Updating this review due to the damage they caused to my personal property. I have spoke. To Jeff, the office manager several times who claims he has asked the owner to resolve this problem but after 3 months the owner still hasn't contacted me now has Jeff called me back. I would not recommend them anymore due to vandalism and terrible customer service. I am attaching picture of a worker who helped himself to the gas blower in my garage and then flooded out the engine and simply put it back. I also caught them on video breaking a wooden bench rocker. Instead of doing the right thing, the professional thing by telling me they broke it they just left it in a pile with no mention. Just trash people and trash company. Update to comments about bogus trip charges there weren't conveyed to me at the the time or service. Haha. Laughable. You can't add a bunch of charges to a bill after you go to a house, break my personal belongings and then get called out publicly with receipts. Hope any of you prospective customers take note on the unprofessionalism of this company. Another lie by the company. No one told me anything about these surprise charges before the service was rendered. This is the first time I'm hearing this as Jeff never told me about these during any of our multiple conversations on the phone. I'm adding screenshots of all the emails I have sent to their office asking to be compensated for the personal items they broke and never told me about. I started a Yelp project to get prices for having my 750 sq ft condo sprayed for pests. Yelp sent my project details to 4 reputable pest control companies. Brantley Termite & Pest Control is the ONLY company that answered my question! Of the others, one wanted a phone interview before a home inspection, one wanted a home inspection with free estimates, and one did not respond at all. All I wanted was to do some comparison shopping without investing a lot of my time on interviews and inspections! Spraying depends on the square footage of the condo. I don't understand why I couldn't get quotes. Brantley answered my question without insisting on interviews and home consultations. At this point, I don't care if their price is competitive or not, because Brantley is not trying to waste my valuable time. read more

We contacted Brantley and they came out quickly after we requested a service to asses our situation. After a consultation they gave us an initial treatment and set us up with a routine treatment. Being Florida, we knew we'd see bugs from time to time, they've come out to retreat between sprays a couple times in a quick manner. I was very impressed by the thorough job Brantley did. I had eastern sub terranean termites swarm inside my house. Brantley came out and treated the entire perimeter of the house and treated my attic. I am confident my termite problem has been solved. I found the company very responsive. I regret that I waited until a swarm appeared since that means damage had already been done. I'd recommend Brantley to anybody for either preventive treatment or treatment of activity. read more

Originally had my new home tented for termites before moving in. Everything seemed to be going great. Beau was the guy I spoke to for tenting and he did a great job working with us. He explained that there are 3 types of termites and nothing active in our home so he felt comfortable only treating for dry wood termites. Fast forward to less than 6 months later and it's termite season. Found a swarm on our front porch on Thursday night. Called on Friday and was told the technician would call me back... called again 3 hours later and then the technician called me back with no availability til Tuesday. I was able to send him pictures and he told me not to clean up the termites. After his inspection today he told me, unfortunately, we have to tent and treat for subterranean termites, which were not covered. I've been told multiple times by this company that there are no preventative treatments. The technicians were all very nice, as well as everyone who answers the phone, but tenting twice in less than 6 months... come on. Apparently subterranean termites are also super common in this area. Wish I could have treated my home for these during the original tenting... needless to say, I'm getting a second opinion. read more

I inherited my brother's mobile home in St. Petersburg recently and needed to have it fumigated ASAP. I live on the West Coast and had no idea who to call. I called Brantley and explained my situation. The ladies in the office were kind, knowledgeable and understanding of my needs and situation. I was in a time crunch to get furniture fumigated, due to termites, before moving. I was going through every renters nightmare!! I had less than 3wks to find a place that would fumigate some of my furniture that I couldn't afford to replace or was invaluable. After many calls Orkin said that they provided that service. After a week waiting for someone to call me back to set up an appointment I had to call them back to find out the Orkin in my location DOESN'T provide that service but the woman did refer me to Brantley. I called them on 6/25 and was able to drop on the next day and pick my furniture up on 6/30 (last day of needing to be out of my apartment). I was originally quoted $175 more and when I arrived Jeff said that he should be able to get it all in the vault for one fumigation. I paid less than originally expected. The whole process was quick and painless. I give 5 stars because everyone was pleasant and they REALLY helped me during an extremely situation. He showed concern for my plants, letting me know to soak the roots before the tent goes on to save the plants. I didn't lose even one plant. Phenomenal Company! Great customer service, fantastic field staff, and an all around amazing company to do business with. My company buys and flips houses and we have a couple hundred rentals. It's my responsibility to source and manage our vendors. At the volume we are doing, I don't have the time or energy to deal with head aches. Brantley puts 5 vacant homes a month and at least 3 or 4 of our occupied rentals a year under a tent. I have never had an issue with either their workmanship, their communication, or their customer service. I have probably dealt with most of the staff and every one of them has been courteous and efficient in taking care of our needs. The tenants with whom Brantley has worked love them as well. Our tenants know that I value their feedback on workers that come into their homes and they would not hesitate to let me know about a bad experience. I have never gotten a bad review for Brantley. If I could give them extra stars for my tenants I certainly would. You will not regret doing business with these folks. read more

They finally showed up and promised a quote, but haven't heard from them since. I was promised a phone call a few times and then an email with the quote. Never received any. Oh well. Very unprofessional. 5 hrs late while my 78 year old Aunt & I waited outside. Lied as to next arrival time. Did not post sign on door indicating it was safe to re-enter home. Addressed complaint with owner Ed Brantley & he was very unconcerned because "the bugs were dead & so we did our job & did it well". There is more to a job than just the tenting & exterminating. There is also keeping customer truthfully informed of delays as to arrival & following through at the end with notification that it is safe to re-enter. Very poor professionalism with regard to both. We would never recommend this company as a result. read more
