Rob, the owner of Auernig Auto Body is the best! Embarrassing fact: he has fixed my car twice in three years, both accidents my fault. The difference with Auernig Auto Body is that Rob works for you, not for the insurance companies. Both times, he fought to get my vehicle fixed perfectly with genuine factory parts. Last time, my first insurance estimate was 6k. That would've been a bad fix. Any other collision repair company would have acquiesced. This body shop is very honest. I talked to Dave and Rob about a front bumper that I wanted replaced. They were hesitant about doing the work and saying it might not be worth it. They recommended I look at some junk yards. I found one with the right color and brought it to them. Unfortunately , it turned out it had a crack. The one I got would just be a temporary fix before it falls apart. I had my car towed there and drove another car. Since its a bad bumper, I was stuck with two cars at their lot. This is an update to my previous 5 star review. After the initial minor damage to truck bed (Rob did an outstanding repair), my Ridgeline was smashed by snow up in the Sierra mountains, damagining the passenger side front fender, front and rear doors, and bed panel! Basically the entire right side of the truck! Rob and team worked with my insurance company to complete the repair. As Rob is aware, I am most particular and impossible to please. When Dave from Auernig called to tell me the repairs were complete, I lost sleep thinking about the complexity of these repairs; bumpers off, doors off, inner door panels removed, electronics disconnected, rear bed panel removed, trimmed removed, painting, realignment of all parts, etc. No way can this truck look factory new! I was WRONG. Rob and team exceeded my high expectations. It is hard to find a business that has such high standards and is unwilling to compromise the quality of work by bending to the insurance companies who only care about paying as little as possible on a claim. Rob, I have another 20+ years of driving left. So please don't consider retiring for that long!! read more

Had damage tp my rear lift gate on a 2019 Nissan Murrano (it had a fight with my garage door and lost.) I called 2 other repair shops recommend by my insurance company, got estimates both wanted the vehicle for 2 weeks and couldn't get to it for 2 months. Auernig gave me an estimate started the work 2 weeks later had it done in 5 days and as good as new! My insurance company wouldn't pay there estimate even though the shops they recommend were higher. But Auernig went to bat with the insurance company for the difference and got paid. Great service and excellent work.
