1/28/26 Al is great for cutting my hair. It's a very simple cut. Great guy. In the past couple of years the cost for my haircut went from $30.00 to $35.00 and now without notice or posting anything, As I was paying Al for my haircut, Gorget blurted out the price went up to $40.00 and said Al is to nice of a guy to tell me so she informed me. Of course I tip appropriately and now my haircut will be $48.00 to $50.00 now. As I mentioned I require a very simple haircut. If Al needed to raise the price he should be the one to inform me. JorJet did a great job, thank you! Their online booking system is very easy to use. After bookiing an appointment you get reminders by email and text. Their location is nice as they are in a strip mall with a very large parking lot so no problem finding parking. I have been in the area for 2 years and the person I was going to was not doing what I asked. I made sure to wash my hair and let it air dry so JorJet could see my natural hair. I asked for layers and bangs in my medium length curly hair and she delivered. I finally have what I was looking for. She was very professional and nice. She's super friendly, will offer suggestions, fit you in, and won't have you waiting for your appointment. My son is use to colorful chairs shaped like cars. If you're looking for a kiddie salon with toys, this isn't the salon for you. But I have to say, Al is great with my 3 y/o son. We moved here to Manteca almost a year and a half ago. I have been trying to find a REAL barber after trying six to seven different shops. I went to Klassic Kuts today for the first time and was very satisfied with my haircut. Al did NOT RUSH through the process and did a clean careful job with my haircut. He actually used his blow dryer to shape my hair and ACTUALLY COMBED IT WHEN finished. Something the others never did so you don't realize a mess until you get home.. This is a clean and comfortable shop and makes you feel welcome not like some of the other assembly line operations out there .And another positive, they are a couple of minutes away from my home. I would rate this place a 0 star if could. It says they are open till 6 and I went in at 5:30. The lady in this front had a really disgusting attitude Because we walked in 30 minutes before closing! Just recently moved here and looking for an eyebrow lady, and here she is! He did a great job of not doing them too thin and kept the shape of my eyebrows. And came another time to get a hair cut... now I haven't gotten an hair cut in 2 years, so I was nervous but she did a great job! I did a short cut in the back and long in the front. Went in to see Jorjet for the 1st time a few weeks ago. I had made my appointment online and only had to wait a few mins before she saw us. Jorjet gets to the point. This a a no frills type of haircut spot. She cut exactly the amount of hair I asked for my daughter and myself. I can appreciate that she is quick yet efficient. First off let me say I've been going here for approximately 8yrs and went to JorJet 1 time to get my hair cut . I've Never had someone treat me so ruff after that I started going to Al. He did a good job and I was pleased. The reason I'm writing this is because Of JorJet we've had issues in the past and I over looked them well NOT this time ! Let me say this I've Always left a generous tip and this time I did as well but this time I payed with a $10 & $15 ones and I walked out I wasn't home for 10min and JorJet calls me saying I only payed $15 and I still owe the $10 she made it sound like I cheated them I explained I know for a Fact I payed them . Well I went right back to their shop and payed the $10 not wanting to make issue of it but JorJets attitude was just outrageous ! To treat a long standing customer like this is Not acceptable I always left a generous tip and that should have come to THEIR mind and just let it go instead of insulting me and Loosing my business. Friendly and fast. Took both my boys in as a walk in. They are 1 and 3. She did exactly what I asked and was really good with my babies. A handsome cut for the baby and just a trim for my big man. I've been a long-time customer of Klassy Kuts over the last nine years, and I can say that they cut hair fairly well. However, the proprietors are loud and obnoxious, and their customer service is horrendous. On many occasions, I've witness Georgette (or whatever the primary stylist is) berate customers for random, piddly reasons. Or there's Al (the barber who usually cuts men's hair), who's always trying to sell you something or persuade you to do something while cutting hair (e.g. gift cards for some off-brand makeup they're schilling, tickets to the Assyrian Fair in Modesto, or getting my wife and I to vote repeatedly for Klassy Kuts as a "Best of Manteca" winner, etc). Furthermore, my recent and last visit to Klassy Kuts occurred when I waited for 90 minutes to get a hair cut. When it was my turn, I was told that someone who had walked in 30 minutes earlier had a reservation. I'm all for making appointments, but Georgette could have had the courtesy of telling me that this gentleman was before me given that (1) I'm a regular who comes every three weeks, (2) she was idle for the thirty minute period in which I and this fellow were waiting, and (3) they were closing in about an hour. If you enjoy long waits, high prices, second-rate customer service, and annoying banter (that Georgette and Al think are cute); then Klassy Kut's is the place for you. read more

Update 2/3/18 - I now get a 2 on the top with a 0 on the side, faded and lined up. Al also does my beard and goatee and as always with precision. I've attached some recent pics below. No other place to go for a haircut. I've been coming to Al since I was 13, I'm 29 (16+yrs) now and Al has been the only one touching my head from fades to beared/mustache/goatee trims to ponytails and all the way to Mohawks...we've been through it all together. He has even started to cut my little sons hair. His precision is his best skill. He always takes his time to assure you leave with the perfect cut. He is never in a rush no matter how busy it is. He does his appointments in 30 min intervals so an appt is best as he has lots of clientele. Jorget can do it all and can multi-task very well They are always well accommodating and will always try to get you in at your requested time. Jorget and Al have been doing things right for some time to survive as a small business in this economy as they been able to do what they love for over 24 yrs! I went to this place on a fluke. After getting a little desperate from going to other barbershops that I wasn't satisfied with, rather service or the cut itself, I ran into this place on yelp. Being nervous as hell because I'm picky when it comes to cutting my hair, I got a cut by Jorjet. Very sweet lady. Kind of gave me the "best friend's mom" type of feel. Got me seated fast and got to work. Have to say probably one of the best fades I've had in a while. The place itself seemed like there's a few regulars. Nice customers, friendly service. Not one of those wanabe The Barbershop movie type of places where everyone is trying to be cooler than the next person. He was super great with my son who can be fidgety and made him really enjoy his haircut.
