Amazing overall experience with Read Klos at Klos Diamond Center! I don't usually write reviews for things, unless they're really bad experiences with places or items, but not this time. I'm a newly engaged man in my 30's and having never purchased any jewelry before. Naturally I reach out to my family and my Step-Dad was quick to say "Go see Read. He'll take care of you." Read has been my Step-Dad's jeweler for years so I knew who he was but had never dealt with him first hand. He definitely took care of me to say the least! From the moment I walked in Read and his staff were extremely helpful, had a great selection to look at, listened to what I was looking for and what my budget was, were extremely patient, and helped me find "the ring" that has had people asking my Fiancée where I got that beautiful ring from! Now keep in mind that I had actually picked out two different rings and due to certain circumstances had to change my mind twice before finding "the ring"! The response from Read was always the same, "hey that's fine, not a problem, now let's find the one!" After that Read, knowing what I was looking for based on our conversations, found exactly what I was looking for in a ring and then found a great deal on a beautiful diamond in the parameters I wanted and in my budget! And did I mention he did it quickly!!! His communication with me the entire time was quick and easy and constant between the phone calls, texts, and emails. The customer service didn't stop after the purchase though. He set up a wonderful, private, jewelry soirée for my Fiancée and her friends which they thoroughly enjoyed!! Next, when she went to go get the ring sized, her Facebook post read "When you walk in to have your ring sized and your jeweler greets you by name and offers you wine. He gets me." The fact that he takes care of my Lady when I'm not there, speaks volumes and is greatly appreciated!!! I will say that when I purchased jewelry here, I had a normal buying experience. However, the owner has no problem being VERY rude to customers. I dropped some rings off (purchased there originally) to have diamonds put back in that had fallen out. 3 weeks later, I had to call to check on them as I never received a call like I was told I would. When I said that I hadn't heard anything, he proceeded to tell me they had "called multiple times" and that my jewelry was ready for pick up. Okay, that's fine. I can let that go. I then got a call back 2 min. later because my jewelry had been "put in the repaired box" by another employee and never actually sent off for repair. The owner insincerely apologized while laughing it off. To be honest, I was not nice. I was pissed that no one had checked that box although he had previously claimed to have attempted to call me. Calls which I never received. After I got quite irritated, HE proceeded to get mad at ME raising his voice saying, "I SAID I WAS SORRY!". When HE had made me mistake. I'm sorry, but I have every right to be irritated as a customer after they'd had my jewelry for 3 weeks for nothing. An insincere apology is not good enough. At least say "I'll send this off ASAP and have it back in x days." and sound like you mean it. Keep track of your customers!! read more

My fiancé purchased my engagement ring from Klos, and he LOVED the experience. Not only was the owner extremely knowledgeable and helpful, he was friendly and made us feel like we weren't just "another customer". When I had to get it resized, he got it done quickly so I wouldn't be without it for long! I have had nothing but positive experiences every time I have gone to Klos Diamond Center. My first experience was engagement ring shopping and as soon as you walk in the door as well they offer you a drink or something to help make you feel more comfortable. Read (the owner) took the time to explain everything about settings to all the different types of errors you can have with a diamond. Very informative and not pushy. If you have ever been ring shopping, being at a place where a salesman isn't trying to shove anything they have down your throat is a major relief. After leaving here thinking about a ring I went to 3 or four other places, all of which I had a bad experience with the pushing of their products. I came back here, and purchased the ring. I also bought my wedding band here, same experience. On another occasion, I purchased my wife pearl earrings, once again, nothing but great customer service and a friendly face when you walk in. Sometime a year later or so, the glue on one of the earrings broke and the pearl fell out. Luckily we found it and brought it into Klos for repairs, he took care of it within the week, and if memory serves me correctly, didn't charge me for it. I have recommended him to my brothers and all of my friends, some of who have also had similar positive experiences here. All in all, when I need to go somewhere for nice jewelry, this is the first place on my list. read more
