We booked catering for an engagemento party for 50 people. Guillermo is very nice and explains the whole process. The confirmation process is a bit different because it is an "event" instead of an invoice? Let's get to the party day! The lady (sorry, I am terrible with names), I believe her name was Kenya, came on time and began setting up. Once she set everything up, she discovered there was a problem with her grill. She had to get a replacement hose or grill. We tried prying our gas line off our grill, but that did not work. So she had to put the food away and get a replacement. Of course, this changed our dinner time. This is the reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. Since they are only actively serving for one hour, (I believe it was $120 or so more for an extra hour) this created an issue. We asked everyone to be there by 6pm for dinner. We had a snocone truck booked for after dinner (it was supposed to be 98 degress that evening) who then graciously waited around the corner while we had dinner. Once everything was set up and going, it was fabulous. The meats were delicious, and the condiments fresh and plentiful. There were sides of beans & rice. Everything needed for the tacos was provided, which made it easy for me. The line flowed very quickly, and people went back for seconds & thirds. Until we get the photos back from the photographer, the only picture I had on my phone was that of an empty table :). But Kenya was good about restocking the condiments, we were able to make tacos until she packed up. More photos coming soon. I would have probably offered some sort of discount for the inconvenience if it were my business. To my husband's chagrin, I did not ask for one, because the lady working was hot and working her butt off and was very friendly. And I was fluttering around hosting a party :)...too busy to haggle on the phone. read more

The 3 meats are a perfect combo, the grilled chicken is perfectly cooked, the carne asada has excellent flavor and the meat is tender, but my favorite is the Al Pastor. I've had Kmemo tacos and burritos before and they were always good. This review is based on lack of food. I came to the food truck at 4:30pm and wanted To order two carne asada super burritos and a side of rice and beans. The two women working looked at each other and said "we only have enough carne asada for one burrito." No problem, I'll take al pastor for the other. I asked about the side of rice and beans and they said they were out of rice and beans. So at 4:30pm your out of carne asada AND rice and beans?!?! I asked if our burritos will have rice and she said "yes!" At this point I just wanted my burritos and wanted to leave. And before I asked for salsa and she said it's in the bag, turns out when I got home it was one small verde and one small red salsa. Never coming back. Update: As we're eating our "Super burritos" we noticed that none of our burritos had any sour cream. WTF?!?!? Just changed it to a one star rating. read more

Stopped by the truck at the corner of Sutterville and South land park, in the parking lot of the Chevron gas station. I had not noticed it was there until someone online mentioned it. Being so close to my house, I had to check it out. I went on a Sunday around noon and there wasn't anyone around. I ordered 3 regular burritos: carnitas, Al pastor, and asada. They were all delicious and were made very fast. Classic burritos with beans, rice, onions, and cilantro (salsa was on the side). There was plenty of parking. Lady was nice. Had some hand sanitizer there. I will definitely be back to try the tacos and order burritos again :) read more

This truck is often parked across from the zoo which is pretty close to my house. Decided to finally stop here for a super burrito and had high hopes. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Ordered the pastor super burrito, and went directly home to chow down. It was luke warm so had to pop in the microwave to get it hot. Also probably the smallest "super" burrito I've ever seen. The pastor was so extremely salty I could barely eat it and the meat was chopped up in such small pieces it was like ground beef but with a mushy texture. Finally very little rice and beans in the burrito. Oh well, at least I know not to return. Gave two stars for the lady working in the truck seemed nice. read more

Let me start by saying that the owner of the truck ... Guillermo (Memo) is beyond personable! This was our first time at his truck and it was a 5 star experience!!!The truck was clean and the menu options were endless. All meats were bursting of flavor and beyond juicy/moist. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. We tried the brisket, chicken, soy protein, fish, al pastor,bean tostada and some rice. Not all tacos are created equal, but these were nothing short of delicious! There wasn't 1 taco I didn't like. Amongst the group the brisket and al pastor were a favorite. I myself loved the soy protein. The salsas were also very flavorful and complimented each meat. I'm so glad we gave this taco truck a try. My husband and I hired Guillermo to make tacos for our friends and family for a "Sunday brunch" after our wedding. Guillermo was super friendly and responsive throughout the planning process. He was able to accommodate last minute changes (an increase in guest count) and his wife was so gracious when we visited the taco truck (located near the Sprouts on Sutterville) to try the food. Guillermo was perfectly on time and set up within minutes. Cleanup was also very quick, and our yard looks untouched. I wish we had taken photos of the tacos, but even if we had, I'm afraid that photos wouldn't do them justice. The tacos were so delicious. Guillermo made tacos as fast as our guests could eat them, and our guests kept coming back for more. The meat was seasoned perfectly, and the produce was so fresh. We were so happy that we could show our east coast relatives what California tacos are all about. We are already looking for excuses to throw parties in the future so we can have K'memo tacos again. read more

I checked out the Kmemo Food Truck in front of the Chevron at 4000 S Land Park Dr. (Next to the Sac Zoo). You have to try these tacos!! The meat is perfectly flavored and not overpowering.
