Had an awful experience today as asked for an emergency appointment and was told to call at 2.30 pm. When I managed to get through at 2.29 a bit earlier just in case, I was told by the same receptionist (Anne) that there is no single appointment left. Understandingly I wanted to know when these emergency slots were taken, I did not received any explanation , but was invited to come and see the nurse, I insisted that with my problem I need to see the doctor ( this is my first day after medical operation under common anaesthetic). I went there, the nurse ( Margaret) checked my blood pressure ( which was at the edge, quoting the nurse Margaret here ) and then the receptionist spoke the nurse and decided that I will be able to cope until next week. The receptionist Anne kindly offered me a appointment 'early next week, which means I need to wait for an other 4 days at least. I have not been to this practice for 2 years and ii feel that I neglected by the receptionist and the nurse, I believe that the doctor was not involved at all.
Looking forward to hearing from you, thank you,
