full acrylic set, i like them short. I am not kidding when i say i was in the chair for 20 min and she was done, i asked how much a refill was so that i could come back in two weeks. The lady said 20$. Ok great. At first i loved that it was quick, but as the days went by- the nails chipped, and chipped and the paint easily came off. I dont do heavy work, im at a computer all day. When i came back to get my refill, one of the workers was barefoot, feet up on the nail drying station and on her phone. Told her i was there for my refill, she then says a refill is 42$ I turned to the woman that had previously done my nails and said, "you told me 20$ at the beginning of the month". She says "no we changed the price". In the same month? The full set i had gotten was around 45$. I went back to my nail lady at Jenn's Cozy Nail Salon dont the street which i should've gone to in the first place. Shes great, she mentioned the lady here did a questionable job, and my nails were lucky i didn't get an infection. Other things i noted on my visit. Nothing was being sanitized (nail clippers, brushes, solar lights) as the nail tech's worked on different customers. The file she tried to use on me had obviously been used before. The pedicure stations were not being sanitized with each use. While my first visit was ok, i can definitely say i do not recommend them, and hope whoever does makes sure to tell them to sanitize and use a different file. read more

This salon is the only one I trust to carefully treat my nails that are really delicate due to a genetic condition. My nails were absolutely destroyed at a different salon two weeks before due to cruel and rough nail technician and Fawns was able to fix the damage and make my broken nails look presentable again. Small nail salon with not to many workers, its quiet so good if you want to relax. The prices are definitely super reasonable. Make sure you know exactly what you want and also make sure you're comfortable speaking up if you don't like something. I got a few nicks which did hurt but no blood was drawn so i didn't say anything. I was there for 2 hours because they had to restart and i had to wait a little while when I first arrived but overall the experience was fine and my nails came out good . If I could give this place a zero I would. It was my first and very last time ever going there. I had an awful experience here and WILL NEVER return again. I walked in and wasn't greeted they just stared at me like I was crazy after I said hello I would like a pedicure. She was awfully rough that my toes are hurt and she didn't even properly remove the callus off of my feet. My feet still feel awful. She tried charging me $18 extra for a certain polish type and I said no thank you. She proceeded to place that exact polish on and then tell me for the service it's $35 and $5 extra for the special polish that was supposedly "$18 extra". I sat over by the dryer and she comes up to me and say "Hello do you mind paying right now I have to leave." I said "what does that have to do with the two other women that are still in here? Do they not know how to use the register? If you are trying to insinuate that I will just up and leave without paying then that's insulting and I don't appreciate this terrible service I am receiving the moment I walked in." She says "oh no no, I just am leaving and whomever does the service for the customer they must check you out." So I proceeded to pay and the woman doesn't leave. She proceeded to do another customers pedicure and then walked back over to me trying to rush me out if the door when I only sat at the dryer for 5 minutes and I snapped telling her to not rush me. Called in a few minutes ahead and asked them if there was any available spots for acrylics refill. The lady who had answered said yes and quoted me the price (I believe it was $20-$30, I can't really recall.) When I arrived, all the spots were taken and it took about 30-45 minutes for me to get my nails done, even though the lady had told me she was available through the phone. Anyways, I waited and when I finally picked my color she told me she was unable to do it because my current color was too dark. Although this has never happened to me since my other nail tech lady usually just buffs it out and applies the new color, I can't really go to her at the moment since it's way out of my way. I opted to just get my nails taken out since I already had nude nails and she would only do darker colors on my nails, however since it's summer, I didn't really want to go dark. I sensed she was kind of annoyed that I didn't want to get a refill and once I told her, she proceeded to yank my acrylics off with nail clippers. That really caught me off guard and I asked her if this location doesn't take off acrylics with acetone and she replied, "well you didn't ask." Well.. I didn't know I had the option. She proceeded to justify herself by saying that this was a faster route but my nail bed became completely damaged with splits. She then rushed me to get my nails soaked and paid little to no attention while she was buffing and filing my nails. Once I got it off, I still noticed I had some acrylics left on my nails but I didn't really want to tell her as she seemed more occupied doing her other clients nails as she tried to rush my service. I also noticed they don't sanitize any of their tools although there's a sanitizing spot on every station. They also talk rudely to their customers and although they probably didn't know I was Vietnamese, I fully understood everything they said about others. read more

My sister and I went here recently and I honestly think they could have done a better job. From the jump they all acted like they were confused as to what we wanted...I wanted a pedicure and my sister wanted an overlay and a pedicure...pretty simple, right? Duh. My pedicure came out really good since that was the only thing I was getting, however my sister's not so much. The two ladies that were working on her were really rushing and not taking their time. Her pedicure was "ok" and her nails were terrible. They were really uneven and not even completely polished. I really think it had to do with the fact that they were closing at 7:00pm and we arrived around 6:45. Had we known they were closing in the next 15 minutes we would have gladly gone somewhere else. No hard feelings! I do think this place has the potential to receive four stars, but because they rather rush to receive a buck and produce sub par results they are lucky to get two stars! read more
