When I first called to make an appt, Susan answered. She said that she could get my mom in within two weeks. Fast forward to today, my mom loves her hair short. We went inside and literally everyone said hello. I loved it. You look around and you feel so welcome and it is comfortable. My mom shared a picture of Jaime Lee Curtis, how she wanted her hair like hers. My mom is unable to get her hair washed as she can not lay backwards in the chair due to having stage 4 metastatic cancer in her spine. Susan said no problem. She wet her hair by using a water bottle. My moms hair cut does look like the picture and to that, thank you. My mom is so happy. She will be back and I will be making an appointment myself. I'm not sure about the other stylists but I know that Kasie messed up my hair. I showed her pictures and the results were totally different from what I expected. I got a gift card for my birthday, so yesterday was my first visit here.. Brandy, my stylist, was very friendly. I came in with a photo & got exactly what I wanted! I was sitting at home bored and wanted to get out and just trim my hair, so I didn't go to my stylist and decided to try this local place out. I called and made an appointment. When I got there, 10 minutes early, they said my appointment was scheduled at a later time, in 2 hours, so I waited, they took me about 20 minutes later. The girl that cut my hair was cute. From the inside it looked like it was a cute spot once, but now the carpets are so dirty, the chairs torn up, and it kinda smelled, but I still trusted the stylist. She did a trim, and I paid her. I've been going to this shop for years then COVID-19 hit they shut down, 2 months or more went by I called and left a message to see when there going to open never heard then tried to friend the owner Susan Crane never heard anything and I even drove by a couple of times well I guess they were open for a couple of weeks and we always got a long really well anyway I called when friend saw they were open well I couldn't get my stand in appointment witch was every Thursday she gave it to other people well that bothered me and I so when I said something she so she gave me appointment then called me and said you mite like going elsewhere It would have been nice to callher clients I really was shocked not a good way to treat there clients. As I was reading the reviews I was very amazed and wouldn't want people to get the wrong idea of this establishment. Thus the reason I felt the obligation to write my own review. Let me start off by saying I have been getting my haircut at Precision 6 for many years now. The stylists there are wonderful people and have always provided a great atmosphere for getting a haircut/style. They are very family orientated and for those that have been getting their hair done there for many years knows that. Now let me give you all a suggestion and comment briefly on some of the negative feelings some people left. #1 First and foremost, MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! With the amount of people that walk through the doors it is best to make an appointment. There is usually one or two stylist at all times that are available to take walk-ins at anytime. But why not just make an appointment and make it easier on you! For the person that stated they came in 7 minutes prior to closing time and expected to get their haircut, think about a few things. How would you feel if your boss came up to you and told you 7 minutes prior to you getting off work that you had to stay and work overtime. Some people have lives after they work. What if that stylist had an important APPOINTMENT to make it on time to after they get off of work? Let me end this review with one last comment. With the 1000's of people that walk through the doors of Precision 6, I'd come to the conclussion that 99.9% of the people there leave happy! Don't let 4 comments turn you away from getting a haircut/style at this well established place! Its been here for years and will be here for many years to come. read more

I've been coming here for YEARS. I initially went to see Tiffany but now I see Shannon. She is a fantastic hair stylist, honest, and really cares about your hair. Her pricing is reasonable and she is friendly and fun to talk to. I love coming to Precision to get my hair done! I'd suggest making an appointment instead of walking in, as they stay pretty busy. Typically I make an appointment with Shannon for a cut/color 1-2 weeks in advance because she books up quick, but there are other great stylists there, too! read more

I love this place and I have been going here for years. This salon like many other salons do take walk in's but for the most part all the girls have a full schedule so appointments are best. I have seen a couple of the girls there and each of them have been great with my hair. I have always put my full trust in them. Currently Shannon is doing my hair, and she is amazing. The prices at Precision are great, your not paying for the building or the name of the salon like other salons. Yes some of the decor might be older, but would you rather sit on a fancy chair and pay $100 more for your hair, or would you be willing to sit on a regular chair and pay $100 less. I have been going here for about 15 years. My daughters and I have had our hair done by most of the girls that work here. They ALWAYS do a great job. Never have I had a bad experience here and my hair is everything to me. The price is very fair and I am the mom of Crystal G below. my whole family comes here, I see Susan who has done an awesome job on my hair for years, even when I lost my hair from chemo treatments and it was coming back in. Linda does my mother-in-law and has for the past 4 years, every week. Shes washes, sets, colors and cuts her hair beautiful every time. Brandi has just come over from another salon where my "hubby" went to her before, and he is happy we can all go to the same place now. These gals are all wonderful women, they are like a family there and we love them. The shop is always clean, orderly, I have never smelled anything other than hair products, and I am very comfortable there. We would recommend this shop and any one of these gals to anyone, all ages, male or female. I have seen nothing but wonderful colors, cuts, styles on anyone who has come there. I use to go here but decided to go somewhere else because I felt like I wasn't being listened to. I felt the stylist(owner) was always rushing. Her mind was somewhere else. I ended up blonde rather then brown with highlights. I wanted a short style and before I was even asked she started thinning my hair out. I felt like she was in a race she was going so fast. Well today I was in a hurry! Just bought a home in Lathrop a few months back. So am new to this area. Got off work and rushed back to town to find my hair cut place was CLOSED! Darn it! So I drove on down and saw this place was OPEN and was happy to have found it. Door said closes at 4 so when I got to the door I still had 7 minutes untill 4 on my phone. Door was open walked in and two women that work there did not even look at me or say anything so I stood there while one lady was getting her hair Bleached. I jokingly said dang thank god I made it in enough time hahaha right? Kind of heavy set women with long black hair standing in the back holding up the counter looks up at me and says aww actually no sorry! I thought at first she was playing around so I stood there and then I kidna smiled and said so I just need a quick trim so she looks up at me again and say's oh yeah really we are closed already we close at 4! I said I understand that but it was 7 to 4 when I walked in she smile's looks at her watch and replies back with OH WELL ITS 3 MINUTES TILL RIGHT NOW! I said WOW really? You cant cut my hair its like 2 inch's long it'll take like 10 minutes. So obviously they dont want my buisness and they have horrible customer service. She said yeah well I have to be somewhere after 4 so sorry hope your day get's better. I could not believe it. I have walked into restaurants 10 20 minutes before closing and they always smile and seat you. If the door say's open untill 4 doesnt that mean 4???
