The 3 others met us at our home and listened to our ideas and took measurements of the areas to be landscaped. Within a week we received quotes from two of the other companies that just parroted back our ideas without any design drawings or detail. The third company jerked us around for 3 additional weeks before telling us they were too busy and gave us a baseless and wildly expensive "estimate" for next year. In contrast, Josie Blumenthal from Faltz came to our house twice to sketch the area, take dimensions and develop our design ideas. On the 2nd trip she took aerial photos with a drone and prepared a concept design based upon our ideas. At our third meeting, Ben Brown, Faltz Landscape Architect, who was mentoring Josie, joined the Team and proposed some new design concepts that we liked a lot. We signed a contract and within a week the Faltz crew was on site. The 3-man crew were experienced, polite and professional. Most of the time while the work was in progress, either Josie, Ben or both were on site, assuring the work was in conformance with the plan. At the end of every workday, the crew cleaned our yard and driveway. Three days later the work was complete. The final product far exceeded our expectations, and we are very happy with the entire Faltz Team, especially Ben and Josie. We felt that Faltz provided a superior product and good value. We'd highly recommend Faltz for your landscape needs.

She told me the guy was done and that there were no notes in my booking of my request or even a request to have him call me before he came out. That she'd make a note of it for next year. They made it like I was MY fault and were not considering anything to make it right. Small issue, not made right and because of it, I will not use them again.

When researching landscapers to fix the issue I found out that they do landscaping as well. I called to have them give an estimate for fixing the issue, and we could work something out. They said I needed to pay my last bill before they would even do an estimate. I explained that I had to have D-1 Delivered to stop the flooding that costs more then the final bill. I also explained that the first estimate to fix the grassy area was 1,200. So I will not be paying them unless they can work something out with fixing the issue. They called me today and threatened me on the phone (calling my husband's chain of command and taking me to court). She was extremely unprofessional and told me "If I had gotten off my Butt and cleared my own snow , "Like your husband told you to." then I wouldn't be in this predicament. I would like to ask that my friends choose not to use the services of Plow Kingz.

Jim Foss came out to do a "limited inspection" for us within 12 days after the November 30…read moreearthquake--a time when the inspectors were in high demand and very difficult to schedule. He prioritized visiting us, especially after hearing how fearful I was that our partly collapsed chimney might threaten the structural integrity of the house. The limited inspection was an affordable alternative that didn't take very much time, provided some reassurances, and provided a good starting point for later measures. He even popped his head into the attic space, which is something I don't think any inspector has done since. Despite the fact that this was a limited inspection, Jim takes his responsibility so seriously that when I had some follow-up questions a couple months later, he came out again to review the items I'd asked about, gave me some additional information to clarify his notes, and then refused to take any additional payment for doing so. He is competent, easy to work with, and inspires confidence with his depth of knowledge.
