Have not had a Godfather's pizza in decades as it was not available in Texas. Upon return to Kansas, it needed a visit. The location in a shopping area is small but clean. I had wanted to try the advertised buffet, but it was not available. There was a lunch special of two mini pizzas with one topping, so spouse and I tried that. I didn't care for the sauce, but then that is a checkpoint for me with every pizza. The cheese was a little too browned but still "cheesy." Service was "meh." The counter help looked bored with her job and I didn't feel like my business was welcomed. More pickup and carry out customers than dine-in, but it's a good location for that. read more

When I go on roads trips on jobs outside of Tulsa I have to find Godfathers at the Loves Gas Stations and they fantastic. Imagine the pure joy that flooded my fatty heart when I learned that an ACTUAL Godfather RESTAURANT existed there. I was amazed how many did not realize ONE was left. The AC went out in the car. Sun beating down as I sweated with anticipation for 11 am to come. Then they opened. The store was clean. The order taker was awesome. The pizza...Classic Combo. Small yield of six pieces. Extremely disappointed in my trip today. Being an ex manager at two locations in Wichita I am terribly saddened by the fall of this stores business skills and customer service. It seems we just throw the pizza together to get it out of the way. I ordered two half and half pizza extra sauce. Neither were actually half and half and had no sauce. I called and they offered a credit of one pizza. This is rediculous all the way around. So drove all the way across town to try Godfathers. Last one in town and all of that. Enjoyed the heck out of them when there were a lot of them in town. Wow. What a letdown. 2 medium pizzas and 2 drinks WITH a 4$ off coupon, right at $40!!!! Ok, I splurged. Then sat down to see what $40 worth of pizza tasted like. Friends and I started talking. Watched others get their food. Waited....watched....waited. Finally 45 minutes later GF went up to find out where our food was. Um, er, ah...let me check. Yup, you guessed it. Ate at the only Godfather's left in Wichita. Used to always eat there as a teen and young adult. It was a Monday evening so they weren't busy. The food was pretty much as I remember it. We ordered a medium combo special with a side of monkey bread. The pizza was thick with generous toppings. Very hot and not at all soggy like some places we have gone. It is not super spicy which for us is good. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. There interior is up to date, clean, not fancy. Looking v forward to going back again. Wish there were more in Wichita and closer to home. read more

We were driving through on 35 and called in our pizza order, and when we told them about when we'd arrive they timed the baking so that we picked it up nice and hot right out of the oven--delicious! Visited Godfather's Pizza last night. It has been a tradition from about 15 to 20 years ago to take our kids to Godfathers. Now that my wife and I have moved to Atlanta Georgia, and the kids have grown up, we thought it would be fun to go there again. We had over 25 of us between the adults and their kids,and none of us left hungry. The manager was very accommodating for our large group. Godfathers is actually the best pizza in Wichita Kansas. This is hands down the best pizza in the city bar none. The sauce, toppings, cheese, and crust, everything is the best. 2nd best is Picasso's but they don't sell a normal size pizza, only by the slice, forget it! Godfather's pizza is so well balanced and delicious. I remember when Pizza Hut used to be the best but now it is a 0. No other pizza business in Wichita Kansas equals God fathers by even 10%. Ok, an update in the form of a comparison between Godfather's and Little Caesar's....This Godfather's charged me $34.00 for 2 each 8" sized pizzas - a very small supreme, and a very small pepperoni and beef. Wow, after my fiancee and I ate, we were a tiny bit full...their menu says that a small pizza will feed 2-3 people...really? Maybe if the 2-3 people are toddlers, or 2 foot tall pygmies that have already eaten in their Amazon jungle habitat....lol Now with the Little Caesar's that I just got at the South Seneca location (a regular spot for me).... I paid less than $20 for a large 5 meat pizza (new add), and an Extra Most Pepperoni pizza, and an order of crazy bread with sauce.....the quality of the Little Caesar's easily matched the Godfather's in taste, and for less than $3 more than ONE of the skimpy small pizzas from Godfather's, I've got easily 4 to 5 times as much great food as BOTH of the Godfather's whimpy pizzas...our tummies, and bank accounts are much more satisfied with Little Caesar's over this mafia-like dump....I still have a lot of food left over for after work tonight after both of us have eaten completely, spending less than $20....Godfather's, you suck for air! read more

Called two days later for exact same deal and order and was told the total was $42.00 and the woman refused to explain how she got the total. Called for delivery tonight and was told they were not delivering because the delivery driver's car was broke down. Love their pizza, but they're way over priced, charge what they want when they want depending on who you talk to, inconsistent customer service and sometimes totally rude. How they stay in business is a mystery. Great pizza, if you can get it at the correct price and get lucky enough to get a nice person that day. read more
