This little spot in wynwood gives you a Gentlemen's club kind of feel on the inside and a hidden garden feel on the outside with some dim lighting. Clean place! This is more of a chill "I don't want to run into anyone" kind of spot with a pool table and lots of space to lounge and talk. It's actually a great place for an event. Bday, graduation celebration or office party. Drink prices were ok and there is a food bar in case you need a snack. Hip hop playing low in the background. Pros: This was my second time at this bar and it was completely different last time I went (4-5 years ago). The indoor area was closed for renovations, but the patio looked amazing! The boxing rink for Celebrity Death March fit surprisingly well in the space. Thank you 1306 for hosting such a fun event! Cons: More bathroom stalls are needed, this will probably resolve itself when they open the indoor area again. I did like that the bathrooms were gender neutral! read more

One of my best finds of 2019 (it's January when I'm writing this so a little early). We were downtown Miami for an event at the Arsht and after wanted to have a drink nearby. There is a surprising lack of options in this part of downtown, but a little birdie had mentioned this joint to me. I know the area wasn't the best but it was what we had to work with. We drove the few blocks West to the area. As we parked I noted it feels sketchy in this 'hood. But I have a decent sense of when an area is a bad area or just run down. I felt the vibe was the later. We walked in to some pretty good tunes. There was a 4 piece rock band playing some rock/soul type tunes that really played well with the venue. Some gal jumped up on stage and even sang some Janice Joplin. The bartender was a friendly guy. He had our drinks to us quick. The place wasn't full at all. A few people playing pool, and a dozen watching the band and chilling. Apparently it was open mike night as a few of the other people jumped up and played along to different songs. It was a great time, with the open air setting of the place really adding to the great energy in this place. Sometimes I'm a little hesitant to advertise a great new spot in case the word spreads too much and it gets too big. But 1306 can handle a lot more people and still be cool. read more

This place is located where white room and eve used to be. White room and eve hosted some awesome music artists like skream, andy c, foreign beggars, and many many more. The renavated event space is terrific and the sound system is out of this world. With an added roof for projected light visuals and nice contemporary art all around this revamped venue is ready for some ground shaking fun. In the bar inside you can treat yourself to great craft beers and a great menu for cocktails. They sometimes have vendors inside for food. The location is easy to find and there is plenty of cheap parking all around. The staff is friendly and great vibes all around. This isn't a tourist trap spot. This place is all Miami. If you want a taste of the Miami underground, then stop by Bar 1306 for one of their events in the event space! read more

A great hidden bar on a quiet part of N. Miami Ave. There is a bar and an event space here. The bar has been completely redone and is welcoming and comfortable venue. The attention to detail creates a cool vibe that is easy to enjoy. The music has been great both times I've been here. The cocktails on the menu are specially created by C Virginia King and they are tasty. There are snacks and lite bites too. This place is definitely worth a visit. I'm hesitant about writing this review because I don't want this to become the new "hipster" spot. I do wish them well though, which is why I'm writing this: I've been here twice, once on a Saturday night and once on a Thursday. It's a small, cozy bar with 4-5 barstools, some comfy couches and multiple tables. Ambience is chill, prohibition like, dark and intimate. All cocktails are delicious. "Bitter fruit" is a nice refreshing grapefruit and prossecco concoction. "Grapes of Wrath" is perfect for sour lovers. If you're an "old fashioned" drink lover, please order the "Looking at me like you don't want me to go", the detail that goes into this drink is amazing. Lane, our bartender is simply awesome, she's easy to talk to, friendly, know's her drinks and has great taste in music. A cool spot hidden in N.Miami, our new favorite spot! read more

Although small, this place really makes up for its space. The people that own this place are able to really work with the space they have. I've come here several times and during all of those, I've never been disappointed. Incredible music and people and right in the heart of downtown Miami. I'd say the only quarrel I'd have would be with the people outside that try to take control of the parking but it's not the venues fault for that inconvienece since it is after all downtown Miami, the city of spontaneity. If you're in the area, come take a look, the venue is nice and enclosed, making it personal yet lively. The Bar At 1306 was my last stop on a Friday night. Grabbed one last drink and listened to the DJ for a bit before heading home. Quality The Bar At 1306 is an interesting space with both an indoor and outdoor area. It is setup perfect for DJs and bands as well as for other events like art shows. On Friday night they had multiple bars running inside the space as well as a food stand. The food stand looked like a temporary setup, so I would guess they rotate food providers on different nights. On this evening I was interested in grabbing one drink before calling it a night and my drink was perfectly fine. Quantity The drink I ordered was a decent size, which is all I could ask for. Value On Friday night they had a DJ performing, but they did not have a cover. The drinks are a bit pricey, but no worse than any similar spot in Miami. Ambiance The Bar At 1306 is located in Downtown Miami, about a block away from the other major institutions in the club district. The space itself is pretty cool and split into at least one indoor and one outdoor space. It seemed like other areas exist within the location, but were not open on this evening. The outdoor area is a boxed in space that has some covering, but still allows you to see the sky towards the entrance. They have a large raised stage outside and on this evening a DJ was performing a mix of hip-hop songs. Outside they also had a small bar and a small food station. It is a pretty large space and near the stage they had tons of space for plenty of people to dance to the music. I did not explore the inside area too much, but it had another bar as well as a more intimate performance area. Definitely enough room for a smaller band or DJ to perform without feeling too cramped. The whole space has a very modern feel and would seem to be a solid venue for an art or fashion show. Crowd I hadn't heard of the DJ before, but he had attracted a pretty large crowd. There were tons of people packed into the outdoor space looking to dance and drink the night away. It was definitely a younger crowd as well as one with a hipster feel. Service The bouncer was extremely friendly and had the crowd moving in quickly. The bartenders were very attentive and had the drinks coming out fast. I was impressed at the efficiency of the bar considering how busy it was. Much better than my usual Miami expectation. Parking Downtown Miami is one of my least favorite places to park even though parking can be found easily. It is just not a good area and the closest spots to the bar are under the nearby bridge. I highly recommend taking a cab or a car service and I caution wandering around too much in the area. Extra The Bar At 1306 is a cool spot that seems to blend the bar and club feel. I highly recommend checking out who is performing before heading over to make sure the music fits your mood. The staff is super friendly and the venue is cool, but still expect to pay a bit for drinks. I won't be running back here, but I would like to see what a live band could do with the space. read more

A pretty cool place has a pretty decent vibe. The night we went to there was a special David Bowie night. I felt like the DJ could've played more Bowie music though. We heard some nice classics, but for David Bowie tribute it could've been better. I did enjoy the drinks they had decent special that night; I'm not sure how it is on a regular night. The interior looks really interesting but that night was spent out in the patio and I do like the patio set up it's actually very very cool. So, I do hope to return and see what it's like on a regular night when they're not doing anything particularly special to really see what the people are like and the vibe is like. read more

Fun place, went to see a good show here last night. The bathroom situation was kind if gross as the toilet didn't work but that happens. Today i noticed my credit card bill where i was charged a $2 "on the rocks" fee for ordering Bourbons neat. I think a neat or on the rocks pour should have the same amount of alcohol so this is some shady Miami bar bullshit. What a bummer, won't go back. Lame. read more

Stumbled here on a Wednesday night with a girlfriend thinking it was ladies night when apparently that's no longer a thing! Bummer pero anyways I loved the vibe of the bar and even had great customer service from the bar manager. He made our drinks with great detail and was very easy to talk to. Not going to lie, it was a bit empty but the bars decor makes it cozy and you feel comfortable there. They have a pool table in the back for the fellas, which a few were playing. This is one of my favorite pregame spots in midtown- the owner is always there and is super chill, Danielle has your back! She makes a hella good mojito! The vibe is usually mellow and fun- most seating is outdoors under string lights. They usually play reggae or Caribbean music with a little rap and hip hop. Dance parties mix it up. Local artists and musicians. I've noticed it gets PACKED after midnight lately! Happy hour is super good- half off the bar for women and men! I go to clubs like LIV, IVY, Story, Ect. And get treated amazingly! & this small hole in the wall? I get middle aged men on a power trip talking down on me and instigating the situation to drive a reaction. Management seemed to have no issue with this as well as they just looked on. It's not what you say... it's how you say it. Also ways to handle situations and this staff is not equipped. I would have loved to been able to rave about this place to any and everyone as anyone in marketing knows the value in word of mouth. However, it's not the case. Don't waste your time. They do have live music, and I would probably change my rating to 4 stars if they had some good artists. The interior bar is very cool--lounge-y feel. There are also tables outside. I came here Friday night. When you walk in it feels dive, but when you walk out to their patio it feels like a completely different bar. The two DJ's spinning were amazing.
