Most of our trips include Cako. Searching around on Yelp, I found Kellogg. Not too far from where we were staying, it's a really nice park for everyone. There were three sections for dogs, but one was closed. The sections are nice and long and with grass. There's even a section for small dogs. Most of the owners were friendly. Cako does what she loves to do...run! In a circle, in a straight line, but always trying to get other dogs to chase her. This visit, she had three German Shepherds chasing her, and though they were playing, she does get a little freaked when too many dogs are trying to get her. The dog's owners were great! Took two away, and just one-on-one was fine, but the other two wanted to play too. "LUCY LOO! LUCY LOO!" Me: She's here??? I love the names of other dogs! My favorite was the remembrance tree! Great place to come to! Cako Approves!

We couldn't stay here as there's one tiny tree on the whole park. Complete lack of shade makes it unbearable here. Plus is that the water fountain worked including the doggie one.

Careful here me and my husband arrived at this park 9/25/21 around 7 pm there were 2 white males one female hanging around the parking lot by us.We walked our dogs around the track about 40 minutes when we came back our car was gone stolen I am so pissed!!

Grass is a bit dead, but pups don't care

First time visiting this dog park. We loved it. We got to play with some fun doggies of all sizes. The grass is a bit dead, like most of the dog parks. And there are "land mines" dropped by dogs that are ignored by their human counterparts, I haven't found a dog park where this wasn't the case, but some more than others. The large dog run that we used was nice and big with lots of room to run and sniff, even a few spots to sit and get shade. Water fountains worked and plenty of poopy bags to go around. The park is on a slope so there's a little hill for the dogs to run up and over to the fence at the other side. Why are all the really nice dog parks so far from home? Hopefully the SW area of the valley catches up with the rest, so I can stay in my hood!

Would not recommend if you are looking for a safe environment for your dog. I have a one-year-old Vizsla puppy who is not aggressive and very sweet and playful (if you know anything about this breed, it's that they are very meek). This was our first time going to this dog park. When we pulled up, I saw a group of four people and their German shepherds. I had a feeling that we shouldn't go because we have not had good experiences with German Shepherd's, but we decided to go anyway. Within the first 10 minutes of Hollis being at the park, he got bit by a German Shepherd. He was minding his own business and didn't go close to the dog, and all of a sudden the dog charged and attacked him. I approached the owner and he seemed very nonchalant about it. He told me that his dog doesn't like dogs who are intact and that's why he attacked him, which is completely crazy to me that he knows his dog is aggressive and yet still brings him to that dog park. He didn't give me any of his information or offer to pay for a vet bill. My dog has a huge infected slice in his ear now and I am $300 deep in vet bills. I wish I could've got his info to report him to animal control. I wasn't going to write a review but I really feel that other people who care about their dogs should know that this happened at this park. He seems to be a regular there, so be careful.

We really like here and my doggie loves here also. Dog owners are nice and friendly and we can do off leash! This is the best point. Space is big enough for small/medium-size dog, but no shade. So We can not hide from sun in summer. but Night time is nice too.

Large dog park side, about 3/4 of the way from the entrance (hills on the right)

It's one of those dog parks that has two dividing sections: large and small dog side. To get to the park, if you turn on Washington, keep following the road past the fire station and eventually you'll see a four way stop, make a left. Both sides of the park are completely fenced off so you can let your dog run free. I love taking my JRT Sophie to both sides so she can really get some exercise. The large dogs are always nice to the little ones. Love they have a morning group and night group of regulars. Don't take offense if you hear reminders that your dog is going, it's for the overall cleanliness of the park, so please pick up after your dog!! If you come at night, bring a towel or chair since the seats can fill rather quickly!

It was my first time here today. It's a nice big dog park. Has tons of grass and looked very cleaned. I would go back. Only thing that sucks is, it needs more shade

First time coming at night and the crowd is real friendly just like the day people. I think we've found our new favorite public dog park.

Drama free dog park!! I love it!! That's why I like coming here. It's located in a nice area and the people who come here go regularly so they have nice, socialized, and well behaved dogs for the most part. It really feels more like social hour rather than playtime for your pup. I actually really enjoy talking to the folks there and it's nice when you come in the park you are always greeted. Now as far as poop goes. The park is decently maintained. There is a hill that once dogs go over it you can't see them anymore. So just watch your step over that Hill. Actually its a dog park. Best to watch your step everywhere, but especially over that hill. Every now and then you'll see a landmine. The dog park is also a very good size. Nice and big and has grass everywhere. No sections where there are those rocks like some other parks have. Complaint: not a lot of shaded seats. A lot of people actually bring their own chairs there. Even the two benches that are in the shade at some points during the day don't really provide much shade for your legs. If you want to stay out of the sun be prepared to either sit on the ground (yuck, dogs poop there), bring your own chair (pain in the ass I know), or stand (like I do). I've yet to see anyone get upset at anyone while I'm there. The last dog park I was going to some of the people would act like the dog park police and enforce made up rules. You don't get that here. People are pretty easy going. Love it.

We have 2 large dogs and we're thrilled about this amazing community dog park just less than a mile from our place! There's something special about heading to the dog park on a nice a cool evening and enjoying some fresh air and breeze with our 2 dog-children (Inky and Mushroom) This massive enclosed dog park is nestled inside of the huge Kellogg Zaher Recreational Park Community. It's great since the dog park is well kept - they have bench style seating inside and some are covered, also there is a human and doggy drinking fountain, the grass is actually kept up pretty well, the park is well lit at night, there is a potty bag station and trash cans. This dog park is a great size on a hill for lots of running and playing. We all really enjoyed ourselves here. Plus, the other park goers were a great crowd and pleasant as well! The dogs and their owners were courteous and friendly. Come here, let loose, exercise and be silly with your dog! It's a great bonding place for you and your dog-child ;)

My beautiful beagle Sadie Love this park! She can be here all day. I wish there were more shade and benches but the people that come here are great dog parents. It makes it a great experience because of the people here. Sadie gets to play with other great dogs and I get to chat with great parents. Very friendly! Lots of people leave toys at the park for everyone to play with.

There two dog parks here. One is for small dogs and the other is for large. There are a few things I like about this place. It has lots of space. Your dog can run around and have a good amount of exercise running from one end to the other. It has a hilly part to the side which is good for exercise. This is one of the cleaner dog parks I've been to in Vegas. They have bags everywhere. I don't find myself walking on a land mine. There are always dogs here! It's so good for my dog to come here to socialize. She always finds a dog to play with. The people are nice too. I haven't had any problems here with aggressive dogs or anything.

This place is huge, beautiful, and surprisingly impressive. It has that rare park energy where you can wander around and still feel like you have only discovered about 12 percent of it. The grounds are spacious, clean, and well kept, with plenty of room for events, families, kids, dogs, festival chaos, and people like me pretending I am "just going for a stroll" when really I am hunting for snacks. For a big event, it worked really well. There was enough open space that it did not feel like everyone was crammed together in one sweaty little patch of grass questioning their life choices. The park gives you room to breathe, walk, sit, explore, and fully commit to whatever themed event you accidentally became emotionally invested in. Overall, this is a vast, beautiful park with great event potential and plenty of space to enjoy. We came for the pirates, but the park itself was definitely part of the treasure

There's plenty of it, and it's super close to the dog park, which is always a plus when you've got excited pups ready to go. The park itself is split into a small dog area and a large dog area, and both sides were well maintained. The grass was green and mostly clean, and there were multiple shaded seating areas to relax while keeping an eye on your dog. I really appreciated the water fountains placed around specifically for the dogs, they looked clean and well kept, which isn't always the case at dog parks. There are also lots of trees, so even on warmer days, you can find shade easily. There were easily 15+ dogs there during our visit, and the overall vibe was great. Most of the dogs came over to say hello, and they all appeared healthy, well groomed, and social. No aggressive behavior at all... just the occasional male dog trying to assert dominance, but nothing escalated and owners stayed attentive and in control. That alone says a lot about the type of crowd this park attracts. Speaking of people...everyone we encountered was friendly, respectful, and responsible. It was really nice to see that every dog owner we noticed picked up after their pets. That level of consideration makes a huge difference. Beyond the dog park, the rest of the park was just as lively. The volleyball courts were packed with groups having a good time, and the fields were full of soccer teams ranging from little kids to teens. Even the restroom was well maintained, soap to wash your hands, full rolls of toilet paper, no trash or debris on the floor no floaters in the toilets. The playground was surprisingly not crowded, and it looks like it's been updated....there were no traditional slides, but instead more interactive and physical play structures like climbing ropes, stairs, and obstacle style features that make it fun in a different way. Even the parking lot experience stood out... people were patient, respectful, and courteous. One driver even pulled back into their spot after starting to back out just to let me pass, even though I had paused for them. It's little things like that that really add to the overall experience. All in all, it was an amazing day at the park. The weather was perfect, which definitely helped set the tone, but the cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, and thoughtful layout of the park really made it stand out. This is one of those places you'll want to keep coming back to.

Its 18 acres are lined with mature trees, and this time of year the ornamental pears are peaking. They burst into clouds of white blossoms, their branches dusted like powdered sugar. When the breeze moves through, petals drift down slowly, almost like a gentle snowfall.
