Fun place to be in Pearland. Most of the claw machines take 2 coins. The place is closer than the other claw places if you live in Pearland or just don't want to travel where the heavy traffic is in Bellaire. They also have karaoke which is pretty unique to this claw machine place. The stuffed animals are cute and the prizes are too. If you've never been to a place like this they give you a bag to collect stuffed animals from the claw machine and you pay for coins. Later you can then in the stuffed animals for prizes! The service was fine. I had no issues with the staff, they all seemed friendly. The only Reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because other claw machines places actually have an arcade portion where you can also play games. I did not try out the karaoke place but it will be fun with a group(not sure if they sell drinks or food but they should if they don't).

I've been to a lot of claw machine places, and this one was completely empty, which was a first to see. I really appreciated that because it wasn't overcrowded, and there was a lot of space to walk around. It isn't near a bustling area though, so makes sense why it wasn't busy. For $20 you get 22 coins, and a lot of the machines only require 1 coin to play, so it's pretty good value for the money. However, it felt like the claws weren't as sturdy as I've seen in other places, so the toys would be dropped almost immediately after being picked up. The person working behind the counter was super nice though and accommodating. She helped rearrange the toys to try and make it easier for us to get them.

With the assistance of the yelp app, we called bars and restaurants sitting in the Denny's off of Woodridge drinking regular coffee. Finally, a lovely young lady picked up the phone, "Cooter Brown's." We had to take detours because the highways were closed too. I already mentioned Texas was closed. Mind you yelp said it had two reviews. I told him, "You know they are probably the owner's friends." The parking lot was empty in the front. How did the bartender get here? When we walked in to my surprise there were a handful of folks all playing darts. They have a back entrance and that's the door the regulars use. Beer only dive bar, doesn't usually suit my fancy, but this one did. They had plenty of Smirnoff in several flavors. We played few rounds of pool and enjoyed plenty of cool music from the jukebox. Everyone there was friendly, even the dude who caused a ruckus and was banned from ever going back during her shift. (Talkative on his way in, but didn't say anything to us on his way out.) Michelle the bartender took great care of us, she was in a great mood for having to work on TX Ice-pocalypse 2017. Cheers to cold, I want to see you weather, and a FUTUREcast of the sniffles. Going out in that cold weather was not a bright idea *sneeze* but going to Cooter Brown's is...

Getting to this area from Pearland is much easier than heading into Houston so I was more than happy to come here. I've been here a couple of times and the most recent visit brought me and a party bus full of friends here on a Saturday night. The place gets busy but parking hasn't been an issue on any of my visits. It's a narrow bar that may seem tight, but it keeps going towards the back with more seating as well as a spacious patio. Customer service is always great and the bartenders know their stuff here. They have a pretty extensive drink menu here and there is something for everyone's preferences. They have a long list of cocktails and they can make you anything you want as well. The staff are experts here. They also have an impressive bourbon collections with about 200 kinds to choose from. Along with their cocktails, they have a long list of martinis. I love a good martini and here they have so many options. You can't go wrong with my favorite espresso martini, but the one that wowed me here was the Cucumber Patch. Cucumber flavor profile is not typically something I seek out, but I was in the mood for something refreshing and this was suggested to me. Get it and thank me later. As far as food goes, they have a separate BBQ business on site that sells some food. Don't sleep on the Bay Area if you are looking for a nice cocktail. This place will quickly be one of your favorites. I will surely be back.

I've driven by a countless number of times, and you'd never really know it's there. But walking in, you immediately get that local dive bar kinda vibe in the best way possible. I met up with some friends here for a chill drink after work, and to our surprise it was karaoke night! I have to applaud the regulars here because they can really SING! But don't be shy if you can't, they were welcome to everyone going up for a song. As far as drinks go, I had the Alimony. I was sold on it because it's gin, guava juice and elderflower liquor. Balanced, not too sweet, and had a little bit of sparkling effervescence. Pair that with a shot or a beer, and we were having a great time catching up with old friends. I don't remember our bartender's name, but she gave us great service. Overall 10/10 recommend the Davenport Lounge Clear Lake if you're looking for where the locals go, trust me they know best.

From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by an atmosphere that can only be described as "authentically aged." The lighting is exquisitely dim, clearly curated to enhance both mystery and forgiveness. The floors? A masterclass in texture--each step tells a story, and possibly sticks to your shoe just enough to ensure you don't forget it. The beverage program is... fearless. Why settle for an overcomplicated cocktail when you can enjoy a drink poured with confidence and a complete disregard for pretension? Ice is optional, vibes are mandatory. Service operates on a beautifully relaxed timeline, allowing guests to truly sit with their thoughts, reflect on life, and maybe make a new friend who insists they once "almost went pro." And the clientele--what a vibrant tapestry. A gathering of philosophers, storytellers, and karaoke visionaries, all contributing to an ambiance that no amount of interior design could ever replicate. In a world obsessed with polish and perfection, Cheers Pub stands tall as a monument to character, chaos, and charm. If you're looking for a place that trades white tablecloths for unforgettable memories (and possibly a mild hangover), look no further. Five stars. No notes. Would absolutely lose track of time here again.
