It's shameful for someone with such a background to use his voice to curse a small business owner who is simply trying to earn a living. Is it really appropriate to make such hurtful statements? From my understanding of the jewelry market, buyback prices are typically lower than the market rate due to various costs. I simply asked about the buyback price for a ring and was offered around 20% of the original price, which is completely normal in the industry. Carol runs this shop by herself, and she deserves support, not disparagement. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and there's even an adorable, chubby dog that made my visit even more pleasant. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this store for its honest service and fair pricing! I also wish them continued success in her business!

I always worked with the designers in NYC and NJ, so I decided to give a local business a try at getting my business that can be quite lucrative over time. I went in to get an estimate to have some earrings made and the salesclerk must have gotten insulted when I asking if the designer was in to give me a quote. She said she was giving me the quote, which was overpriced because I saw what the gold baskets cost for the size of my stones in the book she looked up. When she wrote up the prices, I told her flat out it was way too much. I brought in pieces that I had made recently in NJ, with a lot of weight in the gold ring, pendant, and earrings. I told her what I paid for each piece which was at least 40% less than what she wanted to charge! She told me I should go back to NJ and have them made there. THEN she had the nerve to complain to another clerk behind the counter that she "practiced restrained patience" with me. WOW! Great customer service! She should have waited until I was out of earshot or left the store before she complained. She should consider retiring or not be front facing with customers, she is not good for business. Well, I'm the one that wasted my time and energy trying to give them my business. So now, she has a negative review that will remain on the internet for all to see. P.S. I have never left a negative review before for any type of business, but she definitely deserves this one. Try any other jeweler in the Melbourne, Rockledge area, this one is not worth spending your money at.

I went in and noticed the ring was gone, so I asked if someone bought it. the first answer from Phil (the store manager). he said yes, then changed his answer to, that "it was put up for scrap". that he could not bring it out for me to buy. indicating it was put up this morning and was still there. How is this good business? I am certain I'd have paid more for it than scrap. you tell me, how is this honest practice? SHOP some where else and be sure of what your buying. earlier last month at this location, I was almost sold a 14k white gold band that was not what they were selling it as. the magnet test proved that.
