I'm fine with paying a bit more to support a local store, but I'm always pleasantly shocked that prices here are either roughly the same as online or cheaper! I don't keep up with anime figure prices anymore so I can't tell you if the prices on those are as competitive. I can only vouch for the model kits/miniatures/supplies. The biggest downside is the place is super cramped, but in a way it's also somewhat of a plus because I can look around at the various stacked boxes and find lots of treasures. However, one of the staff came out and kept us informed that they had a lot in stock and assured us that if they ran out they will come out and let us know. They never came out. Meaning everyone was able to get products that day! After waiting in line for 2 and half hours, I was finally able to pay for my items. The informant was nice, the person handing out the products was super friendly, however one of the cashier looked like she did not want to be there. I tried to purchase 5 Perfect Order booster packs and she firmly snapped and said "No, you could only get 4". She did not seem friendly at all and when she asked if I had an account or email with them, I said no and she just sighed and gave me the total cost. What if I wanted to sign up and come back again? She didnt even bother asking and it felt like she just wanted to get me the heck out of there. Originally, I was going to give 4 stars but decided to go with 5, just because the store itself was really cool and their pricing for their items are highly competitive. Maybe that employee dealt with a rude customer before me or she was tired of ringing people up for 2 hours straight, who knows. Got a PIC programer and some other various things. After he moved to the current location thats closer to the airport I continue to buy things from him, usually emergencies when I'm short a part or have a rush on something. Hobby Engineering has a searchable website so you can see what he has in stock. The IMIM store hours are what I would nicely say Quasi-Predictable. He's basically running two businesses at the same time by himself and most business is through the mail-order/warehouse side of things however you can really tell he wants to have a storefront. I know currently he's trying for regular Saturday hours but its always best to read the website instructions. When I need something I check the website, then I call to see when he'll be around. If I'm in a rush after confirming he'll be there I'll place the order online and pay for it as a Will-Call and swing by. He has also been incredible in the past and met me at weird or late hours to pick something up. The IMIM store itself is on the second floor and he's making good progress on it as of my last visit. Quite a bit of hobby-related stuff on the shelves to browse. His speciality seems to be Robotics but a lot of general model making supplies around too. Not some much on display for general electronics but the warehouse is just downstairs so if you know he has it in stock and he doesn't have bunches of customers upstairs he has no issues grabbing parts from the warehouse. I was in…read moretown for Pokemon Worlds and decided to do a little pre-gaming at the Nintendo Store, expecting a truly hellish line and scant inventory. The opposite was true! While the line was long, it moved swiftly (although I did make sure to come first thing in the morning, so lines were likely much longer later in the day). Obviously, Pokemon was VERY well stocked, and you could find plenty of items here that were not available at the Pokemon Center within the neighboring event. Employees were also restocking constantly, so shelves did not stay empty for long. And it wasn't just Pokemon! Last year, I missed out on so much of the Splatoon and Pikmin stuff because it was sold out. This time, there was plenty! Definitely a must-see for any Nintendo fan in the area.

I purchased a lot of items and felt they were very reasonably priced. The staff were extremely happy and pleasant to be around.
