Clean and well stocked store. Great bakery and produce department. Was able to get checked out quickly by a very courteous person.

Sucks as normal. Always treated by staff as if you are bothering them. One register open but they stand and count the number of items you take through self checkout. Then say something to you if you over 15 items. Can't wait till Walmart breaks ground across the road. read more

Good store. They carried everything we needed, and respectable prices. We took an Uber from Anchor Down(about $10). Deli salads were about average. Meats were good and had good selection. Staff was nice, but a little awkward at times. Felt kind of Hills have Eyesish...weird. Either way, it is the only real option, and still not a bad one. The store itself is managed horribly the Store manager is always rude and always yelling at his employees (what happened to talking nicely) the last few times I've been in there something has to be done . His employees are rude as well .I will never step back into this food city again until he is no longer the manager they lost my business. If I could give this no stars I would. read more

first off, I will say out of all of the food cities I have been to. This is the first one that made me feel unwelcome. I walked in and at least 10 employees right there at the entrance, stared me down and come check out. I just felt like I got nothing but attitude. The only people that made me feel welcome was a ones in the produce section but the rest of them where the cash registers are, they need a heavy talking to about customer service read more

I love the newly remodeled look of the store. I've seen the other food cities and they don't have the beautiful fireplace in the cafe area. We live in kodak and we come here quite a bit to eat lunch. The superburger with fries is delicious. Disappointed they quit serving a drink with the meals. Everyone in this location is friendly and they know my name. The philly cheese steak sub is delicious as well. I hope they keep the prices the same, because that would make us stop going. Andregular restaurant instead. I hope to keep up the quality because at other food cities. When i've ordered the super burger at other food city locations, it's quite small in comparison, so we never eat at the other food cities. I think it was wise to remodel and I hope to keep up the looks of it, especially with the new Buccees down the street, & the Cherokee attraction coming to our area. read more

I ordered 18 chicken breasts on 12/22/23 for pickup 12/26 at 5:15PM. when we arrived at 5:20 PM 12/26/23 the order had not been started, much less ready. the excuse was "we are short staffed," after 43 minutes they provided the order. My suggestion is that if you can't provide services due to staffing then don't offer the services. My rating is less than one star. Has the Smith Family corporation grown so much they have forgotten how to treat the customer? read more

Very overpriced here - I so don't get why people continue to shop here - on food stamps probably. We live fairly close by but I will drive further to grocery shop rather than shop here. And the employees don't seem happy at all to be working here....they probably get no discounts on their groceries! read more

Very minimal and basic. I go here because it's the closest store to me. They are usually out of stock on something I need. The plus is that employees are very friendly lately. It also seems like they are staffed better than the previous months. Waits can still be a problem. The bathroom is usually clean. read more

My husband and I were traveling to Charlotte. We stopped at Food City for soup. I had an upset stomach, and the soup was the only thing that agreed with me. At the Deli, I asked if they had soup. They did not. The server stated the only soup they had was Panera cold soup. I said great and asked if it could be warmed in the microwave. Their response was rude and dismissive, going so far as to state it's for employees only. I understand protocols. But sometimes, not using common sense can cause a business to lose a sale and get a bad review. read more

A small version of food city that has everything you need. It is perfect for areas such as Kodak there are no other grocery stores within miles and miles. It also has a video store and a bank. The bakery is awesome. They also serve breakfast from 6 to 10 AM very good food. read more

The store is very neat, clean, and well stocked. The employees are friendly and helpful. The only downside is a corporate issue not with the location. I cant imagine working a long week and then fighting the tourists to get to and from the store on Friday nights. It is an insult to working people to give us only Friday night for the best sale prices. From the perspective of somebody that works Monday thru Friday this is why I often shop elsewhere and thus I am not forced to get my sale prices on Friday night. read more

I see there are no recent reviews here. I shop this store on a regular basis. Lately they have been having Great sales through out the store most every Friday. The people are friendly and they have a good produce Dept. The meat is good and the Bakery is really great. This is "my" grocery store. There meat department is the best in Sevier County bar none. But the main reason i'm so loyal to this store is out in their parking lot is a huge American Flag. It is beautiful. When they flag gets a small rip, they replace it right away. And those big flags aren't cheap at about $500 a pop. But they have done it every time there is a problem. I am so proud of this Food City. The fact that they honor our country by displaying the flag proudly and correctly, is so rare these days, and i will support them in that in every way that i can. seems as if food city is out of touch with the enjoyable shopping experience. two other house holds have now left food city except should and emergency arise only because of short drive we found more and more displays in the already narrow isles which now we had to move to get to the products we desire so we all are now Kroger fans open isle easy access friendly people and enjoyable shopping experience so enough said good luck try shopping at your own stores food city management people read more
