Great park! Was very clean and lots for the kids to do--both big and little. There is a splash pad and swings. There is also a dog park and soccer field so kids can run around and look at people with the dogs. We brought scooters and a bike for them to play on the sidewalks, which they also enjoyed. There wasn't as much shade as I would've liked, but it was windy that day so not too hot! There was also bathrooms there for people to use. Parking was also easy, you can park in the lot or on the side of the street and walk into the park. We would go back if we were in the area!

Beautiful park with small parking lot and lots of street parking. Large grass area and fun playground. Also a dog park with 2 sections. Trail around it. Well maintained.

    Playground for 2-5

This park is my favorite by far! Super clean, great bathrooms and the perfect setup for mamas with kiddos of different ages. The splash pad is awesome as well. I love that I can see my kids the entire time and there are no blind spots while at the picnic tables.

We came out to enjoy the 4th of July festivities here with some of the gang. From what I could see, This is a huge park with lots of grassy areas, paved walkways, and multiple play areas for the kids. Food trucks were out. live music was playing, and everyone was having a good time. Originally scheduled to go off at 9:15pm, people were getting restless because of the 100 degree heat that lingered, and Fire Marshall Bill, or whoever he was, said there was a "wind delay".....Ummm, yeah, and all of the other fireworks around us were going off every second without a hitch!?!? Anywho, after an hour long wait, (and half of the people were gone) we finally got to enjoy the fireworks show after almost calling it quits too! ALOHA!!!

Nice park if your ever at the top of 215 and shaumbert

I enjoyed this park overall it has a really nice set up, a dog park a nice area for kids to play and a water area for these hot summer days it also has a really nice field area for picnics or football etc... the bathroom is always clean and accessible it could probably use another stall or two but overall nice park. I only gave 4 stars because of the location of the pull up equipment and also the other work out equipment is so far spread out I could only do one thing at a time I'm used to having it all in one area so this made it a little difficult to do my work, but I will say the equipment was clean and seemed to be in good shape and it has a great view of the city. For all my barstarzz this park is ok for doing pull ups but if you want the other stuff you gotta find it so I give it 4 stars keep up the good work hope this review helps.

Yelp 100 Challenge 2013- 29/100 I'm a true outdoor junkie that is taking full advantage of the endless recreational space Las Vegas offers! This park is one of the countless reasons why I LOVE LOVE LOVE living in Vegas. This park is located within the Master Community of Providence (no- it's not gated and visitors from all over are welcomed). The neighborhood and houses that surround this park are simply charming and only enhance the curb appeal and wholesome nature of this park. I'm a regular visitor after recently purchasing a home here in the NW. Knickerbocker offers a running trail (with lighting for night runs), extensive playground areas and equipment for the kiddos, and a wonderful dog park for all the fur-babies! In fact, they just recently added grass to both the large and small dog play areas (which was a welcomed touch)! They also have security that patrol the area at all times (which I appreciate). I will echo Jade W's review and say that the sweeping views of the valley are breathtaking! This feature alone would make a trip worthwhile and take this park over the top. Tip: Visit at dusk or night and soak in the beauty.

Best view of the city skyline in the NW. Best fireworks show for Independence day with music and food trucks. Great to see HOA dues actually are being used well to keep up this park. Greenest grass in the Valley. 24/7 security patrol Small dog park (big dog and small dog sides). If you want a larger dog park go to Huckleberry. Small walking nature trail with exercise spots along the way. Baseball diamond for the kids Also splash pad and playground. Splash pad closed for winter in Oct. Grass is also off limits in Oct for overseeding for a few weeks.

Ares enjoying the grass and shade.

Nice sized park. Took the puppers here to check out the dog run and get some socialization. I liked the layout, and the park in general was very clean. My one complaint (which I'm sure is the same one for all dog parks) is that not everyone is responsible enough to clean up after their dogs. People, if your dog poops clean it up! There are literally doggie waste bag stations all over the park.

I bring my dog here. The dog park itself is small but shady and green. The exercise trail is a nice walk. Plenty of grass!

Does the gazebo at Knickerbocker Park have electric plugs?

Yes! There's a plug on every pillar.

Can I have a birthday party here?

Yes, I have seen others host parties here. However, I believe it is on a first-come/first-serve basis when it comes to the gazebos and benches (so you'd want to get there early for the spot or plan on hosting in the field and bring your own…

So that leaves me with my only option of grouping my dog with much larger dogs that are 25lbs or more which is dangerous for my tiny 10 pound mini dachshund. In my experience being here a handful of times, I have a found that about half of the owners are careless and do not take responsibility for their pets behavior. My word of caution if you have a small pup anywhere from 6 months to a year old and you want your pup safe just avoid this park. But if you do decide to take your pup to this specific park then I'd suggest you leash them at all times, which kind of defeats the purpose of going to a dog park. This was my experience and sadly at this moment until many things improve, I cannot recommend Kellogg Dog Park.

Great open space with real grass. Pups enjoyed chasing the birds. There's public park bathrooms nearby which is very convenient if you need to use the bathroom or just if you'd like to wash your hands - there's both soap and water as well as sanitizer. The dog park has several concrete benches throughout the park both in the shade and in the sun. We started in the shade but then it was too chilly so we moved to a nice bench and got some sunshine. It wasn't a busy day. We went on Thanksgiving Day. Several dogs came and left. The few people we met were very friendly and talkative in a neighborly way. Dogs are required to be spayed or neutered and over 4 months of age. A good policy to have for any dog park! There's a spacious large dog side and small dog side. Each has its own poop bag stations and water fountains for pups. Trash cans are abundant throughout the park as well. Overall, it's one of the best dog parks in terms of cleanliness, convenience, spaciousness, and design.

It is some of the little nuances that make the biggest difference. There are multiple poop bag dispensers and scoop shovels with trash cans all along the nice walking path through the park. But you will notice that the park is not only gigantic, has multiple watering stations along the walk path as well as multiple places to sit! The nice thing is the places to sit are all spaced out across the dog park and because of the natural ground covering the bushes kind of block visibility from one to the other. It says no dog toys on the gates so clearly they are aware of what sets some dogs off. Also not having them all congregate together and be able to see the large groups because of the way the tables are set up, also helps keep things calm. You park fairly close to the park and you can walk around the interior on the path, that is almost completely flat. But it's the natural ground covering that makes it all so nice for the dogs. And just FYI it not only kicks the snot out of, blows the doors off, chews up and spits out the new one in Laughlin, maybe that dog park there comparatively speaking should be called laughed in dog park! So if you're looking to move near the water this one's much nicer
