I stated to see Dr Chiu because of brain fog, occipital neuralgia and gut issues. I started to see him when I was 60 years old. My Mom died of dementia and I was worried I was headed in the direction. My journey started with him in late 2018 and continued early in 2019. At that time my first consultation was $500 for 60 minutes, then a 25 minutes appointment was $300. He did raise those prices while I was still getting treated. He was wonderful, compassionate, and heard my issues like no doctor had ever done. I often got teary eyed when he would give me feedback because I was so desperate. Financially, it was a huge strain. He recommended I do the 5 day Brain Save Program, which was $4995.00, the MBCW 12 week treatment plan for $1,995.00. I did both programs and bought all the supplements that he recommended. I did an elimination date for 30 days right off the bat, which made a tremendous difference. My gut was a mess. The 12 week treatment included infrared light treatment, oxygen treatment and some kind of vibration therapy, and the sauna treatment. I loved everything about my time spent there. I definitely spent over $10,000 in the few months I saw him. The treatment dropped off after the conclusion of my MBCW 12 week SESSION. I don't know how I dropped off, because he said they would follow up with me to see how I was doing. At the end he got my results of my GI MAP test $525, and my SIBO test, $345, and gave me the print out of both tests, but I never got a explanation from him because honestly, his $500+ office visit was just more than I could afford for the test explanation. Sorry I didn't do that, but I can't imagine how much he charges now. He works mostly, I felt like, with concussion patients when I was there. Most of the people I spoke to while we were there together had some brain trauma. I found all of my issue cleared up once I cleared my gut issues up. He is also a chiropractor, and I saw him for a few sessions, which were wonderful. Initially we thought my occipital pain came from inflammation, so I had hoped me changing my diet would help, but I had an extreme painful neuralgia during my treatment with him. I have now found out that it's a posture issue, which I found out through process of elimination. It was a once in a lifetime treatment for me because of the cost, and fortunately, my brain fog and gut issues went away with my change of diet. For me, I probably could have seen just a function medicine doctor and had a similar result. Now that I have educated myself more on gut issues, brain fog is a very common symptom for gut issues. read more

Just went in for an emergency adjustment for my SI joint. Dr. Natasha is a health miracle worker of sorts. She marriages science, medicine, and intuition and it's pretty amazing to go through the healing process with her. She really does this because she cares and loves the work. She is such a kind hearted person, and she truly is a vessel for healing. I already can tell that the drop table and activator adjustments are working. She shares with you what is going on bit by bit. And you never feel like you're left hanging. She is committed to getting you better each step of the way. Cannot recommend Dr. Chiu highly enough. I consider it fate that I stumbled upon his name one day and ended up in his office. After years of seeing doctors for a variety of health problems (even several Harvard and U Chicago specialists), I finally got some results after being in his care for only a month. He is extremely knowledgeable about cutting edge techniques and practices. He's very hands-on, present, and passionate about what he does. Previous doctors I saw basically ordered some tests, shrugged, and threw some prescription medications at me-- this went on for years with no change in my condition. Dr. Chiu used a hands-on approach that actually rehabilitated me within a month. He really takes time to get to know you and your condition, and creates a thoughtful personalized approach to healing. Sad to see him leave Chicago, but if I'm ever in Berkeley, I'll certainly be paying him a visit! read more

I came to Dr. Chiu for challenges with vertigo and dizziness. I have always loved to dance, and had started to notice that it was difficult to turn in class without getting dizzy and nauseous. After working with Dr. Chiu for a few months, I have indeed noticed my dizziness levels improve, and I'm able to turn and thus dance more freely. Hallelujah. To be transparent, I've known Titus since high school, and I love him to death. He is an upstanding citizen of humanity. Titus is dedicated to any endeavor he commits to. On a level that impresses and inspires me. As a healer I feel like he's elevating his profession and enriching people's lives. I worked with Titus when he was a young doctor in Chicago. I had a clavicle fracture my osteologist thought may need surgery. The break was between two opposing tendons that were pulling the fracture apart. His treatment plan was a prescription for muscle relaxers and a sling, and a follow up visit in a month. Unhappy with the prognosis I asked Titus if he could help. I was in a lot of pain and had no shoulder structure. Titus saw me weekly and strengthened my entire body, especially the muscles around my clavicle and scapula. When I revisited my osteologist he was surprised I didn't need surgery. I have not worked with Titus on neurology, but if I ever have a need he would be my first choice. I have been seeing Dr. Natasha for over a year and feel that she has been a great part in my progress this year. Working with Dr. Natasha @ Koba has been a really positive experience. I am a gradual kind of person. I don't really jump into things with both feet, I tend to wade in, especially with health stuff. She has given me solid advice and practical steps that I could take, of which I have probably inched into 50% of them, and she has been very patient with my ignoring/waiting on the other advice. I found Dr. Natasha because of reviews about Hashimoto's and people's positive experience with working with her. I've know I've been dealing with this issue for a few years now, followed by many years of not knowing, almost all of the time feeling like I was watching a graph line of my overall health slowly declining and feeling like no matter what I did I couldn't stop that slow, downward trend. After a year of working with Dr. Natasha I feel like that trend line has neutralized and, dare I say, even started moving upward. This makes me feel empowered about the possibility to try and add in some other things that I know are good for me, but didn't have the energy for before. At one of my first visits with her I, being a sarcastic person, said "you are probably going to say something awful like stop eating gluten." Well, I haven't eaten gluten in a year and I feel better. Dr. Natasha didn't sit at every meal with me and swipe away bread, but she informed me of why it might be a good idea and gave me encouragement and useful tips while I changed my habits. She recommended and I committed to regular massages (outside of Koba) and also a commitment to regular chiropractic work with her. Now that I'm through the year my back pain, which I don't think I totally realized was chronic, is mostly gone and I've committed to another full year. I first started seeing Dr. Chiu for help with Vertigo due to my autoimmunity on the recommendation of my Naturopathic Doctor.. We worked on relieving the Vertigo at his office and he gave me exercises to do at home and on the road. The treatments and exercises helped me immensely, I was even able to fly and ride roller coasters after our work together. In addition to the work on the Vertigo, Dr. Chiu was always attune into what was going on with my energy and my body and was able to help me with issues from a common cold, plantar fasciitis, the aftermath of a car accident and autoimmune flareups. Dr. Chiu gave me a lot of great advise and educated me on how neurology affects my auto-immune disorder. I have been taking the proper vitamins (I did a blood test to find out what I was deficient in), cold laser therapy, he's been giving me adjustments and now the issues I had are almost all gone. I had an issue with a muscle that felt like my lower back. But finally, I find out it's more about an over worked muscle that needed to be messaged out over time. I had that issue for years and doctors would not even look at it as a back issue. I also have graves disease, a thyroid condition and I take no medication now. I stopped eating what Dr. Chiu advised (for the most part) and now my heart rate is normal all the time, my nervousness and anxiety is pretty much gone. It was an expensive investment, but well worth it for a lifetime of knowledge into my own health. I believe this is a better physical therapy service that going to see a doctor, the future of medicine. Dr. Fallahi and Dr. Chiu are the Wonder Couple. Thank goodness I randomly stumbled upon their Instagram (@hello.koba). I have been seeing Dr. Fallahi for Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and chronic aches for several months now. I had been treating Hashimoto's through a variety of natural treatments already--I had seen a naturopathic doctor, done acupuncture and am following the Autoimmune Protocol as designed by Dr. Sarah Ballantyne. So before coming to Dr. Fallahi, I had already experienced a ton of healing from my condition. The chronic cough, sinus infections, chronic low energy, digestive problems, hair loss and a ton of other things had already disappeared. What makes Dr. Fallahi (and Dr. Chiu) awesome is the depth of their knowledge in healing. The two of them combined have training in chiropractic, neurology, nutrition, homeopathy, functional medicine, BioEnergetic medicine, CranioSacral therapy, Chinese medicine... The list is almost infinite. I was afraid that when I walked in I wouldn't be able to get help, because I'd already healed so much and I'd cleaned up my diet. My fears went totally unrealized! Dr. Fallahi is so driven and motivated and is a very gifted healer! Having Hashimoto's herself she knows what it's like to go through conventional treatments and feel the frustration of looking for answers and finding none. Dr. Fallahi really listens to every symptom and issue and has a natural instinct for knowing where to focus. She is able to sense things that are "off" in my body intuitively. She is also just an incredibly nice and engaging person to talk to, and from day one I felt comfortable pouring out my life to her. The KOBA treatment room is set up nicely as well, with soothing colors, good music and plenty of sunlight. If you at all are suffering from autoimmune disease, or are suffering from a disease that your conventional doctors cannot help you with, RUN, don't walk, to KOBA! I wish I had had this place back when I was first diagnosed two years ago! So much money, and more importantly stress and damage to my body, I could have saved instead of jumping around from doctor to doctor. Chiropractic, especially the KOBA way, is awesome. It really allows your body to heal itself, while gently supporting it along the way.
