Our Galentine's Party!! So fun!!!
Nicolle L.

We had Shuba from Kneaded Earth come out and create a wonderful "Paint and Sip" party for our team. We had a Team Outing and this was our craft project. We painted beautiful octagon clay pieces that Shuba hand made for us to paint. She drove all the way to Wheaton which was very nice of her to go above and beyond to make this party a hit. All of my team loved painting these pieces. What was so amazing is that all of them were so unique and beautiful. She then took the pieces back to her place to fire them in her oven and will deliver them to us in a week. This was all on very short notice. Shuba was sooooo nice and soooo accommodating!

Even with my small niece who was being difficult throughout the class, Shuba continued to be kind and friendly.

What a fun and unique date night experience! We wanted something new to try and went to one of…read morethese growing up so wanted to respark our creative sides and try it out. They have a ton of options and it's nice to be able to pick something that you might actually use for your house. (I ended up with a turtle dish that is being used as a jewelry holder!) There's no time limit and walk-ins are welcome, we went around 7:30 at night. The girls working there were super friendly and explained everything to us, only thing is I wish they didn't accidentally cover up our numbers with paint since I couldn't remember which was which. Not too sure why there is such a negative review about the pricing, they're very upfront about pricing and there is plenty of options around the 20$ mark. would I recommend taking younger kids here? Probably not. But older kids would have such a fun time and get really proud seeing their work finalized.

This might be fine for a girls night out, but for a children's activity this was ridiculously…read moreexpensive. We were looking for something fun to do with our grandchildren and brought 4 children 5 and under for a fun morning. The kids were in and out in under 20 minutes and it cost us almost $200! Each child was charged an $11 sitting fee in addition to the cost of the item they chose to paint. The kids chose small kid appropriate items of little animals that cost $30-50 each. we walked away feeling scammed instead of like we had the fun morning. we we're hoping for.

I use to manage this studio for three years. Through out my time there I endured some strange…read morebehaviors from not just the owner Kelly but also her husband. The mall this establishment is in celebrates Pride Month as does all of the other stores. So naturally I put up decorations along with the rest of the mall. This angered Kelly and she started tearing down my rainbows. She said she wanted to remain "neutral". That was the first red flag as I, her manager, is queer and she knew this. The 2nd red flag was when her husband picked me up from this location (as I am disabled and can't drive) to take me to their Plano location. When I hopped into the car a song was playing, her husband quickly turned off the song and went looking through his phone for another. He then puts on The Lords of Acid - Pussy Song. We were alone in the car The owner Kelly and her husband are anti LGBTQ and anti immigrant. I ran their studio for three years before their beliefs reared their ugly heads. I, myself am a queer Latino. The mall celebrates Pride Month, Kelly didn't like this so she tore down all of the decorations I put up. She loved the indigenous pottery workshops I would do, they made HER LOTS OF MONEY. I ultimately QUIT because he husband was watching me on the cameras and had an issue with my sick child being at the studio when I had no other option. This man wasn't my boss. He had to pick me up one day for a convention, when I got in the car a song was playing . HE TURNED OFF THE SONG LOOKED GOR A NEW ONE AND PUT ON :LORDS OF ACID- THE PUSSY SONG. I'm queer, married and someone MOTHER. DO NOT WORK HERE IT IS NOT SAFE. We were in the car for at least 20 minutes... The final nail in the coffin was when her husband called me at work because he was watching me that morning bending down sorting the orders. My son, who was 11 at the time had his head down on the table. We had been up all night as my child developed hives and we had just gotten in from the doctor. I could not have prepared for this so I took him and his medicines to work with me. Well her husband didn't like that because it "looks bad". Mind you, this is the same kid that would volunteer on the weekends to help me clean the studio after parties for extra allowance. Kelly encouraged this. This man and father told me to find other accommodations. So I did, I easily found another job. If you go here you support an owner who not only makes excuses for her perverted husband but someone who hates kindness and equality. The people who stand by this women all look exactly like HER. Sound familiar?

I wish they had mentioned this rule when I called them because when we walked in they ruined our plans. Terrible customer service!!

This is my third time trying the wine tasting. But my first time this year…read more We went here right after work at around 4:45 PM. It wasn't crowded there was couples there and a few single people. I walked in first and I legit waited for five minutes, no greeting, no service. Then the server Matthew came and asked me for my ID. I gave it to him and I let him know my friend was joining me and if he could bring out an extra menu for her. He did so about five minutes later. I mention all this because the service was not good from the start from the waiter Matthew. Once my friend came in, I noticed that the people around us everybody had two glasses and both menus so it appeared that everybody was trying a wine from each menu. Because usually they'll just pour all of the same kind of wine from both menus into one glass. But since seeing everyone around us doing it a different way, I requested we do the same. The waiter Matthew did not say anything about a glass pour limit or how having two glasses works. NOTHING! He didn't mention anything so we tried about four wines. Mind you we are chatting about work in a peaceful manner. We saw a server we were familiar with greeted him, and he poured us some wine. After that Matthew abruptly brought us our checks when we did not ask to receive them and he said we've tried eight wines already. I mentioned the fact that the couples around us have been there since before we got there and we got their last. There were no new groups of people coming in either so I thought that was strange. Matthew wasn't budging. We asked if we could try one more and he let us, but I did not appreciate him trying to cut our wine tasting short. The last time we went we had xavier last year in February and our wine tasting was great. We actually got to learn a lot of new things about the wine. The service from him was really good. He was the reason why me and my friend wanted to go back to the tasting. There was no limit on how many wines we could try. We even purchased wine bottles as a result from that tasting. Apparently the server Matt got mad at Xavier and argued with him in the back about it. But Matt needs to realize he's a rude server and needs to take notes from Xavier. All in all winetasting should be fun. Chill and relaxing, not rude. The ambience that was created wasn't safe and I couldn't enjoy my experience. Request for your favorite server to serve you because that's actually important.
