This one in particular served me a deep dish pizza with tomatoes that were not requested, the pizza dough was thin and undercooked, and put WAY too much cheese on it. This was very disappointing. Unbelievable..... AGAIN! no egg in the salads after a 20 minute wait! and this is not the first time. And by the way - staff is told by owner/ or manager on duty tonite to disconnect the phone so no Calls come in for orders. This happens one hour before they close so folks : don't call after 8 PM. I was told it would be about 5 min before the pizza would be done... no big deal BUT I waited 20 min and finally went to the counter to see what was taking so long only to find out the pizza had been sitting under the warmer for over 10 min! We stopped in today for one of the family options, 2 large pizzas and some cheese bread, which was a really good deal. The young woman at the counter was really quick and helpful and the wait for the pizzas was short. The cheesy bread was really great and the pizzas were also excellent. The crust, which seems to be the hardest thing to find done right, was perfect and tasted so good! Since we are only visiting our son, he got to keep the leftovers.....a little sad about that. Watched as he and his brother added locations, closed locations, have other family, including his daughter, who opened the newest location on Douglas downtown, work in the business, leave and return. Very disappointed in the small amount of toppings. Knolla's was very good at one time but we have had two orders in a row that were very sparse on toppings. I've bought a frozen pizza at a grocery store with more toppings. I left them feedback on their website and got no response. Pretty disappointed in this pepperoni pizza. I ordered over the phone, and was told it would be ready in 25 min. When I showed up 25 min later, they said that they were just about to put the pizza in the oven so it will be an extra 10 min. Visited family so stayed at the hotel right next door to this pizza place. Walked over for dinner and ordered chicago style cheese pizza and salad. Liked how it's deep crust. Was Suprised how good the food was since was a small pizza place in the corner of a little shopping strip. Food was made fast while my son and I waited. Front cashier girl was nice and friendly. Only downside was wanted to order a large cheese to split with my son but was told had no more large size dough so therefore had to order 3 small personal size. I was disappointed to find out they no longer deliver. I called to confirm and the young lady who answered the phone was short and rude whn i asked about delivery as if she were offended. I don't think I know of a pizza place that DOESN'T deliver. Used their online ordering to order a half and half Large Pizza. Based on how it asks you to choose toppings, I ordered the wrong combinations. When I arrived, the young lady confirmed my order and it was not correct. I told her what I thought I had ordered. Her response was to hold the receipt to my face and tell me'"Well, that's what you ordered" in a tone that was more like 'I won!' instead of 'How can I make this right for you." She just looked at me and offered no solution and just stared. So I took a pizza home where we had to take all of the toppings off and rebuild it. Lovely experience! We've always enjoyed the pizza, but with delivery no longer available and this very poor experience, I think we'll be able to find another Pizza delivery option. read more
