This person literally tried to take advantage of my 70 year old mother, who is an immigrant, so her knowledge of the court was very minimal, including her English. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, my mother became executor of a will and needed to probate some accounts. She happened to see his ad in the papers, and she entered what would be one of the most stressful periods of her life. This "lawyer" would literally berate her telling her she knows nothing, and string her along for months, accruing and prolonging his fee. In some ways, I feel like he is also a misogynist, because he had the audacity to ask why her husband was not made the executor - it really is none of his business. If she was made the executor, that's all you need to know. At one point, when trying to calculate all the funds, he started to reprimand my mother thinking she was stealing/hiding money from the accounts, when in actuality, the missing money were fees being paid to him - it was my mother who pointed this out to the is "brilliant lawyer". Thankfully, my mom sought out a second opinion, and honestly, the other lawyers were just as confused as my mother as to why this "lawyer" was dragging the process on for so long, when the it could have been done and over with so much more efficiently. My mother finally had enough, and in her courage, spoke out against him, threatening to report him to the boards. He smugly told her to do so, as the most the boards would punish him would be "misconduct." Honestly, this told me he knew what he was doing was wrong. He thought he could string this older lady along, to squeeze as much money out of her as much as possible, and bully her. She even threatened to boycott outside his office, to ensure that no one would use him. After my mother finally spoke up, guess what happened? He finally finished the process. My mother is a kind soul, and she just had to endure a difficult experience that no mother should have to go through. This "lawyer" only added more to the stress. The moment he saw how much were in the accounts, his demeanor changed. With his money grubbing hands, he hoped to take as much as he could, but little did he know, my mom was not to be trifle with. She may seem to know nothing, but she is very intelligent and catches onto things fairly quickly. Her only regret is that wished that she had never call the number on the ad. Use with caution or avoid all together and save yourself a headache. He's very lucky that everything is settled now, because if my mother was still in the midst of probating, we would have definitely filed a complaint against him to the boards. We're just happy this nightmare is over.

(she never offered to come to my location to help me, either) Instead, she had the receptionist, a college type youth, do the intake forms. After signing the paperwork with her office, I was given no instructions and received no medical assistance, guidance, referrals or help from the young man or herself. Weeks and Months went by as I waited for her to help me after this life altering and dangerous accident and injuries. she dumped me and the case, after never having met or evaluated me, never giving proper professional guidance or much needed help from the accident. She was derelict. I was appalled, in disbelief and also disabled. She let me sit and rot in pain, blood, and fracture forever. She never did anything to help me with my accident, but instead, did the above to me. At one point, she had the Wikipedia page threatening my arrest and to put me in jail, for that review. (it's still up there) Yes, she did. This is who this person is. (she had to have it removed, fearing being sued for breaking the law& constitution) LOL! I did not know at the time, as I had been in a brutal accident and wasn't thinking clearly with a head injury & pain, injuries felt to this day, that 5-star ratings can be faked. So, as a community service, out of social obligation, I shared my disappointing, cruel experience with the yelp community, hoping to protect others. She raged, threatened, sued me, and got away with it based on complete bs & fraud, and then also tried to sue yelp.com. LOL! She lost the case of course & has tried relentlessly, spent untold amounts of money to keep fighting it. Yelp and their attorneys never thought the review was libelous or defamatory and thus left it up. She deservedly received a review based on her efforts, professionalism, and performance and there was never anything defamatory or libelous and the facts were even toned down. That was obvious to everyone. Dawn Hassell tried cover up her egregious actions, in any way that she could, but she isn't a good attorney anyway, so she never succeeded. 5-star reviews are bought. She does not even know law basics. She does not know about the 1st Amendment & attempted and publicized putting me in jail, over that little review! She violated the constitution/ law by threatening to arrest me and prevent me from talking about her. LOL! She doesn't even know about American law yet lists herself as a 5-star super lawyer! LOL!
