What an interesting place! We were looking for place to kill some energy and this was the perfect place. Upon entering we were greeted, paid ($25 for play, $5 arcade, slice of pizza, socks and a drink), stamped, and let in. The play space was jammed pack! Full of children and parents. All along the walls are large black chairs for parents to sit and watch their kids. I'm not gonna lie. This place is a lot and I wouldn't recommend this place to parents/ guardians younger than 4-5 y/o. It's hard for adults to see their kids unless they are in the "playground" with them. Usually love this place, great pricing and safe space to let your little ones play. I however was severely disappointed with the staff this afternoon (5/23/26 @4:00PM) As I would have hoped this staff was aware, they are working in an environment of children, small children to be specific. I watched a mother trying to aid her child who had just had an accident. (peed at the front steps of the first play area) This mother asked not one, but THREE staff members for either napkins or some sort of wipe to clean her child and the play area up. Why did the staff find it appropriate to stand behind the front desk giggling in this mother's face about her child peeing? Not only did they not help this mother get any form of paper towels, but they felt the need to also gossip about this to the other staff members that passed by... the only person I saw actually attempt to clean the area in a timely manner was a young man in a blue and red flannel. Luckily I had some baby wipes on me and was able to give these to the mother to clean her child up. I am severely disappointed with today's staff and I hope the manger at minimum speaks with them about their unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. read more

So we have been to The Play Space a few times and it's always been a lot of fun. If you are going into any of the play areas, you will need socks to enter. They also put a stamp on everyone in your party's hand to make sure no one is leaving with anyone not in their immediate party. It was fun when my youngest was under a year old because they have a whole baby section that is blocked off from the rest of the play areas. It's gated and they have an attendant there making sure it's only babies and not older kids. It's really nice because this way the babies don't get hurt by older kids. The rest of the play space is an absolute free-for-all. There are slides, a ball pit, climbing areas, padded things to play on, pretend play areas and even an arcade. My oldest is over coming here, it's not really for teenagers, and my preteen is almost done here too. My 6-year-old still loves coming here, though. It's not too pricey either which is great. It does get crazy busy on the weekends. I have found that the best time to come is first thing in the morning when they first open. read more

Our kid was invited to come here with a friend. I'm glad the other family stayed with them and we didn't have to. We're not big fans of loud, crowded, confined areas with a zillion kids. We personally only saw the interior from the lobby/front desk area. From that vantage point, it appeared that there were plenty of fun things to climb on/in/etc. we saw some chairs alongside the wall for parents. But that's about all we could see. Unfortunately my husband had to use the restroom and wasn't able to enter the play area. We get it, they don't want some "creep" coming in to prey on kids (which is a good safety measure we guess) BUT, our kid was in there and we were unable to enter. Want to say it was like $15 per kid but not 100% sure on the different level prices. This place is located in a crappy strip mall. I honestly I don't know if we'll ever return. read more

I have a baby who doesn't yet crawl but is working on it and a three year old. I was surprised to see that they start charging $15 at six months. The description on the website lead me to believe that they had an extensive baby area that could accommodate even babies that young so I paid it when I went in. Was super disappointed to see that the baby area was bare. No toys, just medium sized foam cubes and a ball pit. My son doesn't even crawl, and while on the website it specifically says that there are things for babies at that level to play with, that wasn't true. What is my son going to do with a foam cube as big as he is? Not only this, but no one over 18 months is allowed in there, so what am I supposed to do, let my three year-old boy go play by himself around the rest of the building while I just have my baby in a ball pit? It wouldn't make any sense unless two adults came, which I don't know how that's happening very often on a weekday. I approached the staff and explained I'm just having to carry my son around so I didn't feel good about paying that much and they were kind and did give me a free pass to bring my older boy next time. The rest of the place was super fun for my three-year-old with the fastest slides we have seen. He had the time of his life here. The slides are unmatched. He was busy the entire time we were there, only slowed down to get something from the snack bar. If you have older kids, I say this is a definite try. I also want to mention how clean it was in there. They were cleaning consistently the entire time we were there, washing the floors, vacuuming etc. The baby section of this place is a loss, but if that's not a concern for you, I say definitely go. read more

I am 6'1 and I had enough space to be able to climb and go through many different obstacles with my Wife and daughter. I've always dreamed of a place like this when I was younger and now it came to life. The Play Space was absolutely perfect for our 4 year old & 1 year old! If you have young children or babies, you'll love it. There were so many activities to entertain the kids for hours! I love that they stamp you & the kids at entry and actually verify the stamps when you leave. It's not a formality, they do verify. This made me feel far more confident letting my daughter play in the top area. Staff wore masks however guests were not required or recommended. I do wish it was recommended, as we had them on but I didn't make my daughter keep hers on when she asked why the other kids didn't have one. read more

This place is disgusting. I brought my 13 month old. They have an 18 month and under section. However, there is absolutely no monitoring by employees to ensure that kids and parents are following the age sections. A kid around 4 years old and his mother went in the 18 month and younger section when we stepped out for a minute. He then proceeded to puke in the ball pit. They did not go tell anyone so I did. They finally came to clean it up but at that point I left. I didn't want my baby around where this kid puked. We tried the 4 and under toddler area as well since she is walking, but again there were kids above that age limit running around and almost knocking her over. I blame the parents for not paying attention, but also the business should have more monitoring. What a waste of money. I will never go back. read more

FIRSTLY it's super safe. They won't let kids out with anyone unless the stamp matches the adult. Each family gets a different stamp. Second it's super fun. Took my nephew and we had a ball. He doesn't ever get to hang out with children so it was a wonderful experience for him. (Until it was time for diaper change) Third WE WILL BE BACK. I too had fun. The amount of unaccompanied toddlers running around this place was unacceptable, but on the flip side the amount of 7+ yr olds in the toddler area was crazy. No associate was monitoring that area the entire time i was there with my 3yr old, older kids destroying the whole area, taking all the props from the play sets so that the actual toddlers couldn't play with them. Other kids were jumping on arcade games and grabbing balls from inside them and dribbling them around. I saw a little girl who was at most 3, trying to mimic the older kid she saw climb in the arcade machine when he left. No parents around , but also no attendant to stop her until she was climbing down off of it. Then they finally went to go find her parents. Ive been to other jungle gyms and this one was one of the worst. Also it's advertised as big, it's nowhere as big as you might see on tiktok or Instagram. We most likely won't be back. read more

This place is great for kids. Toddlers. Phenomenal. I'm not cheap. I have no problem dropping a hundie or two for a little fun. However, this place is an absolute ripoff. I've been coming here for 4+ years pretty regularly. I sit here now. It's hot. All Kids are sweating. As usual of the limited little arcade 50+% of the games are broken. Galahad button stuck. 2 of three skee ball are broken. The one that does work only has three balls. The other two bowling games are broken. Every single time I come here half the games don't work. The air hockey table barely pushes enough air to move the puck. The attendant says the kids misplace the balls for skee ball. Or jam the machines. The place definitely turns a nice profit. There is no reason why they can't do a better job. I'll chalk it up to poor management. Gatti's has a much larger arcade and take pride in their stuff working for the most part. It's a shame because this place has potential. Come on play space. Quit being such a hot, half working rip off. The owner is full of bologna. His workers had hand fans. Regular fans. A girl (employee) in the back complained to me it was hot and I agreed with her. She said she would see what she could do. Galaga (button broken) didn't work. As well as half of the games. You see three in the picture I took. All five bowling games didn't work. There were three skee ball balls for three skee ball games that require 27 balls. The arcade is always a joke. They did turn down the a/c before we left. So by the time he responded it may have been 73 but it wasn't while we were there. Not malicious. I love the place. Why 5 stars? Because the kids could have been entertained here for hours. --- --- --- We take our son to a place like this in The Woodlands that he calls "inside park". He asks to go to inside park approximately 28 times per week. This inside park is much larger than the one we usually visit. The only downside to this one is that you can certainly lose you kid much easier. While I wasn't ever worried about him because the entire place felt very safe for him, I did want to ideally know where he was and it wasn't too easy once he got into the tubes. A couple of times he ended up being found on the opposite end of the facility. But aside from that, this was a great place to hang out for a couple of hours. For parents with kids who are a bit older, there is a giant wall that is lined with really comfortable, leather recliners. Many parents were taking advantage of these. For the kids, as mentioned, there are so many things for them to do that they can get lost. Lots of tunnels and climbing paths and slides are all over the place. There are also a few arcade games and even a fenced-in area for those 18 months and under. One of the best parts is that there is a cafeteria here, so we were able to eat lunch here and then lets the kids go back and play more. We will definitely make the trip over here again when visiting family in Friendswood. Our son could not have loved it more and asked for it all day the next day. read more

So I'm loving this place!! Upon entry u fill out ur waiver, or do it ahead of time at home and then give them ur name when you arrive and they can pull it up. (Best way) Then you and your children need to either have the slip resistant socks or purchase a pair. They do not allow any shoes on the surface so there are cubbies to leave them. They also give u the invisible stamp to match your children for security measures upon entry or exit which is great. Parents can sit back and let the kids run free in the playground. Once they tire of that there is a cafe and a game zone towards the back. $5-$10 is plenty ... $5 loads the card with 1000 coins .. depending on the games they play will depend on how long it will last. The cafe is reasonably priced and you can order an entire pizza if u must. All items on the menu are under $6 but not sure about the pizza bc they don't have it listed. They also sale beer (craft beer also) and wine. They have the coke machines for refills and soda selections. Restrooms are kid friendly, family friendly, clean and wash stations located outside bathroom for kids at kid levels as well. Pretty awesome place .. I visited the play area today. I have been to this play area SEVERAL times before COVID. Matter of fact - I followed their journey as they were building and opening. I also traveled 45 minutes to come here because in my opinion it was better than others in Houston. Today I arrived; it appeared more expensive but no worries. It's business prices go up! I knew to have my grip socks because I have been to the play area and I looked at the website prior to arriving. Once we arrived the hunt for a seat/ booth something to put diaper bags, shoes etc.. was on. No luck so the parents were on a "watch belongings" shift! Went to the 4 and under play area and played with the foam blocks then the connect 4. After that we proceed to the imaginary play portion. I noticed there were no food for imaginary play. No food for the grocery basket shopping, no food for the kids to pretend check out at the grocery store and no food for the restaurant.- I take that back I used no food to loosely. ( there was a potato, red and yellow peppers maybe 2 each) and a broccoli. Let's give them any credit we can! I asked the worker In the area by the name of Megan what happened to the products for imaginary plan. She stated, kids bite on the items, they become damaged and get thrown out, kids leave out with the items so they get lost around the building. I asked if any would be coming today she said no she didn't think as it's been a while without the items. I proceed to see my kiddo pushing an empty grocery basket around the 4 and under area. I then begin to speak with my husband to determine if I'm going over board with expectation or if my expectations should be fulfilled as the imaginary play is advertised with imaginary play products( I didn't see a sold separately fine line). I then proceed to to inquire with the front about a manager. Amber arrived. Amber began apologizing for older children being in the area before I finish my sentence about my concerns. (There were no older children in the area ).- not my concern thanks anyway Amber. I tell her my concerns she walks to a table in the back of the front desk and holds two boxes with "imaginary play" items. Then proceeds to say the items get lost, kids bite etc... she said she would check the office for more items. She brings the box to Megan in the 4 and under area and Megan begins disinfecting the items with Clorox wipes. The box consisted of roughly a total of 30 items. Salt and pepper shakers, ice cream, sprinkles, ice cream syrup toppings and some ice cream scooper. That's all. The 4 and under is packed surely that's not enough for the kids to enjoy. Still not items for the market. She (Amber) said the other items for the play area was in the mail. Uh, not my issue I'm not the business; I'm the customer. I didn't need that information. (Save that for the team meeting) I speak with Amber asking for a refund for my family (1 kid) and the family I was with (1 kid) for the 4 and under area only (as I also paid for older kids) they were enjoying themselves! She said she will check when I arrived to The Play Space to determine if she can refund me. She comes back and says because I've been here 45 minutes she couldn't refund. I informed her everything that happened prior (read above) to meeting her. I inquired with her if the 45 minutes was in their policy as I proceeded to check their website. She stated no. I attempted to get a better understanding however she declined and said she would give me the owners contact information and I could email him. ( I think Amber had enough of me and my desires to be a customer with the full experience at this point) So here I am. Hi, Mr. Brandon (owner) this review is for you. But this review it's long, my reality and they (establishment) may not care. BUT one thing that is true. Despite the lack of, the place was packed. However, as a parent it's simply solely because parents are desperate. It was raining and a holiday weekend. Kids need an outlet to play and why not have it at 'The Play Space' Kids adjust and will play with paper if that's all you have! But as a customer I expected 'The Play Space' to provide what they advertised and they didn't regarding the 4 and under area. I would be open to returning because like I said above I described this place as better than the "competition " in Houston. An understanding business person (manager- Amber) would've at least tried to get me back in the door by stating. "I apologize next time your play is on us". Uhhh something! Makes me feel heard, understood and perceived as a valued customer plus I'm coming back automatically! Amber had a professional tune. I guess she tried to help me however it wasn't good enough. I did see her walking around sweeping (Thanks that is important too ) No concerns with Megan she was doing her job (from what I observed) as expected! Thank you. We've been coming here for a few years with the kids, and have always had a great time. The kids have a blast, we can sit back and relax. Since many of their classmates have had birthday parties here, our son wanted to have his here last weekend, and I have to say a huge thank you to the staff that made his party so successful! Cameron our event coordinator was so calm and accommodating, and really gave a huge amount of comfort in what could have easily been absolute chaos with 20 kids mostly around 5 years old. I really wasn't expecting this place to be what it is. I paid 30 something for my 7 and 9 year old plus 2 pairs of grip socks because although we have at-least 10 pairs I somehow didn't plan on coming here.. eh the more the better lol it's a school night I guess so it was less crowded, I can't speak on weekends or breaks so beware. It seems like a huge place that would get massively packed. It's CLEAN, we had 1 issue with the bowling game it took my girls credit but no balls, the woman helped was super sweet and fixed it. I saw someone had an issue with the air table, I kind of see her point, it's not a heavy air presence like others we have played on but it still worked the same , not a huge deal, all the games were working and well cleaned. I love their card system, no tickets or coins to hold, I do see some cosmetic damages but nothing absolutely crazy and horrible. Could use some new mats in the 4 and under, but I mean kids are rough and honestly have no respect for public play places like this and tear things up and parents don't do anything because "it's not mine" The gym itself is massive. Like, massive areas to explore, and my girls loved that. The 4 year and under area is freaking dope! It has mini stores, not to many little toys as I'm sure kids have destroyed them. Pretend play is great which kids don't get to do all that often anymore .Food concession seems priced at what our inflation is right now which is appropriate, pricy but appropriate. I did have the pretzel and queso , I wasn't a fan of the queso it was watery, and had a odd taste to it. Not a fan. The pretzel is the same one we use to order from Sysco back home and I love them lmao so I'll it alone haha that queso needs some changes tho, Ohhh the chairs , the ones that recline ?!? Uh yah, that's worth my money I brought my kids to play, I'm here to chill I don't drink but they do serve various alcoholic beverages that most prefer , what I like is their 2 drink limit or 1 per customer? I can't remember either way, it's a dope policy to have, I hope it's enforced, I can only imagine the parents who uh take it to far, but yah it's a great place. Throughout our stay we saw Megan cleaning and sanitizing the while play area CONSTANTLY and thoroughly. So we were sure that the place was clean. This place is great for kids and they have comfy chairs throughout for adults. Our 5 year old didn't want to leave, and our 7 month old had fun in the 18 mo. and under section. This is my second time here and we (again) had a blast. It is well worth the affordable admission and my kids stay entertained ALL DAY! Their food is great and so convenient to eat in the dining area. The tables and play space are all immaculate and even in Covid-times we feel it is a safe place! Today one of my toddlers had an accident and the staff had already cleaned it before he made his way to me. Another parent kindly gave us a spare pair of pants too! I was so blown away by her generosity that I asked to buy her a free pass to come back but the manager gave it to me for free. The customer service and environment is exceptional. We've been here a couple of times before & decided to use them for our toddlers birthday & i am in love & impressed with their communication, organization, friendliness, helpfulness, & cleanliness. Tres was the one who assisted us with the party & he is AMAZING! His customer service went beyond my expectations. He was so kind & helpful; he had a smile on his face the entire time & really helped take the load off with all the chaos i felt around me dealing with the party. He hung up our decorations, served our guests, & helped load the gifts & accessories in our truck. I highly recommend asking for him if you decide to have your party at this establishment. Normally, I have a nice experience here. However today has not been. I asked the girls name and they said they didn't know. She was new. It's a Wednesday afternoon and I am here with my grandson for a couple of hours. Of course he's already had pizza and his ice cream and a drink since he is all about the food. LOL ! Well, he comes to me for a drink so I go outside and get my cup of water to offer him. The blonde girl working tells me I have to leave with the drink. There are no outside food or drinks welcome. I pointed out to her another lady who had a cup but she didn't do anything about it. I took my grandson out and let him have drinks from my cup and took it back to the car. When coming in a family was coming in and the kid had a drink cup. I told her smart Ellie how she needs to get that cup as well. She didn't of course. She let the kid in with the cup full of juice. I understand if that is a rule but if you're gonna make one person abide by it, make everyone. I already purchased a drink once. I wasn't gonna purchase another one.
