    Some yummy donut

Kneads Cafe -- My kids are giving it a solid 5 stars, and honestly... they're not wrong. The space is bright and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the counter service is quick and efficient. From an adult perspective, we walked into what looked like total chaos--a packed restaurant--and immediately thought we'd made a mistake. But then we realized you can order at the counter and head upstairs to grab a seat. Total win-win. We went with two cappuccinos, a lineup of sweet treats, and an incredible steak, egg, and cheese sandwich that absolutely delivered. Hands down one of our best Baltimore finds--we're already looking forward to coming back when football season rolls around.

Stopped in after a work meeting for a quick bite. They have an intimate workspace upstairs with free WiFi access and lots of seating as well. I gave the spinach and cheese quiche a try. Nice sized portion given but a little undercooked for my liking.

The food is good, the service is sluggish at best. There are several locations and it is well liked, I just wish the service was better. The lines and the crowd speak to the quality of food. Most people take out. That's what I would do next time. I see empty tables sit while there is a 50 min wait. The place is light filled open and airy. The hostess was arrogant in the way average employees used to waits gets. No recommendation on other local spots. It was a take it or get out attitude

First time at Kneads! There are tables for waiter service on the first floor, or you can order at the counter and eat upstairs. It was cool to see the operations in the bakery with the racks and racks of fresh bread. We ordered: Wild mushroom omelette, Apple danish, Chocolate chip cookie, and a Chai latte. The omelette was a hit. The chai was good, but wish it had more spices. The danish had a larger dough to filling ratio than your typical danish, so I was left wanting more apple. I think the chocolate chip cookie was too sweet and could be improved by more salt, or a slightly darker chocolate. I would definitely go back to try more of their pastries.

I really enjoy this location. The pastries are divine, which is to be expected. The breakfast food is also very good. The steak, egg, and cheese hash was decadent and even the egg white omelette was enjoyable. They also have a very good coffee selection with seasonal flavors. The banana bread latte was an experience I'm glad I can say I've had, although I may not order it again. The space itself is very large and airy, with windows on two sides and very high ceilings. The tables are spaced out enough that you are not on top of your neighbors. And the service is efficient. When my first latte came out room temperature, they remade it immediately.

This is a huge restaurant. We can always get a table during off-times, if it is a weekend morning or prime lunch-thirty, you may have to wait a bit for a seat. Sometimes we sit at the bar, there is no wait there and full service. It is a little loud but the food is worth the noise. The food here is so delicious! We have tried many things, all good. My husband loves all of the pizzas (the dough is extra good) and I love that burger. Sometimes we split a sandwich and a donut, what is better than that? The workers here are friendly and you can peek in the back and see how they make all of the baked goods.

Came back and I remain unimpressed. The restaurant is clearly understaffed and everything seems to be done at 50%. So much potential because the restaurant space is beautiful, yet it is the most average establishment. I got multigrain toast and it was slathered in bitter oil. Not butter or extra virgin olive oil, rancid cooking oil. Make it make sense. How are you operating as a bakery?? Le sigh...

It's been a while since I've updated my review for Kneads and I come here all the time. Since opening, everything has gotten a lot better. Service is friendly and food is great. I come here mainly for coffees and pastries but recently dined in for lunch. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Our server was slow but our food was really good. I got their Winter Market Grain Salad with added Shrimp and my friend got a pizza. The salad was flavorful and filling. Always a great spot to come to now.

summary: good vibes, lots of space for a variety of seating, and yummy food. Basically, everything that I hope for in a cafe environment all in one. Knead's bakeshop offers kind of a modular experience based on what you want. When you walk in, you see a small section that highlights small businesses with crafts, apparel, candles, etc. There's also a bakery/cafe vibe with freshly made treats with a selection of coffee items (there's a few unique speciality drinks mixed in there too). Aside from the bakery/shop, there's also like a mini sit down restaurant area that includes a bar. And there's also an upstairs that has more loungy seating whether you're trying to eat or get some work done. Really cool venue and I feel like your experience might be dictated based on what you're trying to do. For me, my partner and I went to the sit-down restaurant area. The food was delicious. Everything was super fresh and had great flavor. The martini flights were definitely on the sweeter side, but the Americano was great. Service was honestly a bit spotty and I felt like our server snuck in an extra side of fries for us by making it sound like it was part of my entree, when it was actually an additional fee. I wasn't too mad about it because they were delicious. Cool spot and I would recommend whether you're looking for a great meal, a nice cup of coffee, or a place to sit down and knock out some work.

And as usual my stop at this spot was without doubt a plus. I ordered my danish and banana bread latte at the front; it came out fast and tasty. Went to the bar and was seated quickly. I ordered an espresso martini with Bailey's as they were out of the syrups for all the special martinis. I then ordered smokes Salmon omelet that comes with spinach mix greens tossed in a vinagrette. An of course it was good. The atmosphere was relaxed and chill. Customer conversations were quiet and the mood was great. Nothing less than good service today.

Kneads Bakeshop hosted a Galentines event and it was such a cute experience. It was $45 and that covered parking in the lot across the street and admission. Admission included two drink tickets, two raffle tickets and material for the painting. They had a flower bar where you could select from an assortment of flowers and they wrapped it for you. There was also pizza, sliders, pastries and dessert for us to snack on. The sliders were my favorite. Whatever sauce they put on it was super delicious. While we ate and listened to music there was an artist that guided us in painting stemless wine glasses. They curated a space to bond with old friends and make new friends. All of the staff were so nice and super helpful. They made sure we were okay from beginning to end. If this is an annual event I will for sure attend again.

This review is for bartender brunette Stephanie! We interacted with two Stephanies, the other had braids and glasses we chatted with her too, but she wasn't our angel of a bartender who waited on us! I can't say enough about Stephanie. She really gave thorough food recommendations, went above and beyond to give us info about their bakery, told us about their classes and joked with us about legoland lol. She was clearly busy also helping with tables, but that didn't stop her from giving amazing, prompt service. She's great vibes, will absolutely be back because of the service alone. And the food here never ever disappoints. That ham and cheese croissant was so yummy, great sauce and portion!

I'd give this place 4/5 except for the fact that when I filled my water bottle at the water station, I ended up with hair in my mouth (ew!), and in addition to it not looking like my hair, mine is braided so I *really* doubt it was mine. The music is kinda loud so it's not the best place to work/study unless you have noise-canceling headphones and head upstairs. First floor is a dining area with table service, while the second floor has outlets and comfortable seating, with ordering done at the takeout counter. I tried the almond croissant and it was hard from sitting in the display, but I imagine it's legendary when fresh. The interior was still moist and buttery, somehow without making the bottom soggy. The whole exterior had a nice crunch to it. I also got a cappuccino and was surprised by how good the espresso was (it wasn't burnt!!). The pricing for these items wasn't terrible, but it's definitely dependent on what you order.

I've recently started working in the area and they are supper close thus I decided to try them out…read more I was very excited when I saw it was Korean owned however their K-food section is only two items; Bulgogi Dupbap & the Bulgogi Sub. The rest of the menu is American stuff. I've as of now tried both of these and very content with the taste and filling of these two, the price is reasonable per the portion and yummyness($12.49) plus tax about $13.25. The only thing I would change a bit is making sure that the juice from the bulgogi doesn't soak the bread too much cuz then it's mushy. I like a crunchy texture to my subs, but the may be just my preference. Both the son and the mom are super nice, if you become a regular it's very nice to have people know what you want right away. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. I hope that they can incorporate more korean food to their menu, at least 2 more that have a different protein so we have a bit more variety. Though I understand why the options for kfood are limited given the area's population. Things to keep in mind: - When you order let them know if you want it to go or to eat there. Nobody can read minds, but they will do their best to ask you prior to packaging to confirm. - It can get busy so sometimes transaction may take longer because people are multitasking. - - - Don't rip out the receipt, you might be taking the wrong copy. Wait for the cashier to hand it to you or simply ask. -If you have questions about a product, ask them and don't assume. Yes. There is a big menu and pamphlets available and they provide brief item description but if that's not clear, just ask. They also have prepackaged salads, fruit and a few sweet treats, along with MissVickies chips, and bottle drinks. It's a cafe so the basics. Overall, really nice experience. Tots recommended :3

Solid Experience, But I Miss the Old Owner…read more Café on the Square is a reliable spot with decent food and a cozy atmosphere. The service was good, and the dishes were tasty, but nothing that really stood out. That being said, I miss the old owner--there was something special about his presence that made every visit feel more welcoming and personal. I hope the new management keeps things moving in the right direction. I'll definitely return, but it's just not quite the same without the old vibe.

SHUT THE FLUFF UP! SO GOOOOD!!!…read more We were in Baltimore with a few hours to spare in the morning, so what to do?!? First thing that comes to mind is... crab for breakfast! Ok yelp, show me watcha gat!!! Oh, AND Open Early! Unfortunately, we have just a few options pop up (Wha?!? REALLY?!? It's Baltimore, aren't they famous for crab?!?), so we choose to hit Blue Moon Cafe! Yelp directions are on point and only street parking from what we can see. We brave the brisk chilly breeze of early May to get the cafe... BRRRR!!! Inside has a dark theme to it and small patronage area. Per the lovely Nicki who greeted us, Blue has been on Food Network a few times... DDD, Best Things I Ever Ate & Destination FOOD... so settin' the bar HIGH from the start! Ok, okay I dig the confidence!! Menu is via QR code but Nicki, becuz she's fun, excitedly announces the recs to the newbies, which are Sweet Baby Jesus & Cap'n Crunch French Toast. Thanks for the heads up! Sweet Baby has lump Crab in the dish so that's a confident YES! for that, but I spy something more appealing than the Cap'n Crunch... Let's EAT! SWEET BABY JESUS!: Wifey and I wanted crab and this was Blue's big gun! So YES! To The Dish! It may appear as a simple Hash Brown dish but it is so much GLORIOUS than that! To start, Hash browns are browned & crisped perfectly and then the angel's touch happens... lump crab (generous portion) with Old Bay Seasoning, fresh diced tomatoes, melty cheese, 2 over Medium eggs and homemade Hollandaise Sauce. HOLEY MOLEY! DEEE-LISH! Generous crab serving allows you to have crab with EVERY bite of this dish! Mmmmm :) Love the ooey gooey stretchy cheese! Love the runny eggs! And that Hollandaise?!?! LEGIT! This heavenly dish deserves all the hype! The only drawback was the dish got cold fast because of the cold weather outside I assume. By the time I finished my order, and got to helping Wifey, not as WOWzers compared to when it first dropped on our table. Now we know... eat fast when it's cold outside. lol SHUT THE FLUFF UP! FRENCH TOAST: Once I read "peanut butter" in its ingredients, no way I was passing this up! Buh Bye fan fave Cap'n Crunch, maybe next time lol. Officially, menu "says" it's a Pretzel encrusted French Toast, layered with chunky peanut butter, marshmallow fluff and Chocolate drizzle... allegedly. The chocolate drizzle was not present when the plate landed but generous melty smooth peanut butter completely covered the top of the marshmallow fluff. Sliced Granny Smith apples and thin pretzels also topped the dish, with a powdered sugar drizzle over the entire plate. I asked for extra peanut butter on the side just because no one ever puts enough for my liking lol. And whattya know?!? This newest iteration of the dish was FABULOUS! Did they run out of stuff? Who cares! The synergy these items had with each other just made an amazing bite each and every time. BOMB-alicious!!! I don't really like marshmallow but it wasn't a hindrance here. I devoured the entire thing. Compliments to the chef! ;) VERY EASY RECOMMENDATION! Definitely worth a visit and a return visit, as well! If it's cold outside, focus on eating not chit chatting lol ENJOY! :)

Blue Moon Cafe was recommended to us by my sister while our family was in town for a graduation…read morecelebration, and it ended up being a great brunch spot. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, so we had about a 30 minute wait, but it was worth it. We ordered the G&G Country Scramble, Sweet Baby Jesus, Cap'n Crunch French Toast, and the spicy crab, tomato, and pepper jack dish. The menu definitely has a Southern-style Maryland feel with things like crab, biscuits and gravy, and grits throughout. Portions are huge, and the food was rich, comforting, and very filling. We absolutely needed a nap afterward. The Cap'n Crunch French Toast was perfect to share for the table. I recommend eating it first while it is still crispy on the outside. Our table favorite was the G&G Country Scramble, followed closely by the Sweet Baby Jesus. I also tried the homemade lemonade and it was delicious. Service was great and the whole place had a warm, family-style atmosphere. One helpful thing to note, a 20% gratuity is automatically included on bills over $50, and they do not split checks. There were signs posted, but mentioning it here in case it helps others planning to visit.
