A nurse, Lisa, from the senior center on Spyglass suggested Dr Christensen for my dad (he's 86) and I'm so glad she did. He was very professional and friendly. He didn't try to wow him with all the new tech in dental services, he just examined his teeth and asked what the issue was. He fixed my dad's tooth there on the spot and didn't rush through it. He kept asking my dad if he was satisfied and when my dad said no Dr Christensen would just keep making minor adjustments until my dad was happy with the results. The entire staff is friendly and overall it was just a great experience. It is such a relief to finally find a dentist we can trust and won't try to sell extra services just to make a buck. After my initial appointment and x-rays, he asked for a few days to review my information and x-rays to determine the best treatment for me. I sincerely appreciated the time he gave to me personally to determine the best course of care for my situation. On the day of surgery, Dr. Mitchell discussed the treatment plan again. He was assisted by Denise and at times, Stephanie. Dr. Mitchell and team are some of the most competent, caring and compassionate care I've received! They addressed any concerns I had. I even attached my X-ray to show you guys how a nerve was running right near my bottom left wisdom tooth and my doc told me it's going to be a challenge but he can do it. He successful removed all 4 and sent me home with zero pain medicine other than ibuprofen. My husband called back for me later that evening stating I was crying and in pain needed something strong. (Side note: I've NEVER taken ANY pain medicine before, I've never had a surgery or broken a bone.) My doc gave me two days worth of Vicodin. They did NOT work and made me extremely nauseous because I couldn't eat anything. I called back two days later in tears wondering when I would feel some relief and receptionist said my doc wanted to see me because he's worried about infection. I go in and there is no infection and no dry sockets. He said I will be in pain for a COUPLE of weeks and that it's going to take some time. And prescribed me Percocet (lowest dose, two days worth) They helped tremendously, I was able to eat and sleep for two days. I called back to get a refill because I'm still in SO much pain when it wears off. When the receptionist answered and I asked for a refill she said "Um ma'am you know it's really concerning that you need another refill, normally people don't need pain medicine a week after surgery". She legit made it sound like I was abusing prescription. Meanwhile I'm in tears while I'm typing this because of how much pain I'm in. Every time I called to ask if this much pain it normal they always made me feel this way. I don't understand, they legit told me that my wisdom teeth were some of the worst impacted teeth they have seen and it was really hard to get them out. I wouldn't recommend them for your wisdom teeth cause once they have your money they don't care how you feel afterwards. They make you feel crazy for being in pain and just wanting some relief. Well the receptionist don't care at least.

Dr. Beata Carlson is my regular dentist and I've always felt incredibly cared for at this office, so even though this was a last-minute emergency visit and she was unavailable, I trusted I'd be in good hands. Dr. Luo saw me and found a hairline fracture, so I now have a temporary crown while my permanent one is being made. But what really stood out to me was his bedside manner. He was calm, confident, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely at ease through the whole process. I also noticed how respectfully he interacted with the dental assistant. You could genuinely feel the teamwork and how much they both cared about me and my dental health. I actually told him afterward how much I appreciated the experience. At Natural & Cosmetic Dentistry, this level of attentiveness, professionalism, and kindness just seems to be the standard. When I came home to Florida, none of my usual dentists wanted my case. My GP recommended I see Dr Mehta. Now, I live in St Pete, so Palm Harbor is a bit far, but Dr Mehta worked with me for a month on a series of temporaries before casting a softer gold crown, which I've now had for two years. So my loyalty was certainly earned, but honestly the hygienists here also just do a great job for regular checkups and cleanings. Even without bleaching my teeth always look much whiter after a cleaning here than from anywhere else. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a highly skilled and trustworthy dental practice.
