We went in at about 8:30 where there wasn't a huge crowd so we were able to get a seat, especially with the ample seating. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed for the night, but we were able to relax with a multitude of choices for wine. The bar itself had a great environment where it was laid back. Even the bartender was very nice about making sure that we take our time and enjoy the wine we ordered. We enjoyed a wine flight with the Sauvignon Blanc Clarendelle, the Rosé Minuty, and the Cabernet Montes Alpha. I am definitely planning to go back in the summer where they have outdoor seating and enjoy some of the food options they have. read more

Came to Annata for the first time before picking up dinner, it is such a cool spot with a retail store being connected and we actually got to meet and have a good chat with the owner! Super cute and cozy! Perfect for a girls night or an intimate date night. Located in the heart of O'Bryonville. Plenty of street parking available. They have a number of wines available (but no moscato)! I got a peach Bellini, it was tasty but not the best I've ever had. I came for a small gathering with a women's group and the staff was friendly and accommodating. They do offer lite bites, cheese and crackers and salads. Definitely come check it out! read more

What a cute spot! A friend mentioned this place to me as I hadn't heard of it. Lo and behold, they've been there for 2.5 years. I have some catching up to do. The vibe inside is cozy, inviting and not pretentious at all. It's a chill spot to hand and have a lovely glass, or two, or wine. I was very impressed by the food menu! Somewhat hidden patio in Obryonsville that is quickly becoming a Spring favorite. I enjoyed a wine flight on a Wednesday evening and could not believe the variety for the price. I definitely found a gem in O' Bryonsville. Thee most friendly bartenders I've had in awhile. Great selection of wine from what seems like all over. Just a very classy wine bar, right up my alley. The baked Brie was decent, wish is had more of that fig jam spread all over top of the Brie. The baguette served with both the Brie and the spinach dip was so good, soft yet crunchy. The spinach dip was a bit too boujee for me with all the fresh artichokes, just give me a plain ole spinach dip with lots of cheesy goodness. I would probably just order a charcuterie the next time I'm in. I freaking love this place. read more

This might be my new favorite spot in OBryonville. We had dinner at Ripple and tried to go to Bean and Barley as usual, but they were closed for a private event. Annata was open and so friendly. They were due to close in about an hour and we chose to sit on the deck. We had a few rounds and stayed past their closing time. They never said anything to us that we were keeping them, just so friendly. They only have about six beers on tap, but plently of bottles and cans. Obviously they are a wine bar first. I can't wait to go back and sample the food. read more

The service here is amazing. The owner and bartenders are always so friendly. We've been a couple of times and it's usually not too busy. We usually enjoy sitting at the bar so we can talk to the bartenders. We also came for my birthday and the owner set up a large table in the back. Great place for events! Food is delicious from what I've tried. The baked feta is my favorite but the spinach artichoke is delicious as well. Spinach artichoke dip is heavy on the lemon flavor but I enjoyed it. Great unique selection of red wines. Love that the wine menu actually has descriptions of what to expect in the wine. You can also purchase a bottle from their shop which is connected and this usually ends up being less than the price of 2 glasses so it's a great deal. I believe they have live music 2 nights a week. (Wednesdays and Fridays??) We are looking forward to coming back in the summertime so we can enjoy the patio. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Annata!! I first visited in the summer and was able to enjoy my $15 wine flight out on the back patio with the Mediterranean sampler. I truly appreciated you could pick any wines form the wine list to have in your flight and that the flight was not limited to certain wines - it really ensured I would enjoy the wine I was drinking! The next visit was during the winter and on the Wine & Cheese Wednesday Pairing - again a great deal for $30! There were 3 wines and 3 cheese paired together, supplemented with other nuts/snacks on the charcuterie board. During this trip I tried my first orange wine which was so cool to have as part of a flight and not be a special (high-priced) order! The staff was very attentive and welcoming - the owner came around to our table and stayed for the perfect amount of time with us just to confirm we were doing well and answer any questions we had - I have been burned before where owners linger for too long with you and you don't get to enjoy your food/drink and people you were with so this was something I definitely appreciated! What a fun way to try fancy wine. We got a flight and charcuterie board which was amazing. It has the perfect amount of bread which is normally lacking and other places. There is also a wine cellar attached and you can go pick out a bottle and bring it to your table. They just change a 10 dollar corking fee. My favorite was the herb goat cheese! I can't even tell you how great the melt in your mouth taste on a toasted soft bread was. On top of it there was live music at the outdoor patio which was a bonus. It is a little pricey so most likely won't make this a weekly stop, but it is nice to indulge every now and then. read more

Came here my first time on a Friday evening. We sat on the back patio where there was live music which created an overall great ambiance. The two of us each ordered a wine flight and split the charcuterie board. All the dry red and white wines we sampled were excellent. The charcuterie board took a long time to come out, but was overall still worth it. The bread, meats, and cheeses were all superb and it was well sized as we both left full. I did enjoy the stone ground mustard, but wish there was some more of it to add another layer of flavor and to balance out the dryness of the bread. I think the wine prices could be a little cheaper. However, the charcuterie board seemed reasonably priced compared to others in Cincinnati. read more

We were introduced to Annatas when a friends birthday party was held there. A quaint little place that has small rooms divided by walls. It was too hot to enjoy the outside area. The staff were friendly and eager to help. Since it was a private party our hosts chose 3 wines and 4 beers that were included but you could purchase other items. Their selections were great and the appetizer choices were beautifully laid out and tasted great. There was a musical trio that added to the enjoyment. Parking is on street and metered until 6 but side street parking was also available. We had a great time. read more

Friday night on their back patio -- even with the August heat, there was shade from an old growth tree and a cooling breeze -- plus a jazz combo was absolutely cooking in the main bar room, and by opening the back shutters, the music drifted over the patio. The wine selection? Wonderful. The small appetizer plates? Delicious and generous. The service? Well informed and totally gracious. We will return to Annata with family and friends.
