When my venue, Leonard's Palazzo, did not have the chairs I requested, Stylish Events gifted me their chairs to use. They also provided complimentary cake decoration- my cake looked beautiful. My guests took home the floral decor in bubble bowls which doubled as ceremony decor. They said it was the most stunning wedding set up they have ever experienced. Stylish Events offers both in person and virtual appointments and they are also available on Saturdays. I selected them as my only floral vendor because of their flexibility, large collection of real work examples that they've done, and absolutely breathtaking floral designs. I worked with Sunny for over a year and he is a true professional. I presented a color scheme for my florals and he brought the vision to life.

After connecting with her and checking availability, she started off with a phone call to get to know us better and get an idea of what we were looking for. A few months later, we met in person at the flower district to look through different options (floral and decorative). She was always available through email and text, and due to her experience in the industry, was a great calming support to have through the planning process. The quality of her work was exceptional, with a level of detail personalization that exceeded our expectations. Both of us knew very little about flowers, so she helped advise us on which flowers would be in season and would work with our palette. She also helped us stay within our budget and still maximize the wow effect. I worked with her on the side to add a surprise "something blue" Texas Bluebonnet to my bouquet for the groom (his state flower). We were even able to adjust the boutonnieres a few days prior to ensure everything was perfect. Plus, she added flowers and decorating the cake at no additional cost! I ordered lilies to be sent as a loose English garden arrangement, not tight and structured. The arrangement cost a total of $435 and legit looks like it came from my local grocery store. It was hideous, and looked like tall soldiers with ugly greenery around you would find in an arrangement pre-made at the store. The recipients were not happy either. Just overall disappointed and would not use Ovando again when sending flowers in New York. Only giving two stars because the person who took my order was really helpful and nice. I asked for a partial refund and they gave me $54, laughable. I could have made a better arrangement myself from Trader Joe's lilies. Do not use Ovando, you're better off visiting your local grocery store. Wasn't planning on writing this review but dealing with them after the fact and receiving that refund is insulting.

I usually buy fresh flowers at Trader Joe's, but the quarantine kept me out of stores in general. Acclimating to quarantining and working from home was a very disruptive process for me mentally and emotionally. By week 8 of my 14 week WFH journey I found Park & Bloom, and having fresh flowers in the house again helped me regain my balance. My first order was for some coral charm peonies that I fussed over like a pet. They closed most nights and went to bed and changed colors in the most beautiful way. My dude and I had long drawn-out conversations about the peonies; I think my dogs were a little jealous of the attention the flowers received. Since then I have ordered some more peonies, some anemones, and a small arraignment that was precious. I am always impressed with the quality of the flowers and love that the selection changes every week. Free local delivery on Wednesdays and Fridays is also really nice and there is usually pick-up available Saturday morning at the farmers market under the viaduct in Hoboken.
