On the website the store opens at 10 on Saturdays however when I arrived at 11:45 it was still closed. A few minutes later I saw the lights turn on. When I came inside and asked if they were open, the associate said "sort of", she said that she was "double parked outside" and she commutes from "far away". Her unwelcoming attitude made me realize I might as well go to Saks for a few bras then give them any business which is unfortunate when you want to support small businesses. read more

After so many failed attempts to buy on line with a challenging size and shape I had just about given up. This store on Beacon Hill was recommended by another bra shop outside the US- and I am so glad that I tried it. Kathy Guerrero was the bra fitter that day and as fate would have it she had a long career at Lady Grace. That was the best fitting experience ever. I had a great experience at this store. I came in on a whim when I saw the "free bra fitting" sign outside, and was very happy I did. Catelyn was a great help with measuring me and then suggesting bras. All of the ones she brought me fit. I ended up buying three of them! They were pricey but I think it was money well spent. In fact, someone at my gym has one just like one I bought, and she says it has held up well for two years! I had been wearing bras that were not very cute, thinking that because of my age and build, that was what I had to wear. I am so happy to find pretty bras that give me the support I need! read more

Lots of choices for E+ cup ladies. I always have trouble finding bras in my size, which is 32GG or 32H. I got a tip about this place from a girl at my gym who is built like me on top. She and I were both drying off after showering and we kind of giggled as we were both spinning bras around at the same time and trying to stuff the old hooters into what looked like nearly identical bras. I asked her where she bought hers and it was the same shop where I bought mine. Obviously we both have the same problem getting bras that fit. Then she told me about another place that she goes to called KM Hudson, which has a big selection of large cup bras with small band sizes. I sought it out and was really happy to find so much that fit, and didn't look like some industrial engineering project. I bought several different styles in more than 1 color. I had my first trip to KM Hudson recently, and left with the most expensive bra I've ever seen, but it fit perfectly and I'm very excited for it. I was disappointed by the selection of bras for my size. While there were many bras (impressive given my large bra size) they were almost all from the same line, which was disappointing. The person who was fitting me was telling me that everything I tried on fit me well, even when it clearly didn't. I've had maybe half a dozen bra fittings, and I don't appreciate someone trying to sell me an expensive bra that doesn't fit. BUT she did bring me a large selection of bras and she did devote a lot of attention to me, and when she finally brought out the last bra ($200, more than any other she had shown me) and it genuinely fit perfectly, I was very happy. I have had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life and I haven't actually been able to interact with anyone from this company. I am in need of new bras and first reached out to KM Hudson about two weeks ago to schedule a fitting. I never received a response- checked my SPAM like the website instructs. I tried calling during business hours and no one answered so I left a voicemail with my contact info. No response. I tried calling several other times at different times thinking I may just be missing them- no one ever answered. I tried resubmitting my inquiry, still no response. I finally went to the store front today at 3 thinking I'd just catch them in person but the store was locked even though the paper on the door with their store hours said they would be open at this day and time. You have lost my business and I will actively turn people away from you who are looking for your products. read more

Although they have zIllion bras and took the time to fit me, unfortunately none of them were comfortable. No complaints there. The problem is the THREE times I had to go exchange them because they were NOT OPEN during their listed open hours. This was in the middle of their hours. Buyer beware! I had a very bad experience at their Mashpee store and could not get satisfaction. My daughter ordered some bras through the store and was told they would be in within a couple of weeks. After a month I called the store to see if they had arrived and was told they hadn't. Another month went by and when I called they couldn't find any record of an order being placed and promised the owner would call me back. I never received a call. After waiting a few more weeks I bought the bras elsewhere. Finally after three months they called and said the bras were in. I told them I no longer wanted them as it had taken so long. On my next bank statement I notice they had charged me for the bras without notifying me! I went in to complain but she refused to give me my money back since it was a "special order." I would NEVER do business there again. read more

The bras this store has are nice, but, unfortunately, it's just a hassle to shop there. My boyfriend gave me a gift certificate to this store in January and I've since tried seven times to redeem it before I was able to. The first several times, the store was closed at seemingly random times in the middle of the day. One time I rushed over after work, only to get an employee who said she couldn't do fittings (and seemed to just want to get the store closed for the day). Finally, on my eighth attempt, I unloaded the gift certificate. In any case, even if I hadn't found something to spend the gift certificate on, I wouldn't have gone back because the gift certificate wasn't worth this hassle. It's hard to find things in the store, and the selection is limited, so that's inconvenient, too. Also, the owner kept mentioning the price of everything she showed me, apparently under the assumption that money was my primary concern. But the shopping experience was more important to me. My boyfriend was a little bummed, too, that something he intended as a small treat turned into a big chore. I'm just glad it's off my to-do list. read more

I had a very uncomfortable fitting experience at this store. I was walking with friends along Charles St and am in the market for new bras so figured I'd pop in. When the sales associate offered to do a free fitting I accepted, though clear I was very short on time. At first when she asked my sizes I gave her the range (everywhere tells me differently!). She then measured and went to get her manager for assistance after what I was saying my sizes were didn't match her measurements. This is fine, I respect 2nd opinions, however after the manager measured me and left to find options, I could hear the two sales associates bickering about condescending one another. This was uncomfortable to hear from the dressing room. She then brought a few options and I tried on some but needed to go as I had a reservation. Once she left the fitting room after I shared I would likely come back, my friends who were in the store heard her express to the other associate that she was "frustrated people just come in". Bra shopping should be a comfortable and empowering experience. I did not feel welcome and felt uncomfortable by the attitudes of the associates. read more

This store is it! I am not easy to fit and Kate knew from one look exactly what size and style I needed. I have never felt more confident in my clothes as a result of FINALLY finding the right fit. The size she put me in was shockingly different than what I had been wearing but it WORKS! I finally have shape and lift and don't feel like I need to constantly adjust my bra fit. The bras are not cheap -- but if you take care of them they will last and you will always feel special when you put them on. To me, worth every penny. Went in one afternoon to check the place out - the women I spoke with was so welcoming,(I think she was the CEO?) so I knew it wouldn't be an intimidating experience. I called later and made an appointment. The women who helped me was the store manager and she was very, very knowledgable. It is a very intimate thing to have a bra fitting, and she made me feel very comfortable. Completely delightful to work with and wonderful, old school customer service. Yes, the bras are pricey but they are excellent, it's something I wear every day! I bought a few, so I"m set for a while. Will definitely return in a year or so when these are worn out. I happened upon this store while walking down Charles Street. The sales help was very nice and I had a bra fitting and purchased the most comfortable and most expensive bra I have ever owned. I wore this bra three times when the wire popped out. I immediately called the store and explained the situation. I was told to take pictures of bra and email them to the store. I took the pictures and emailed them that evening. When I did not receive, a response form the store I sent a second email inquiring about the next step. I was told the manager would be in touch. When two more days went by with no contact from the store I called again. This time I was told to bring the bra back into the store and the store would mail it to the manufacturer. I explained that coming into Boston was not especially coinvent and asked if I could mail the bra to the manufacturer. The answer was no. So, the option I have is to mail the bra to the store and they will mail it to the manufacturer. I an upset that the store is not honoring the product they sold. I don't disagree that they should contact the manufacturer but as a customer I should not be put in the middle. All I wanted was for the bra to be replaced. I am left with the impression that the customer does not matter. Very disappointing. read more

I'm so glad I stopped by this place. The store isn't completely put together yet but as Katherine, the owner of her eponymous store, says, she has 6000 bras. I can't imagine not finding a bra you'd like from that selection. Katherine herself is incredibly sweet and extremely knowledgeable. I've never felt so comfortable trying on bras before and she is amazing. She gave me a fitting and knew instantly that I was wearing the wrong size. I'd always thought this may be the case as none of my bras ever felt completely right. She kept handing bras in through the door and voila, I found a strapless bra that I could jump around in and the girls (you know which girls) were completely happy. No popping out, no bra falling askew or slipping down. Perfecto. Really cute selection too. I'm telling you, forget Victoria's Secrets, you've got to come to get a real consultation and fitting. I was so happy I came right home to write this review. I am going to go so far as to say this was a life changing event. I'm not one to invest a lot of money in lingerie but I'm officially addicted. I popped in recently just to see what they had in the store with no hopes of finding something for my harder to fit figure. Katherine immediately showed me where to browse for things to try then took over by fitting me and pulling one option after another until we had narrowed my selection down to a handful. She made trying on bras fun and easy rather than the hassle that it usually is at department stores that are staffed by uninterested and underpaid workers. You can tell that she takes pride in her business and it really shows. The interior is very classy and understated albeit unfinished with dark wood and perfect lighting. I was shocked to learn that she did the construction her self! I was only able to leave with one of my choices today, but to make this experience even better I found out that they keep a customer profile with your faves so that you don't have to spend hours trying on every time. Genius! Going back in a couple weeks to pick up more goodies and bringing a friend. Every girl needs a lingerie shop like this! read more

I cannot believe this place is still in business. I shopped at the store on the Cape and Katherine couldn't have been nicer...when I was making a purchase. They didn't have anything for me in stock, but I purchased 5 bras and they said that they would ship them directly to me. After months of not receiving anything, I called numerous times. Nothing. Finally, I had to threaten to take them to small claims court and they sent me 3 of the 5 bras I paid for. I went to KM Hudson for the first time yesterday. The selection was the best I have seen . The staff were extremely service oriented, very knowledgeable and solicitous of our needs. The purchases we made fit us perfectly! It as the first time ever that the experience was not discouraging or disappointing. The prices were in a varied range and we selected what we loved . Even if what we chose were pricey items there were others that were not as expensive. The merchandise was the best I have ever seen: gorgeous colors, patterns, styles and sizes for everyone!!! I will never wear the wrong sized or ill fitting bras again. For the runners out there like me they have great sports bras too and sleepwear. I am sold on KM Hudson for life!!! Unfortnately, I am giving this store a poor rating due to poor customer service. My husband bought me an expensive gift at one of the km Hudson stores and was not informed that once an item is purchased, it cannot be returned for reimbursement. There is no sign and no verbal warning to customers that once purchased, items can only be returned for credit. My husband tried to return the gift (which did not fit) within 24 hours and was told he could not get his money back($300). When I tried to redeem the credit, I was faced with uncooperative employees. Although this store is in the process of closing, the owner would not honor the credit in any of her other stores forcing me to buy last year's merchandise. This rigid mineset of small businesses is what causes them to fold. I would never purchase anything from this business ever again! read more

I stopped in one day and had a great experience with the woman who was working. She was attentive and helpful but recommended that I make an appointment with the owner because of the difficulty that she had finding a bra that fit me. After receiving a gift card to the store, I called 3 times to schedule a fitting, left messages each time but never got a call back. Finally, someone answered my call and I scheduled an appointment with the owner. The woman who scheduled the appointment informed me that the owner would call me to discuss my bra size and preference the day before the fitting so she could be prepared when I arrived. Rather than receiving a call, I got an email with a google calendar appointment confirmation. I took the train in the snow for my 1:00 appointment but the store was closed when I arrived. I called Katherine, the owner, and the Mashpee store numerous times but got no answer. At 1:45 a woman in the Mashpee store answered the phone. When I told her that I had an appointment and that the hours posted on the door indicated that the store should be open, she did not apologize and told me she would call the owner and get back to me. An hour later I still had not heard from her so I called again and was informed that Katherine (who I had an appointment with) would call me. Rather than calling me, she emailed me to let me know that she had thought the appointment was the following week. She was unapologetic made no attempt to reschedule. Considering the difficulty I had along with the other negative reviews, I do not think the store is worth the hassle. read more

What a great experience. I was visiting my best friend for the weekend and we were out walking and happened upon KM Hudson. Katherine and Emily were so helpful and made the experience less painful. I must have tried on 50 bras to find 3 that were fantastic and a bathing suit (I have a 2.5 year old son and don't own a single bathing suit I feel comfortable in - goodness knows my bikinis from my honeymoon 6.5 years ago won't do). I definitely spent more money then I'd anticipated, but I'm in bras that fit beautifully and I know they'll keep them on file if I want to replace them when they wear out. My friend even decided to get fitted and she found a new bra she loved too. Katherine even said if I'm elsewhere (I don't live in Boston) and have questions about a brand or size to call her - she's happy to give me her opinion. With 6000 bras in stock she knows her stuff!
