I had to see a specialist here today a few months after i wrote this review. the care i received was excellent and the staff i met jolly and helpful. however the toilets in reception were still not up to standard. the disabled one and a cubicle in the ladies were out of order. Out patients 2 and the pharmacy were lovely and clean. There is even a tv in the pharmacy now to pass the time. It is a good hospital but the cleanliness in the loos worry me especially as they have had MRSA outbreaks.

It was more or less 2 breast sizes difference between the two. I found Mr Maisam Fazel online and was so impressed by the reviews on him and his website (http://www.refreshcosmeticsurgery.com) that I decided that he was the right surgeon for me, even before meeting him! When I first met him, it just reassured me That I was making the right decision. From the onset I felt comfortable and that I could ask any questions needed (although I didn't need to ask many as he was so clear throughout). I finally went for my surgery in August after deciding on 600 & 750 implants. Once that surgery was over, the healing process was as easy as it could be and I was off of painkillers after 5 days. Now that it has been 5 months since surgery, I have never been happier! My breasts are so even and so natural that anybody that didn't know I was having surgery before hasn't even noticed (as I used to cover up so much before anyway!) There is not a bad word I could say about Mr Fazel or the process I went through, pre and post surgery, I only try to thank him for everything!!!

It's incredibly close to the M25 and as such see much RTA action in its A&E department. All of the major types of medical specialisms are dealt with here either on an in-patient or an out-patient basis. As well as being a general hospital St Peter's is known for some of its specialities in particular its neo-natal unit. This unit is not without controversy and the standard of maternity care was, for several years, classed as very poor. Having used these services I can say that pre-natal care is very good but post-natal care for the mother is poor. The neo-natal unit, however, maintains a strong reputation. The A&E department is always busy and thankfully is split into a regular department and a paediatric department making it a good place for children. Parking at the hospital can be a nightmare as there are never enough spaces. Allow at least 30 minutes before any appointment to get parked and, if possible, go with someone else so that if you don't get a space at least you can be dropped off! You have to pay for parking and season tickets are available. The Friends of St Peter's perform a very good service and staff in general are friendly and reasonably efficient. It's certainly no worse than the majority of NHS hospitals.

They deal with high risk pregnancies, general surgery, accident and emergency and clinics. I had my second child here, and overall had a very good experience with labour and the midwives, but the post delivery ward is very busy and I felt somewhat forgotten many times. I found the bathrooms to be exceptionally dirty. The nurses in the Special Care ward were amazing with both the babies they were looking after, and trying to ease the concerns of the parents while informing them of what was happening.

However, having been put off by Queen Alexandra's Hospital in Portsmouth by their lack of physical tour (you have to get by with a substandard YouTube video), and also feedback from others that it was a busy hospital and somewhat akin to a sausage machine (I had one story of someone being in and out in 12 hours - and they didn't necessarily want to be processed so quickly), I decided to opt for Chichester. It was the right choice - indeed quieter, albeit a bit older looking, but still fit for purpose. This maternity ward is very well run, the midwife was very good and I got the epidural that I wanted (needed!) for my third baby. I would definitely recommend this hospital to any nervous mums. Getting the tour and having a chance to ask questions and familiarize oneself with the layout was really helpful in orientating me to the NHS way and allaying any fears/answering questions. My only pick up point was infant security. As I left the hospital the receptionist let me swan out - no outgoing checks, no bracelet checking, no escort to the door, nothing. It made me wonder what the protocol was should there be an attempted baby theft...

I was rushed by ambulance to the Hillingdon Hospital and was treated for a lung infection that triggered a massive asthma attach. The people were all very kind, but the hospital is in horrible shape.. I was shocked to see the lack of cleanliness and updated modern conveniences. No bathroom in a ward of very sick coughing women. I thought the woman across from me would die before my eyes. I was asked to pay 5,000 dollars within the hour to be treated. (not everyone could do this) I can say that I feel they saved my life...many breathing treatments, IV steroids and strong antibiotics. They did agree to finally give me an CT scan to check for a blood clot. I do understand this is Socialized Medicine, but I really felt sorry for the poor care of the property.. old, not painted and dirty for anyone who had no choice but to be there. I always thought Socialized would be a bit more Equalized for EVERYONE. I do thank you for helping me continue our trip to Greece which we had planned for many years. I am back in the USA and feeling well. Your staff is wonderful, but that hospital needs repair and cleaning especially if you are sending people there from outside your country....it is not a showcase for London.
