(The butcher packed my coolers and even carried it to my car! We made the trip out there to check it out. Is it easy to get to.. YES! Lots of signs to retail store. Is there parking? YES, a nice big parking lot. Do they have hours? YES, posted to their door. Do I regret taking so much time to get here? YES The staff are wonderful. They have a case of things they offer right then and there. They have a frozen section with a bunch of breakfast sandwiches and other items. They have a menu of things you can order. The store itself is small but it's quiet considering it's attached to their actual production area. My only regret is not coming when my freezer was low. We grabbed a whole bunch of items and saved quite a bit vs grocery store prices. Mark my word we will be back.

Today the guy on the cash register asked why we bag our items with the grocery bags. Does Kroger employees go to health safety training? It is also raining and we do not want our food rained at and get ruined by the rain water specially the dry goods since the molds will form on the dry goods. I never heard any complaint from the Publix cashiers. They are all very courteous and polite to their customers. If the cashiers find it inconvenient to scan our groceries, why work there?

The sauce is a little sweet, I recommend the sliced brisket over the chopped brisket any day. As for the chicken tenders, wait until it's hot fresh and just put out and it's a life-changing experience. The Buc-ee's sauce is the only way to go. You can get barbecue sauce or honey mustard at any other place. The fries are definitely better than the homemade chips. I did not like those chips, I don't know if I just didn't have them hot and fresh, but I would say skip them. We got some banana pudding to go. Also, would not recommend. It's vanilla pudding with some bananas and wafers. I like my banana pudding to be banana pudding not vanilla pudding with bananas, etc.. The merging lanes are a chaotic free-for-all where nobody takes turns. It's incredibly stressful. On top of that, you can find cheaper gas, much easier in-and-out access, and far superior barbecue just a little further down the road. If you don't specifically need a Buc-ee's run for peppermints or snacks, save your sanity and bypass this one.

I've tried both options, and honestly I do not think the upgrade is really worth the extra cost. The price difference is minimal, so it is not a huge deal either way, but once the sandwich is toasted, it is really hard to tell much of a difference in taste. That kind of made the regular Publix cold cuts feel like the better value to me. Overall, Publix does a solid job as a grocery store, but the deli is definitely one of the best reasons to stop in. We bought the Tennessee Christmas jam, honeysuckle jam, blueberry syrup, and their pancake mix which they milled. We were privileged to have a personal tour of the mill which was a wonderful, informative lesson of history, hard work, and love. The Valentine family is rooted in a deep heritage and is blessing their community and town with their hard work. I highly recommend going to their store and supporting their family while getting you and yours something lovely.
