This was my first time to Knoxville for the Sprint Car races! It was 3M sponsored night so this review will not reflect on general seating. We got a parking pass and as soon as we made our way into the parking lot. We got parked easily. We started walking the short walk to the arena. Parking is a little tight along the fence and saw a little fender bender. Good news is there was security close by and there in a heartbeat. We got to bring in our own coolers and drinks. This may be because we had suites way up above the general seating. Third floor up. With the passes we got scanned in to go up the elevator. We walked down the runway and found our suite at the end of turn four. The view is great. There is a fridge, sink and couple different seating areas. Right up against the windows is a row of standard chairs. Directly behind them is a bar like structure and then high rise chairs bump up to that. There is room to stand and another side high top in the back corner. Then there are multiple TVs. The A/C is super nice and there is a speaker you can hear the race announcer. We also got to go back down and check out the provided meal in the nearby rec building. It being 3M sponser night, they provided a full bag of goodies. We enjoyed the provided meal. With that in mind, there is still concessions that you can get some goodies. From the suite you can also call and have food delivered up so you don't miss out on the races. This is the #1 track for Sprint Cars. Drivers from all over the world. There is a museum across the track that tells you all about the history of the historic track. It is good fun for the whole family. We had a good time in the suite. The races were fun to watch. It was scary a couple times with the crashes and luckily no one was that night. I would go again if we were able to get the suite again. I really dont think I would enjoy 5 hours on the hard bleachers. Great stadium. I recommend. read more

Entry was fairly seamles at 5:30 for a 7:00 race. Small area for vendors. sat on back stretch. Not allowed to bring in food or beverage, but before the first heat race, the concession stands were out of food! No sandwiches, no French fries No popcorn. There are only 4 tables to sit at to eat food, so plan accordingly n standing if you can even get anything to eat. Racing is bland, no passing. Traffic after the race is a mess, there are police directin, but very erratic and there are scooters and golf carts darting all over. Women's RR on backstretch was floode, poor lady was doing her best to clean it up. Knoxville is definitely not the "World Capital of Racing" Take some lessons from Eldora Speedway on how to manage the racing and the facilities. Was really looking forward to this experienc, won't be back. read more

We visited Knoxville Raceway for the SRX in June 2021. We got to park at the track which was $10 for the event. We were able to pay an additional fee to enter the pits and meet Tony Stewart, Bill Elliot, Hailie Deegan, Michael Waltrip as well as several others. We could have stayed in the pits the entire night but decided to go to our seat in the stands. We sat in the middle of Section C. You could see the entire track and all the wrecks from our seats. This is a great dirt track and very fun to watch a race at. In my opinion this is a great value for the price. I would go back anytime. I do suggest bringing plenty of sunscreen as there really is no shade in the stands. I also suggest a cushion to sit on. There's plenty of food and drinks to choose from. The raceway is a fun experience. The parking isn't too bad. We parked across the street and had a short walk to the raceway. You can hear the cars speeding fast on the track. We were fortunate to get tickets to the box suite. We watched the races from the third floor. The box suite has AC, tv, bar and fridge. Pizza was ordered in. if it's too loud for you the suite keeps the noise out. Otherwise you can sit outside the suite and watch the race. Dirt flew up from the track during the race! Be prepared to get a little messy and have ear plugs. There was a couple car malfunctions on the track and some close calls. It's pretty entertaining and worth the experience. read more

First off have to say that # 1 this track hosts the biggest sprint car race of the year and # 2 the food is good at the track but also you have the rib shack and Mr C's or now it's called Ms D's. My first sprint car race and it is a great stadium and raceway. Cost is affordable for family fun and you will not be disappointed by the car damage that does happen during races. On the night of our races we witnessed a lot of smoke pouring out the back of one car, a couple of cars hitting each other and car almost flipping and losing its tire. There is a truck that makes laps around the stadium and shoots Tshirts into the crowd and a special drive around of flags in honor of military, emts, firefighters and police officers. The music, food and races all put together equal a really nice time! Large screen showing the race.. It is loud so bring some ear plugs! read more
