I finally got up the motivation to have it fixed and took it to Digitech Electronics. It plays 33/45/ and 78 rpm records and CDs. About a week I got a phone call that it was fixed minus the CD player. After bringing it home I found it played the 33 records but at a slightly lower speed. I need to take it back and see if they can further fine tune the player.

The trade in amount was lowered after corporate received the phone although there was nothing wrong with them. We were told by the in store staff it would adjust just "keep an eye on it". Same thing for the visa gift card. We called Turlock and got the run around call corporate, go to Modesto over and over again. We finally went into the store and needed to call corporate again. The staff is so unprofessional and we are being penalized due to their negligence. I've worked in the commission sales field before as well so trust me I get it when you're wanting to make a deal to make commission but lying about promotions that you're not supposed to do at the same time and think that corporate is just gonna figure it out later is absolutely unprofessional. If I could get out of this contract, I would. The service isn't even that great either. So again for me zero out of 10.

But no, what I got was apparently the "deluxe used model" complete with a surprise inside: a slice of actual burnt toast. Yep. There was straight-up toast in the toaster. Blackened, crusty, and still smelling like someone rage-toasted it before returning it. I stared at it for a solid minute, just trying to wrap my head around it. Did I just buy a "pre-seasoned" toaster? Was this some kind of Target loyalty program bonus I didn't sign up for? And let's talk about quality control -- because clearly, nobody bothered to even glance inside the box before tossing it back on the shelf. What else are we reselling over there? Half-used deodorant? Return bin sushi? Absolutely disgusting. I came for a toaster, not someone else's leftovers. Target, I love you, but if I wanted secondhand carbs, I'd go dumpster diving behind a Panera. Do better.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR SCREEN REPAIR…read more One star because the screen now does not work at all. The first they ordered cracked while they were putting it on the phone. The second screen was delayed via shipping and I would have been out a phone for over a week. He did lend me a phone until then which was nice, but still very inconvenient because I had none of my stuff on there (contacts, photos, apps). Upon receiving the phone with the new screen, the next day I noticed the color of the screen when outside would get all inverted, but neon. Photos attached. I believe this was an installation issue rather than a screen issue. It only happens when I'm outside, with a colder temperature change. When I explained this to him, he said that there was "no warranty" despite paying $200. And that the only step offered was to send the screen back to the manufacturer, which would take 7-10 business days - once again leaving me without a phone. Also, if the screen broke when they took it off, I would be out of luck. So why would I risk that? He also insinuated I dropped the phone for that to happen, which was kind of insulting, especially reporting the issue within 24 hours? I am now stuck with a screen that does not work, and a useless phone. I wish I would have just kept my shattered screen because at least I could actually use the phone. One inconvenience after another and while I understand a lot of this was out of his control, it still does not negate my very negative experience here. I now have to upgrade and get a new phone. I am beyond upset.

And of course, they don't have their stuff saved so I have to wait again. I will never be back for laminating at Staples. Kinks on Geer is faster than a much better customer service.
