Started using Knight in 2011 when I purchased my first house. I hired them for lawn care and pest control. Roger, I believe was our first pest tech. Great dude. Even after Roger was moved from our account, we never had an issue with Knight. The grass always looked good and we pest free. Unfortunately, we fell upon tough financial times and had to stop service. When the time came around to re-activate our services, I was unable to connect with Knight, so I had to go with another service provider. I went through 3 different companies, some only did my lawn (poorly) and not pest services. Eventually, I was able to get in touch with Knight and hired them back. Things were different now. It didn't feel as personable as it once did, but whatever, it is what is... My lawn never really took back off. One tech, told me he may have accidentally burned a section out and they would have to plug it. So... another tech came out and told my wife that we don't water enough... Really? So I had a manager come out. HE told me we had chinch bugs! What?!? Now if this was the case, shouldn't your other two techs have seen this and started working to correct the problem? Come on now.... One of the last pest techs we had out, did not come into the house like they normally do... I found it odd, but I was not home (my wife was). Knight would always come in and do interior pest control. I complained... We are paying for something we did not receive. A week later we had TONS of sugar ants in the house. They were EVERYWHERE!!!! So I called knight, they sent out a different pest tech. The positive to this review was that tech was AWESOME. He helped eliminate the ants, until a week later when they returned. So, I called them back.... The tech came back and after searching found a nest and eliminated it. Luckily since then, we have not seen ants (until today, prompting this review). They just up and left. Stopped coming out for service calls... They dumped US! In 2011 I would recommend them. in 2016, NO WAY!!!! Pass on Knight! read more

I hired them in 2014 when we experienced bed bugs. The tech was friendly and we got them eliminated very quickly within the quoted price. Three years later and they never came back. However, I hired them in April 2017 to take care of a new roach problem that sprang up and after the initial service it was very difficult to get anyone to come out and do maintenance. I have called several times and never get a call back and the roaches backed off for about a week but have started cropping up again even though we cleaned the house from top to bottom. I'm trying to get pest control services from another company right now. Tired of feeling like my business isn't important enough to them and I'm not seeing any real results with their product anyway. read more

I am a real estate professional. Just had a termite inspection by Knight Pest Control at one of my client's properties for sale. The technician was about a half hour late. Within 2 minutes he has determined that the house has termite damage and immediately started measuring for a quote. He was contracted by the Buyers to do a termite inspection only! Interestingly 3 months ago the same company, Knight Pest Control did another termite inspection of the same home, no termites, clean report. The technician at this time has found nothing in the ENTIRE home except one spot /which in my opinion is questionable, a piece of dry wood/ , but I am not a termite expert. Besides that the Seller now has to treat the home / his estimate is for $ 601.00!!/ in order to move on with the sale, he also tried to sell the buyers an extended service contract, right on the spot. The intension was quite transparent. The question is, which termite report is accurate? The first one or the second? Unfortunately I am not in the position to file a complaint about the whole experience, but the Seller is. read more

They misquoted in a real estate deal- admitted error because of poor assumptions and then weren't helpful trying to resolve it. Just had a "take it or leave it" attitude. Bad customer service experience. read more

I have been using Knight Pest Control for about 2 weeks. They came out for a rodent problem that I had. They have missed several access points that I have had to point out to the inspector over the course of the past week , and that being the case it's still enters my pantry every night and eats a hole through my food packages. So I called their office frustrated this morning. I spoke with the secretary and used profanity, the f word, only twice. I used it as I referenced the rat, the Secretary of started to get mad so I told her I was referring to the rats and I wasn't speaking to her or swearing at her. She then says "well you might speak to your wife and your children like that but you're not going to speak to me that way". I then asked to speak to her supervisor and the owner got on the phone. I told him that I was referencing the rat and not swearing at her and he told me that he understands because sometimes it's hard for him to hold his composure when he's frustrated. I brought up with the secretary had said and he kept ignoring it and trying to sweep it under the rug. right as I was about to get off the phone with him he says "just so you know the woman you spoke with as a devout Christian so I can't tell her she is wrong for what she said." okay just so you know first off if you're a secretary you should be able to maintain your composure and general second religion shouldn't be introduced into a workplace if it compromises the disposition of your workers especially if they deal in public relations. read more
