The view is absolutely stunning!! The ambiance is really nice. They have a DJ but the music isn't overpowering so you can still have a conversation at the table. There is live entertainment and there were fireworks at dinner which was really nice! So now let's get into what really matters! The food was pretty average. I wouldn't order the chicken. It lacked flavor and was bland. The branzino was good! But the star of the night was the tiramisu it was absolutely delicious! I would recommend this place but I would probably suggest to come during happy hour to get the best bang for your buck.

JUST FOR THE VIEWS!! Service - 5 Food - 2 Ambience - 5 Price-to-quality ratio : 3 The Deck at Island Gardens is all about the views. The location is stunning, with an unbeatable backdrop of downtown Miami. The ambiance is great, and the service was solid--no complaints there. Now, onto the food. I only tried the happy hour menu, and honestly, it felt like it was designed for tourists who won't be coming back. The salmon crispy rice? Easily the worst I've ever had. The beef carpaccio? Laughably bad. And the pizza? I'd take a frozen one from the grocery store over what they served. For the prices they charge, the quality is seriously lacking. The price-to-quality ratio is just not there. That said, this place has a lot of potential. If they overhauled the menu and focused on delivering food that matches the setting, it could be amazing. The highlight of the night? The wine tasting put together by the Miami Guide team. I sampled five wines, and all were solid. My top picks were the Malbec and the Saint-Émilion Cab Sauvignon--both full-bodied with great structure. Definitely an experience worth repeating and I truly recommend for any one who loves to sip on great wines. Would I come back? For the views and maybe another wine tasting. For the food? Not unless they make some serious changes.

    You must try brunch!

I suggest coming to the Deck to try out their new brunch menu curated by Antonio Bachour. There is no better experience than enjoying a refreshing spritz while looking out on the water. The zucchini chips were a perfect satisfying crunch to start our meal. We tried the Greek and crab salad. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous helping of crab meat in the salad. Definitely save room for one of Bachour's famous desserts that are works of art that satisfy the eye and the palate. The service is fantastic. You'll feel like the queen of the sea!

I came here for the view, and stayed for dinner. And I gotta say, it was so worth it! I wanted to take pictures of the Miami skyline from this area so decided to make reservations at the restaurant. I was seated outside and the view of the city was beautiful. Yes, the big fancy yachts get in the way of the view, but it was still very nice. On to the food...I asked the waiter what he recommends and he mentioned that the Braised Short Rib Pappardelle was his favorite, so I decided to give it a try. It was fantastic, and I'm so happy that I ordered it. For dessert, I had the Chocolate Nemesis. It's a flourless chocolate cake with red wine gel, dark chocolate on top and 24k edible gold. Yes, it was delicious. The perfect dessert if you like chocolate. I recommend The Deck for a dinner with that special someone. The vibe is very relaxed and the view is spectacular.

Came here for New Year's, was expecting more of a party for the price. The view is pretty nice and you can see the fireworks at Bayside. Food was abundant but lacked flavor. Parking was around $35 but we took uber. Big mistake since getting out of the Island to downtown was around $60-$80. Price was $350 per person plus tax which included food and a bottle of champagne. We ordered another bottle Which was around $350. Food was 5 courses: cheese board, salad, seafood platter, fish & meat and desderts. They promised a show which was not much of a show, but one girl who was on stills and played with fire at some point. There was a saxophonist and a drummer who played ~2 songs on 2 sets. There was a DJ, the music was nice to be on your table eating but only a couple of songs invited you to dance and stand up. Definitely not the place to party on New Year's, if thats what you are looking for. They need a children area, i saw couple of children sleeping on the couches. People started to leave after 1am.

This place wasn't bad at all, really nice view of the yachts close by while having a bite. Service was great as well

The service was great! Jose at the bar took care of me. The ambiance was cute. I don't like that the bar faces a wall instead of the restaurant or marina, but I still enjoyed myself. The food was good. I expected more greenery in my salad than was presented but everything was fresh, so I would get the buratta salad again but I left hungry. I will say it took a while for the hostess to seat guests. I waited in the hostess line (unnecessarily) for 10 minutes and it wasn't very busy.

We came by a group of four of us. Parking was easy and the atmosphere was very nice. The service could be better. It was a little slow and my water glass stayed empty. Prices are a bit high here but the food and mixed drinks were very good.

Gaga, our waitress, was great! The deck is a great place to relax with friends and has great views of the water and the city!

I saw this place mentioned on Instagram. I was in Miami for the weekend and made reservations on open table app to take advantage of this spectacular brunch experience in the heart of Miami. It's $75 per person which includes their brunch Buffet and one Mimosa. They do have another option where you can pay 135 per person for brunch buffet and unlimited mimosas. They have all types of delicious food. Anything from seafood cocktail shrimp Oyster's octopus ceviche to barbecue meats with chimichurri sauce to paella to an omelette station to a huge Parmesan cheese bowl where they marinate and cook you pasta to amazing perfection, delicious dessert options such as chocolate, croissants, fresh fruits, Greek yogurt, berries, fig cake and almond delight cake rippled in gold flakes, strawberry shortcake so good!! The Mimosa's were on point! The view was spectacular. It wasn't too crowded beautiful happy people everywhere. We had outdoor seating under shaded area so we weren't attacked by the sun. They also had a live DJ play and sing music. It was most definitely a five and a must do one in Miami.

A great romantic dinner or showstopper event dinner spot with outstanding views of downtown. This all outdoor restaurant serves a great variety of yummy dishes. The octopus was my favorite! There are many servers and staff roaming around making finding help super easy will be back :)

The food here is always amazing, and I absolutely love the live music every-time I visit. However, my 3 star rating is due to the service. Every time I've visited the service has been so underwhelming, especially on our last visit. Our server was incredibly rude. I think the servers should be trainer a little better. Aside of this, the actual food, drinks, music and views are amazing! My favorite things to get here include the pear and truffle pizza, the mushroom risotto, lobster ravioli and tuna tartare.

Whhhhat an experience!!!! Going there on a sunday was the right thing to do. The vibe there is immaculate. From the fire lady to the staffs dancing, spinning cloths in the air i loved it! Drinks: The drinks were deliciouss!! So much flavor and jus enough alcohol. I got the islander and it wasss so good!! Food: We had a charcuterie board for appetizer, it was a good amount for the price. For entree, i had the lamb and i think for me that was my con, idk it was just lamb on there. Portion was good but it did not come with any sides so u had to pay additional for a side and I got truffle fries and it was okay, ive had better tbh. So idk i guess for me the food didnt do too too good. I was expecting better. Dessert: Omg we had the tres leches and it was so so good! Def my favorite part! Coming back or nah? I wanna come back for Brunch sooo yess im coming back!

The moment we walked in, we were transported right back to Greece. The décor is beautiful and authentic without feeling forced. Every detail adds to the charm of the space. We decided to keep things light and ordered the zucchini chips along with a special appetizer featuring whipped feta, roasted eggplant, arugula, and pistachios. Both dishes were excellent. The whipped feta dish was bright, fresh, and packed with flavor, while the zucchini chips were perfectly cooked they were light, crisp, and addictive. My daughter ordered the non-alcoholic dragon fruit "martini" and absolutely loved it. It was tropical, refreshing, and felt like a special treat. I went with the white sangria. It tasted a little more watered down than I expected, but it was still refreshing and enjoyable on a warm Miami afternoon. The service was excellent throughout our visit, and the atmosphere alone makes this place worth a stop. Between the beautiful setting, delicious food, and attentive staff, Mandolin is a place I'll happily return to the next time I'm in Miami.

Seating is mostly outdoors and beautifully decorated, definitely a nice selection for an intimate event. Service was wonderful! The spanakopita was nicely flaky, the spinach filling wasn't overly bitter or pungent (my boyfriend is not a fan of strong feta flavors and enjoyed this while I am a feta enthusiast, we felt that this was right in the middle of our demands which worked great). We both love moussaka which is what my boyfriend ended up getting, dare we say it was our favorite moussaka out of any Greek restaurant in America thus far (coming from New Yorkers frequently visiting Astoria). It was broiled to perfection to give the cheese/béchamel layer a light crunch at the top and maintaining that richness underneath. The eggplant and ground meat were well seasoned. I really enjoyed my stuffed peppers as well (rice pilaf, ground beef, and feta on top), the tomato broth/sauce gave a nice sweet and savory flavor with the meal. Finally, a superb pistachio baklava, 10/10. Super impressed with what Miami had to offer for Mediterranean.

It a wrap that was cut in form of sushi. It was good. I was hesitant about ordering chicken wings but I'm so glad we did because they were so delicious and crispy. They may have been the best chicken wing I've had. The service was excellent. I accidentally dropped my cocktail and they immediately cleaned it up and moved us to another clean table. I apologized for dropping it but not once did they made me feel bad about it. Instead, one of the staff stated it was an indication of having a great time. They also replaced my drink at no extra cost. A guy, who I assumed was the manager or owner, also passed by our table and ensured we were enjoying our time. Our server mistakenly brought me the wrong drink that I ordered, but I did not mind it because I actually loved the Moroccan Mojito and instead ordered another one. I also loved how they have copper cups because it makes water taste so much better. Their attention to small details like that makes the difference. We ordered the beef kabobs, which were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the ribeye steak was a major disappointment. For context, I worked in fine dining in New York and Miami for almost 20 years, so I notice the details immediately, hospitality, management presence, the energy of a room. You can usually tell pretty quickly what kind of operation you're dealing with. We were a party of five. I arrived with my four-year-old son and was greeted warmly by the hostess. That warmth ended instantly. Standing directly behind her were two managers in suits blocking the main entrance. Both looked straight at me and my child and said absolutely nothing. No hello, no smile, no acknowledgment. Anyone in hospitality knows that moment sets the tone. As an Arab woman who grew up around a culture where hospitality is everything, it was already a bad sign. We were seated outside and the vibe stayed cold. Unfortunately, the food matched it. We ordered a lot because I genuinely wanted to give the kitchen a fair shot. I grew up eating Lebanese food and what stood out most was the lack of soul. Everything felt flat, like it needed salt, lemon, brightness, that warm Mediterranean seasoning Lebanese food is known for. The tabouli was especially shocking. A $20+ tabouli with no bulgur that was so roughly chopped it was basically whole parsley leaves and slices of onion. Any Lebanese auntie would die at the sight of it. At one point I asked our server if they had harissa or any kind of spicy sauce. She said the only option was Sriracha. In a Lebanese restaurant that charges $18 for a tablespoon of hummus. An Asian chili sauce as the only option. What made it even stranger is that harissa is listed on multiple dishes on the menu, so it clearly exists somewhere in the building. I asked for the Sriracha anyway out of desperation for flavor. It never came. Same with ketchup for my toddler's fries, it took three requests. Throughout the meal I walked around the restaurant several times taking my son to the bathroom, looking around the space, even going upstairs to the lounge. Not a single person acknowledged us. Not a host, not a server, not a manager. The bar is right by the entrance and every time we looked over at the bartender and bar manager, just blank stares. At one point we were clearly standing there confused looking for the bathroom in an empty restaurant and still had to say "Excuse me, where is the bathroom?" Wild. Later I walked up to the bar myself to ask if they carried mezcal. After dinner I went back to order one. Same energy--zero warmth, zero engagement. And this is with an automatic 20% gratuity already on the bill. The mezcal was a $25 two-ounce pour and I still had to ask for an orange slice garnish because no one offered it. Empty bar, two people behind it, and I still had to request it. Also worth noting, our reservation was at 5:45pm and the restaurant was practically empty. Yet I didn't see a single manager walking the floor, greeting tables, or checking on guests. I had talked this place up to my party because I'd been so curious about it for years, and it was honestly a huge letdown. If you know Lebanese food and understand Middle Eastern warmth and hospitality, this probably isn't the place for you. Expect cold, almost nonexistent hospitality and food that feels stripped of the soul that makes Lebanese cuisine special. The space is beautiful. I'll give them that. Everything else felt like a very on-brand Miami disappointment, what happens when you give people a beautiful restaurant, expensive food, automatic gratuity, and no leadership. From the lack of authenticity and attention to detail, it's hard to believe anyone truly Lebanese is behind this operation. If anything, it feels more like a polished money grab. Honestly, it might have been less jarring if they just called themselves "Mediterranean" like so many other places in this city. But if you're going to call yourself a Lebanese restaurant, the culture and hospitality should actually be there.

Everything I've had was delicious with tons of flavor and huge portions. Both times I took enough leftovers for another meal! I especially love their zucchini fritters and their spread plate. All their spreads are so fresh and flavorful but their hummus especially was soo good. My husband and I shared the meat platter for two for dinner and enjoyed everything on it - the loukaniko was especially delicious! For dessert, you can't miss the galatoboureko, a sweet custard dessert with the flaky phyllo dough you know and love from baklava. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend for a lunch date or dinner date and it's super versatile: great for friends, families or romantic dates. Don't miss this beautiful restaurant in downtown!

Oh my God where do I start! We had the best date night. This place is so amazing. I went with low…read moreexpectations given my knowledge and experience with mediterranean food in miami: small portions, bland taste. This is completely different and out of this world! The food is super tasty, super fresh, portions are adequate without paying a steep price. The salad: we got a greek salad, it was way bigger than what we expected, the tomatos and feta cheese were delicious and my fiance thought that this was the star dish. Its not your basic salad. The waitress prepared it right infront of us and cut fresh tomatos and veggies on a station. Saganaki: must order, this was my favorite dish. Even though its such a simple ingredient (cheese) the flavor is crazy, they torched it and heated it infront of us and we couldn't stop eating it Souvlaki: the chicken was delicious, we got two full skewers, they serve it with fries and their special sauce which is so delicious! Even the fries were delicious and well seasoned! Octopus: this was mind blowing, especially with the meraki sauce. This is technically an appetizer but feels like a whole dish!! And its only for $24 whereas other places tend to overcharge! We had planned to order more but by that time we were full. The menu is rich and there is still so much to try. We will be heading here more frequently and sharing with you our dishes!! 5 stars well deserved! Instagram: @ri_reviews961
