I can't say enough great things about Kniesel's (Loomis). For starters, they did an incredible job in every way. There is no way you could tell any work had been done. My car got hit only after a couple of weeks of purchasing it and the car looks like it came off the showroom floor. They really have pride in their work and go out of their way to make sure customers are happy. The person who was assigned to me was Edwin who was outstanding. He always got back to me when I had questions and kept me updated on the process. As a bonus, he even helped me with a rock chip that had nothing to do with the repair. This was the 2md time I have had to have work done to a Brand New Audi RS5 with less than a 1000 miles on it in the past 2 months. The first time I took it I the shop damaged both my taillights that the eventually replaced. Biggest issue was the lack of quality control. Fast forward 3 weeks and had to bring it back again for the trunk lid to be repaired. When ai picked the car up the paint job was horrible and had orange peel everywhere. They also were working on a car in front of mine which left overspray all over the front spoiler. You would think that the car would 1000% immaculate after having to go through another issue with quality control. I pick up the car when it is wet and raining and couldn't look under the car where the front lip overspray was. To my surprise when I got it home, they removed the upper overspray but not the area on the lower lip. I have never experienced suck horrible work from any shop, especially a supposed High end Audi certified shop. I will never go back. The girls up front are amazing and should be recognized. Kniesel's Specialized took care of some damage that was present on delivery of our new Tesla. They have a good relationship with the local Enterprise which has Tesla rental cars. Every step with Kniesel's was done with professionalism, courtesy and excellent communication. They called every few days with updates and completed the work timely. They even went above and beyond by repairing a stripped license plate screw from when Tesla installed the paper plates. They then installed the new license plate which we had in the car. Tesla foot the bill for this repair but I think if I ever need body work done on our Teslas I would certainly feel confident in Kniesel's abilities. read more

I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with Kniesel's. I asked if they had received the check from my insurance company which I had directed to them and not to myself.They said they hadn't, but assured me to drop off my car and they would take care of checks often come in after the car is dropped off. I insisted they check again, providing them with the check number and even getting my insurance company on the phone. It turned out they had lost the check. They called me several days later after finding they had already cashed the check. I then set up an apointment to drop off my car for service. read more

I got my Tesla Model Y repaired and picked it up on June 27, 2023. They forgot to put the emblems on the car and the brake light of the car did not work. I went back to get the emblems put back on July 11, 2023. Hannah told me that she will order a replacement for the brake light and it should arrive fast. I called back after a month to ask for an update and they told me that the part was lost and they will reorder it. I have called them multiple times and they said Hannah will give me a call back but I never received a call back. Whenever I talk to the front desk they tell me that the part is delayed and Hannah is in the shop. 4 MONTHS have passed and they have not fixed the issue. When repairing the trunk it is possible that they might have accidentally put on a model 3 brake light which caused the brake not to work and the signals to be different colors. I understand that we all are humans and can make mistakes. I just wish they would have fixed the issue without causing me stress and anxiety of the risk of getting a traffic citation and compromising traffic safety. In repairing my trunk, they did a great job. They definitely know what they're doing and in my opinion, I recommend going to Joey. Other than that, I am disappointed in the service I received in terms of my brake light but I would recommend bringing your tesla for any body repairs. Just be sure to thoroughly check your vehicle before and after to avoid what happened to me!!!! read more

I could not possibly be happier with my experience with Kniesel's Specialized in Rocklin. Took my Model 3 to Tesla for repair in September because it suddenly showed 20 or more errors. Tesla texted me while in service, and told me that they couldn't open the frunk. (I had personally opened and closed it two days prior--what was their problem?) Not only could they not open the frunk, but they REFUSED to fix it. Said I had to go to a body shop and get it cut open. Apparently, there is no manual way to open the frunk if the motorized operation fails. First body shop wanted over $3000 to cut it open, repair, then replace frunk cover. Took it to Kniesel's, and they ingeniously plotted a route to the mechanism by cutting from the bottom, sparing the cover/paint. They ordered parts, fitted me into their full schedule, and did all the work for 20% of the other shop's quoted price. They were courteous, fast, kept me up to date at all times, did a great job, and were wonderful to work with. I would go back there in a heartbeat. Could not be happier. Thanks, folks! read more

Took my Tesla Model 3 to Kniesel's for repairs due to an auto accident. Hannah Bravo showed me great customer service! My car was there for over a month and she kept me in the loop the entire time with updates. Picked up my car and it was good as new. A week later I noticed a stress crack in the back window that was to small to see prior to me picking up, but grew larger as I drove on the roads. I called Hannah and she saw me right away, ordered the parts and got my car back to me ASAP. There are a lot of great autobodies out there and Kniesel is definitely on top of the list, however that is not why I am writing this review. I rarely take the time to write a review, but I felt compelled to do so because of the exceptional customer service I received. Customer service is a lost art especially since the start of the pandemic. I was taken aback by the exceptional treatment I received.
