I couldn't be happier that Mountains Edge finally decided to build a dog park and it's in walking distance to my house. It's a nice large park with 3 separate dog runs; one for large dogs, small dogs, and one where you can mix them up. Each run has poop bags, garbage cans, benches to sit and a water fountain. The hoa has been collecting donations and selling dedication bricks, trees and benches to fund the park. My only gripe is that some of the human park patrons do not follow the rules, don't pick up their dogs poo, bring aggressive dogs to the park, and let their kids run around the park but then blame the dog if they get knocked over. I've met a lot of great people so far and I hope we can keep it a great place to take our pets.

Love this park! Very family friendly and dog friendly. Love hiking to the top of the mountain to see a beautiful site of Las Vegas

Realistically my rating is a 4.5/5 for this park. This is our "home" dog park that we frequent. We've been going to this park regularly for half a year now and have never had a problem here. The people that go here are overall nice and chill. You'll get used to who's who after a while. There is security and maintenance that comes around to clean/empty the trash frequently which is nice. 4.5/5 because I think they need more benches especially in the middle section. The right (Big Dog) section of the park is almost half dirt and half grass. And bruh for all the people complaining that the parking lot is far? Lol cmon use your legs people, it ain't nothin tbh.

I used to bring my puppy to Desert Breeze dog park but stopped going as dog fights were breaking out every 15 minutes, careless owners, and poor to non existent lighting at night. My puppy has been attacked twice there so I needed to find a new park for him. Mountain's Edge dog park is sooo much better, in every way. The park is much newer, bigger, and well kept with security and responsible dog owners. The grass is pretty clean as almost everyone picks up after their dog. I've been going to this park for months now and we haven't had any problems.

View of the gated dog area from the parking lot. It's quite a trek to get to the gated entrance from the parking lot.

Love the separate areas for small, medium and large dogs. The park is clean and the pet parents were attentive

It looks as though the park has the typical/normal wear and tear of any park that's been around for years in this harsh desert climate. With that being said it's still a pretty good park. They have restrooms, water fountains, two full tennis courts, a basketball court, Big and little kid playground areas, swing sets, a large properly maintenance grass field where lots of kids have been known to practice soccer in. They also have a fitness area as well as a jogging path that I've had the pleasure of using to burn off those pesky calories. Lastly, they have one gazebo area as well as a frequently visited ice cream truck. Hence the reason to burn off those calories, lol.

It's a great spot for a workout and a long walk. The park is in beautiful condition, minus some trash overflowing throughout the park trash bins when I visited. It seemed busy with lots of people. The parking lot was full, but there was plenty of off street parking as well. A great upbeat vibe for a park with lots of active people here enjoying the outdoors.

It makes a big difference when you have little ones or wanderers and want a bit more peace of mind. There are options for both bucket swings and regular swings, so it works well for different ages. The splash pad area is pretty spacious and gives kids plenty of room to run around, although it's not enclosed. There are quite a few trees around the park but they aren't really positioned in a way that provides much shade where you'd actually want to sit/can sit comfortably. The women's bathroom had multiple stalls, which was nice, but there was no changing table or hand soap in the bathroom. The bathrooms just gave a very worn look/feel to it though. Also not a big fan that they were a bit far from the playground and right in front of the parking lot. It gave me a bad feeling. I also saw there's a disc golf course here, if anyone is wondering (pics provided). The biggest issue for me was the amount of trash scattered around. There was everything from random litter to cigarette butts in common areas, which took away from the overall experience. With better maintenance, I feel like this park can be a favorite in the future.

Just very dirty and unloved. Trash everywhere, dog poop everywhere, faded signs, graffiti, broken irritation. It was so difficult to play the disc golf course when every feet had poop. Bring hand sanitizer!
