BEWARE of this hotels dishonest practices!!!!! I stayed at this Holiday Inn for over 30 days,…read morespending more than $5,200 during an extended stay. I paid day by day, in person, and received new room keys daily after each payment. On the final day of my stay, I received a fraud alert from my bank for a $935 charge from the hotel. I immediately contacted the front desk and was told it was an error and that everything was fine. Despite this reassurance, my card continued to receive multiple attempted charges totaling nearly $3,900. Later that morning (around 11:30 AM), I was contacted by staff and told there were days I supposedly had not paid. This made no sense, as I had gone to the front desk every single day to pay and receive new keys. I was given a printed statement, which they admitted still needed to be reviewed. At this point, I was locked out of my room, which contained all of my personal belongings. I was told the manager, Phillip, would call me. When I spoke with him, he listed three dates I allegedly did not pay--all of which I could verify with receipts from my bank. He then stated the front desk staff had made errors and implied that if the charges weren't covered, the employees would have to pay out of pocket. Still, no clear explanation was provided. Instead of resolving the issue, the manager stated he was off for the day (at 4 PM) and told me I would have to meet another manager at 7 AM the next morning at an entirely different hotel to discuss my account and retrieve my belongings and that "I just did not want to pay"When I asked to speak with someone who could help immediately, he hung up on me. When I called back, he hung up again. I returned to the property explaining that I had prescription medication inside my room that I urgently needed, yet I was still forced to pay an additional $535 under duress just to regain access. Even then, staff admitted multiple errors were made on their end but could not explain which dates were unpaid or why these issues occurred. After spending over $5,000 at this hotel, I was treated with a complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and accountability. This experience was unacceptable and deeply distressing. Long-term guests should never be treated this way, especially when mistakes are acknowledged as being the hotel's fault.

We had stayed at this hotel before and had a very good experience, which made this recent…read morefive-night stay across three rooms especially disappointing. The property no longer feels like the hotel we remembered, and the overall cleanliness, breakfast, and customer service have noticeably declined. On our first night, we opened the pull-out sofa for our child and found Cheetos, Cheetos stains, and hair on the bedding. We had to go to the front desk ourselves to report the issue and obtain clean bedding. It was extremely unpleasant and concerning that the sleeping area had not been properly cleaned. We also repeatedly experienced problems with the new coffee machines, which produced poor-quality coffee with grounds in the cups. I reported the issue to three breakfast staff members and a front desk employee, but nothing improved. After checkout, we learned that K-cups were available at the front desk, but no one mentioned this alternative when we first reported the problem. The breakfast offerings have also declined significantly. There were fewer choices, little variety from day to day, bacon only once during our five-day stay, and no longer a juice machine. Cookies that were previously available at check-in were also gone. When my sister asked about the cookies, she was told they were only made depending on "who is working and if they want to make them." Regardless of whether cookies are guaranteed, the response felt dismissive and unnecessarily rude. The most frustrating issue involved a disputed towel charge. I was charged for a towel stain that I do not believe we caused and contacted the hotel to question it. After my initial call, I followed up twice by email and received no response for weeks. I eventually had to contact the corporate office to get someone to address my concern, and only after that--and a third email to the hotel--did I finally receive a response. The lack of communication was extremely frustrating, particularly given that we had already dealt with a significant housekeeping issue ourselves on the first night. Individually, some of these issues might seem minor, but together they reflect a noticeable decline in cleanliness, consistency, communication, and customer service. We understand that ownership or operations can change, but those changes should not come at the expense of basic guest care. Overall, this stay was a major disappointment compared with our previous experiences. The repeated housekeeping and coffee problems, reduced breakfast offerings, dismissive staff interactions, disputed charge, and especially the lack of follow-up from management left us feeling that our concerns were not important. We hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously, because there is a significant difference between the experience we once enjoyed and what we experienced this time.
