My personal favorite section was the horror area with such a beautifully curated display! I also really enjoyed the Colorado section too with so much material on the many trails, hikes, foliage, foraging, etc... this was so enjoyable! I could've easily spent double the time I did in this shop, but it leaves me excited to come back and do exactly that. A great stop for book lovers!

These are books wrapped in brown paper, with a few descriptors on the front, and a quotation from the book along the spine. These books are not for sale per say, but you can make a donation to a rotating charity (when I was there it was for an organization that supported farm education for youth). I was introduced to this shop by my college-age son, who brought home a whole stack of these mystery books at Christmas and each of us got to pick one on Christmas morning (based on nothing but the descriptors and quotation). It was really delightful for our bibliophile family. If I were a FoCo local, I fear I would be in here on a very regular basis.

So rather than Amazon or Barnes Noble, I went downtown to purchase the book; sign it; and then I discovered they would ship it for me!! The book price was the same as the giant Booksellers and I could write a personal note too! This has been a good bookstore for decades and continues to enchant .
