    LOOOOOKING GOOOOOOD : )
    Cara P.

I am THRILLED! Other Toyota dealers said it was "impossible" to get the Toyota Tacoma in the color and package I wanted. Josh Rumble at Kotch made it happen. He and his GM went to work. They gave me a very fair price on my trade in. Josh gave me great updates and communications. It was the first time in a long time I felt awesome at a dealership. Josh really went above and beyond. Now I have an awesome truck at a great price. How can you beat that? You can't. I would gladly refer people to Josh and this dealership...I have already started! : )

Used car buyers beware. It is recommended if you buy a used vehicle from Koch 33 Toyota, that you bring a mechanic or take it to a shop and put the vehicle on a lift to inspect it. The salesman will not educate you on known issues of the vehicle you are looking at. I bought my truck less than 2 years ago and recently went in for an oil change. They then discovered this hole in my frame and quoted me $16k for a frame replacement. I was certainly taken back by this. I took my truck for a second opinion and they said, "this did not happen" in less than 2 years. I then took it to rust specialist who said, "this is more than likely 4-5 years old. He confirmed that by the amount of metal he had to remove to make the repair. (Which Koch 33 Toyota told me was not repairable). I spoke to quite a few managers and such, none of which were sympathetic to my situation. Instead I was given every rebuttal and defensive answer under the sun. I wanted to give them an opportunity to make things right before I made this review. I just got off the phone with Bob Bozarth, General Manager. Again, no sympathy and the ultimate corporate responses and defensive rebuttal. They also had to me talk to Mike Burock, finance director. He told me they want to help me and to come in. He handed me off to a salesman and had me test drive a slightly newer truck with even more signs of rust than my truck. While test driving, this salesman asked if I had GAP insurance and that Dick's Sporting Goods has mouth pieces on sale. Suggesting that I total the truck and collect the insurance. Not really in a joking mood at this point. Came back and talked to Mike Burock again. His solution was to trade in the vehicle and buy a more expensive truck to roll over $14k of negative equity into. This would turn my current $557/mo payment into $1,100/mo. "Well now that your truck has a hole in the frame, we can only give you $11,500 for it" All this being said after purchasing 2 vehicles from Koch 33 Toyota. We are nothing more to them but a transaction. Sell a car, on to the next. I gave them about 2 weeks to retain me as a customer. Finally was able to talk with Bob Bozarth, GM today and he was okay with losing my business and anyone else's business that may read this. I said I would settle for the cost of the repair, $1,500.00. Nope, you signed an "As-Is" disclosure, nothing we can do. Look at the pictures below and ask yourself if that happened in less than 2 years. BUYERS BEWARE!

Koch 33 Ford, DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CLIENT SAFETY!!!…read more Koch 33 Ford sold me a vehicle that should have never passed state inspection or allowed to be driven off the lot. Below is my side of the story. I have an inspection report from a local garage attached. I took a used SUV that I was interested in for a test drive with salesmen Greg in the passenger seat, it had new inspection stickers on it. Made a right-hand turn heard knocking that got faster as I slowed down, then eventually stopped (Greg acknowledged that he heard it also) I also mentioned that the SUV struggles to stop, like the brakes need work (Greg did not acknowledge that statement). But as I said above the SUV had brand new inspections stickers on it, weeks old inspection stickers according to the date. How bad could it be? I get a good price with negotiating for a short time and bought the Toyota RAV4. Fastest purchase I ever made at a dealership. Should have been a sign! I took the SUV to a local garage the next week to get it looked over with a purchase inspection, I want a background on the SUV, a list of things I will want to start fixing or maintaining since it is an older 2007 with 166K on it (bought it as a secondary or beater) so there will be old parts and neglected things that were put off by the previous owner(s), we all do it! Want to get ahead of things to get the old SUV to last. Expecting it to be a safe and solid car, only to find that I have been driving an SUV for a little over a week that should NOT HAVE PASSED State-Inspection. Brake Pads were rusted and warn, Rotors/Linkages are warn/rusted and have bad compression (makes sense why the SUV, STRUGGLES TO STOP!). BOTH REAR SWAY BARS BUSTED, (makes sense why the SUV, WAS KNOCKING ON TURNS) along with 2 other red safety issues that no garage will let a vehicle pass, was the cabin filter needed replaced and 5 safety or exterior lights on the SUV were out or nonfunctional (the Filter and Lights I had fixed on the spot since that was expected and to me not a big deal). I called to see what Koch 33 Ford could do since I drove a vehicle off the lot that is NOT ROAD WORTHY, they really did not seem to have a sense of urgency (was not them in the car and they have their money). I feel that they do not care that they sold me a vehicle that I could have gotten hurt or done harm to others (or worse), even though they inspected the SUV a few weeks before I bought it. Since they were not showing signs of getting back to me (hours went by) no return call, I got the SUV back from Dave's Auto in Stockertown and brought the SUV back to Koch 33 Ford myself and talked to one of the sales managers, Jim (since Greg was with another customer) It seemed like Jim already had my car info pulled up, looking into things which was insuring. I told Jim that it is not a safe car that I am just giving Koch the key and provided them with the inspection report from Dave's, I would like to know how they intended to fix it and a schedule. Only to get resistance saying "the rotors and brakes passed inspection when they had it" I asked them to look it over and give another opinion they can keep it and left, I did not want to get into an argument. A full day day went by with no call or contact in any way. So, I stopped in again on my way home from work (1 and a half days) after around lunch. Only to find out that they intended to just fix the sway bars, had to show them Dave's inspection report AGAIN, with the braking system as well, that was about to turn into an argument, but the sales manager said that he was going to talk to the techs because he doesn't know inspection laws. 10 minuets later he came back and finally said we will fix that also "parts were just ordered". I do not really trust them much right now, so I may have it checked again. I am glad I did not wait to have the vehicle looked over by someone else, I feel that if months went by I would have been shafted, either had a crash or brought it in because something was not working right, and been stuck with a heavy repair bill! That they would have said, it is on you to fix this is typical maintenance, wear and tear on a vehicle of that age. Even though if I was paying for an inspection, if it was my car already they would not have passed it the first time. Koch 33 Ford, does the bare minimum to scrape by with inspections when they are selling a used car overlooked fatal items (thinking about reporting them to the state or PennDOT!) and will sell you a vehicle that is not fit to be on the road! Everyone knows that if you were getting the car regularly inspected at the establishment they would not pass it and charge you for every little thing like wiper blades. I had to go through a lot of effort to get them to do the right thing with a UNSAFE suv! I have photos of my local garage's inspection report attached if interested, sorry for the book. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE WORKING WITH ANY KOCH DEALERSHIP! Thank You

I have a free oil change because I bought a brand new truck six months ago, and I will not even have them do an oil change. So I purchased a pretty expensive truck from these people and I brought it home.... it was late and dark so i made some dinner, took a shower and went to bed. The next day I go to start the truck up all excited to take it grocery shopping and I noticed a dent and two big chips on the door jam and a small dent on a lower passenger side door ... I must've not seen it when I bought the truck. So when I bought the truck the sales person told me I have a one year dent and scratch protection warranty, which I'm beginning to wonder if they did that because they knew that the truck had damage. So I called up about the chips and the dent and the sales man wanted to just buy me a bottle of touchup paint and have it be done. But I talked to the sales manager, and he manned up and fixed the flaws. So the dent was fixed, which was no big deal and the big chips which they actually had to paint part of the cab over. Fast-forward six months I was washing my truck..... now it only has 1400 miles on it. I noticed a small dent on the passenger side door by the door handle. I call up and I spent two days about 2 1/2 hours on the phone going back-and-forth between the Ford dealership and the Kock collision center across the street about how to fix this dent Now I have a one year dent and scratch warranty. Remind you. It was like pulling teeth to get these people to even look at the issue. Kock collision and the Kock dealerships do not seem to know how to communicate to one another you go to one and they tell you gotta get approval from the other and then you go to the other and they tell you to get approval from this person. I have this all documented and actually called Ford corporate but nobody wants to do anything so all I can recommend is do not use this business and I won't even be buying another ford again after this.

It started after my wife was rear-ended at a stop light. Her car drove away from the accident and after 4 months of driving everyday, The insurance came and we went to get the bumper replaced. She dropped her car off on the 1st. 5 days later she got a call to come pick it up its all set. She pulled in and got her car but it wouldnt start. They told her it was her battery (which was replaced a year ago and never had any problems). They replaced her battery and called us the next day saying they found a sensor that had drained the battery so they needed to replaced that sensor. A few days later they gave us a call and for the 3rd time our car was finished. She went to pick it up and before she got out of the parking lot all the lights on the dash came on and the car shut down....  THE CAR HAD NO PROBLEMS BEFOR THEY TOUCHED IT. ill also add when she went to leave the 3rd time the heat and ac would not work. They checked the fuses and said no problem here not sure why its not working take it to mazda. She had to leave her car for a 4th time. They called a few times saying it was a grounding issue and at one point they had 72 codes but they would go away and others would come on. They replaced a blown up relay which controls the heat and ac. I guess sometimes they just blow up when the car is sitting. They called and said its now working and driving but they cant get rid of check engine lights. I told them it did not have any lights on before they touched it and they said they have a picture of the dash because they always take one of the lights on for this exact reason. They took me into the office and showed me a picture of the dash and the check engine light was on. Well wouldn't you know the picture was dated the 8th. We dropped it off on the 1st. Then they said they dont take pictures of the dash when they get the car. One technician informed us he drove it all over it was fine. Another technician said they never drove it because they didnt have a reason to. After the invoice with the ground/wire harness issue they hooked it up to a computer and are now telling us its a oil pressure switch and now its not a power/wire issue because i reminded them it had no problems until they touched the sensor and bumper. Im almost positive they pinched a wire. Im just praying they didn't ground the welder on the computer side of the frame when "fixing" the bumper. Im giving one star because its the lowest you can give and also because they "feel bad" after saying its so strange it was fine and all we did was the bumper and now we have no idea whats going on. They made us take the car. And basically said its your problem now that's from wear and tear its a coincidence we were working on it when all this happened. They didnt even offer to take it to the mechanic shop and fix it. Im telling as many people as i can about this experience if i could stop one person from having to deal with this it will be worth the post

After purchasing the car, I noticed a leftover residue on the trim (likely from the detailing process) and within an hour James had already coordinated a service/detail inspection and followed up with me several times prior to that appointment. At the time of my service/detail appointment, Ethan was fantastic, walking through all the steps/process and keeping me updated of their plan. Rather than keeping me sitting around the waiting room, they got my lyfts to and from my home and continued to check in with me (even as far as sending me photos of the repair itself)! When I came to pick up the car, they inspected the repair with me to make sure I didn't have any other concerns, and went as far as to take my car through the car wash and top off with gas before I left, which I have never had a dealership (private or corporate) do before. Additionally, as part of my Maxcare plan, the repair was covered with no cost to me.
